It took me a week as a handi-capable guy to set up the bed rails alone when i set mine up. with i had a hoe for installing the head unit, but i used a small scaffold. I had the exact same issue with my log clamp upon initial set up. Called woodmizer and they told me to force it with some cutting fluid and see if it went through before they would send me one without an issue... It did end up working, but u would think quality control would thread that in to check before shipping. All in all customer service has been pretty freindly in my experience and the machine seems well contructed. Only a few minor things i would change. The throttle travel is probably my biggest complaint, its either idle to 60% throttle, or its 35% throttle on start then near wide open throttle. I like what u have done with yours, do u gave full range of throttle now?
I like my throttle setup alot better than the factory I had the same thing could not get wide open and idle in the same adjustment. My throttle lever is a cheapy and will need to be replaced with a better one someday but it works for now. I like being able to engage the blade at idle. I noticed your user name first thing. I have a 72 chevy nova. I will do some more videos on it soon. Cooler weather is more fun to move logs around. Thanks for watching
Keep uploading videos man, I think they are great! You only need to work on the sounds of it but I like the style instead of hearing the mill run maybe put some music over it and buy a cheap clip-on mic and we could hear you a lot better closer to the mill. Other than that great video I subscribed and hope to see more in the feature. I only state the above because it would help you get a more views and help retain more people to watch more!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. P.S. I am looking to buy the same mill. are you happy with it?
Thanks for the comment. I agree with you totally and have to get a mic. As far as the mill, YES, I like it. The only thing now that I have it up on the stand to make the log/lumber at waste height the controls are all to high so I will be making some changes sometime but I'm not sure how untill I use it more. Thanks for watching
I have mostly set up now. What a pain in the ass to set up! Also people can find your videos easier if you change for LT50 to LX50. Fun to watch. Thanks
I just used a 4 foot level and kept messing with it. It's amazing if you think you have a level spot of how far unlevel that spot really is. The first spot I put mine, I ended up with the feet all the way out and a 4x4 under them on one end. Keep messing with it you will get it. The nuts and bolts are all right the until you go to put a wrench on them. Kinda a pain in the ass.
@@StephenLindsay-x7bthat’s crazy. Yea I’m not sure. I’m currently not to happy with my mill. But I think it’s my fault for not having a level space to begin with
Life goals right here, just need a way to load those logs first.
Stay tuned. I just recorded a video and talked a little about having equipment to load with. Thanks for watching

You're right it's a LX50. I think I corrected myself in the video also :) It is fun once the assembly is done. Thanks for watching
Any help on getting straight cuts. I think I may have assembled something wrong. It’s way too hard to get level?

Mine cut perfect for 200 boards and now cuts wavy- no matter what I’ve tried…. You had any luck yet?
@@StephenLindsay-x7bI don’t know. Maybe a fresh blade and make sure your running at full rpm’s while cutting. Check if belts are loose etc
@@matthewtaylor350 tried absolutely everything… new belt, new blade, reset and set all tolerances… cannot fathom it
