I’ve been watching your videos for about a month and living a dream through them. I have a special attachment to Sugar Tree Tennessee and the Cherokee Boat Dock and Marine. I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and my grandparents spent their weekends camping there at the marina. Sometimes we would ride over and spend the weekends fishing and playing at the Waters edge. My grandparents eventually retired there in the Cherokee community. Once when I was eight or nine years old, a friend of my grandparents who had a cabin cruiser, took my grandmother and I for a ride down to Pickwick through the lock and Dam. The gentleman that owned the cabin cruiser spent time with me explaining the Tennessee river system, and how the locks and dams work. It left a deep impression on me and for all my life I dreamed about taking a trip down the Tennessee river to the Mississippi and being as Tom Sawyer. That dream is always been in the back of my mind, but life took a different road. I got married to a gentle woman. We had a couple of kids. And now we have three beautiful grandchildren. I would not trade any of it for any of my dreams. Now, I spend my days, living the dream, fishing, lakes, and rivers near home here in Georgia and abroad. Sometimes the dream is better than the reality. With many thanks here’s a small gift to help you and Wavy along the way.
Wow. Thank you! Very generous. The Tennessee River and Kentucky lakes are probably the last best places in the country for what you're talking about. Lake Superior is nice too, but summer/fall only. --Brenton and Wavey
On your earlier video about getting stuck in the mud was educational. It is so important to show the good bad and ugly, and how you dealt with it… Somebody’s got it worse than I.
Great job as always. I went into that Marina many years ago and also was very confused as it is very tight. Your travels bring back great memories for me. Always looking forward to your episodes.

Oh, that little white kayak! Is that a new acquisition? I don't seem to remember it in the earlier videos. If you make yourself a plastic (or scrap rubber roofing) "lid" for the cockpit hole, it won't fill with water if/when it flips. Also, you can use it for additional storage space without too much of a "drag" penalty on your speed.
