    Woodmizer builds a great product. I bought my first one in 1993 and built my house with the lumber, and later sawed prime oak for a big sawmill. The LT40 even w/o hydraulics is very robust and has power feed & power up/down. Now I'm on my 3rd mill with 110 acres of hardwood!

    I love the way that 4 way can actuate up and down. Looks like an amazing splitter! I'm still waiting for a stacking video, that's a heck of a pile of wood to stack.

    • @matthewsims359
      @matthewsims359 4 роки тому

      I guess the morgans just has too much going on for woodstack 2019. I think that big pile will either be sold from the pile or in ibc totes.

    • @TKCL
      @TKCL 4 роки тому

      @@matthewsims359 sold from the pile would definitely help them out. Ibc totes still requires picking up and stacking. Either way is deserving of a video, I'm curious about the amount of time involved in sorting and cleaning the pile up.

    Howdy Mike and Melissa
    Really enjoy watching your videos and see all the beautiful wood you “ uncover” at the sawmill. Really love seeing the Cherry and oak being processed. I’ve been “ nuts about oak “ for over 45 years and still loving working with many hardwoods.Thank you for putting out really well done, down to earth videos that are so enjoyable. Keep up the great work and stay healthy and happy!

    I have been watching for about 8 months now. I am 74 years old and am a retired logger. I still cut and heat my home with wood. The only heat source I have is a good wood stove in my basement. My home is modest, 1300 sq. ft. but sufficient for my wife and I. I am envious of the life style you live with all of the equipment, looks like fun.
    What this comment is about is the music that you play on your videos; it’s great! It’s diverse, it supports the mood of the task being shot and covers all age groups. I personally am not familiar with most of they’re artists but once again find it to be appropriate. Please keep it up. You folks seem to be comfortable with who you are and will and will do as you feel fit. Thanks for keeping me in the woods and allowing me to sit on your shoulder and observe your adventures.

Well Mike, this tells me your camera work is quite good and your viewers are sharp enough to pick up on a small detail such as a misaligned debarker. Either some viewers are sharper than the average bear or the videos skew our viewpoint enough to ask about alignment of the debarker?

    • @Tomrryaniv
      @Tomrryaniv 4 роки тому +1

      I immediately saw that as well! It made me wonder if we can’t see it via the camera angle as well as reality looks, but it seems to be 1/4” to 3/8” misaligned. I also noticed that the deviation appears to be less as the debarker moves inward. Anywho, I really, really, really like your videos Mike. We need to get you and Melissa out here in Wranglerstar Land!!

Is there any chance that you could do a sawmill video with the perspective from the operator's view? In other words, looking over Mike's shoulder. I would like to see which controls are used to raise the blade and how you know where to place the blade to make sure all wood has a consistent thickness. Good morning, really love watching you videos. I was wondering how wide and long of a log can that wood mixer handle. And how often do you change the blade on it. I know condition of the wood is always a factor but on a average?

    Wow. Just wow. Didn't know there was a machine that could do that. Very fascinating. And yes Melissa is easy on the eyes as well, lol. Thanks for the informative vid.

    Its always hard to go after a much needed time off,but you accomplished many things,and most important enjoyed quality time with family and friends.

    Hey Mike, I am not a experienced lumber man like you are. What would be the easiest way to tell different types of lumber? I really think that Mellissa should start using the LT 150, and you should do the heavy lifting. What do you think... I am smiling!!!! You guys are the best!!!!
