@@matttv94I personally don’t agree it’s the new terrible experiences that he goes through and the people he meets in the future that shapes him killing Shane didn’t solely make Rick who he is
1:12 I love how Carl and Rick barely react to that. Like they have just gotten used to the walkers and its more just an inconvenience to them rather than a threat. Shows their growth too. Especially Carl since kids normally freak out at these situations most times
CLEAR was one of my FAV episodes! Lennie James ("Morgan") is an AMAZING actor! The scenes with Morgan were shot on Andy Lincoln's (Rick) birthday and he said acting with Lennie again was one of the best birthday gifts he ever received! ❤❤❤ Great reactions guys.
One of my favorite episodes of the entire series. “People wearing dead people faces.” “I see red & all I see is red.” “I don’t know anyone anymore.” “Son, never apologize.” “And she was just ON him.” “I let it go, like it wasn’t going to me a reckoning.” Michonne and that damn colorful cat😂. Carl always trying to boss up. Rick, be soooo understanding. Man oh man.
One of the best episodes to this date the scenes between Andrew Lincoln (Rick) And Lennie James (Morgan) are just fantastic Two of the best actors on the show no doubt and it’s pure magic.
great episode, perfect acting. I just wanted to thank you for this reaction, my cat died yesterday of cancer and for 18 minutes you made me forget the pain I was in, thank you really.
I look at this episode of Rick looking at Morgan as a reflection of who he could become We saw what Rick was like losing Lori Imagine what would happen if he were to lose Carl and/or Judith Lose everything.
Great reaction guys. Awww Carl got his picture, I didn't understand at first and remember being cross at him first saying "where's he going now", but glad Michonne followed him and saved his life, but then when I saw the picture, it all made sense. A POWERFUL and intense episode one of the best of Season 3 alongside "3x4 KILLER WITHIN", where Rick loses Lori, both performances from Lennie James and Andrew Lincoln was outstanding. The actor Lennie James who plays Morgan did an OUTSTANDING piece of acting here, he should have won been awarded an Emmy for it, it was full of so many emotions, at first confusion with Morgan talking about people wearing dead men's faces, then anger, grief, sadness, pain, it's AMAZING how he manages to act like he really is having a mental crisis and badly suffering from PTSD after losing his family, he gave it his ALL and Rick also gave another stellar performance and the part where Morgan said "...and I see Red, I SEE REEEED (his voice quivering on that 2nd "RED"), EVERYTHING IS RED, EVERYTHING I SEE IS RED and I do it..." - CHILLS. I love when Morgan says "that's a lot of guns Rick..." Poor Morgan may he find some peace!
@@KayKay-l2t My comment is not a spoiler as Morgan said he was going to find Rick. He said it weeks ago on his last episode on Fear the Walking Dead, S8 ep 8. Since that episode aired weeks ago, everyone had their chance to see it by now.
Now, that was just a masterclass in acting. I don't even know how that scene between Rick and Morgan didn't get an Emmy. And when I found out both of them were British, I nearly lost my shit. They do American accents so well. Clear is actually in my top 5 of the whole series. I loved the Carl & Michonne moments. When Carl said, "She's one of us," I tear'd up. Rick & Morgan acted DOWN, and Rick & Michonne bonding over "seeing thangs," gave me the feels. And y'all are right. I think that was the first time Michonne smiled. The whole episode was iconic.
Morgan is a legend, and this episode, "Clear", is a top episode of the entire series. Lenny James is probably, truely , the best actor of the series. By the way guys, both Lenny James and Andrew Lincoln are British actors. Both are so perfect in their acting, and American accents, you'd never know it. Great reaction!
I feel like you guys would enjoy Sons of Anarchy, for some reason. Idk. A lot of reactors avoided it for a while but its been getting more attention recently. One of my favorite shows. Up there with Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and Vikings for me. Either way, I like your group dynamic. Excited to see your reactions to the rest of this series.
@@kimberlywilmoth9184 It's sooo good. People sleep on it for a lot of different reasons. I feel like its a great reaction series though! Glad you enjoyed it. One of my favorite shows. Unfortunately Mayans M.C., the successor show, ended up falling very short. At least IMO. Still worth a watch I suppose. The first few seasons are pretty good.
@@SilentNecrosis Yeah, it was one I was super interested in seeing for the longest time, but I didn't have Hulu. It's even more amazing than I expected it to be...and yeah, it'd be a great reaction series. As for Mayans, I just don't have any interest. I feel like it wouldn't be worth seeing without Jax 🤷♀️
@@kimberlywilmoth9184 I swore I wrote something here, I guess I just never hit reply. I was gonna say, I totally understand feeling that way about not seeing Jax! My sister and I felt the same exact way when we were talking about whether or not we would watch Mayans. I think in the end I just kind of fell in love with that slice of the SoA world and was still interested enough to see the impact that the end of SoA had on everyone else. I figured there were a lot of avenues that they could explore, bringing back characters from SoA, flashbacks, whatever. Anyway. Like you said, SoA totally blows expectations out of the water. There's a lot of negativities surrounding some of the aspects of the show (like how they treat women, the racism, etc) but I believe that stuff just caters really well to the already dark theme. I've been trying to introduce it to everyone I know who likes to watch shows and hasn't seen it yet. 😅
The main reason I wouldn't have stopped for orange backpack guy is if by now someone hasn't learned better than to scream bloody murder for a mile just to get someone's attention, I don't need that kind of ineptitude and liability brought home to me and mine. Sucks to suck.
Keep talking about Shane man , he deserves his respect and trust me people do always talk about him all the way to the end of the show , especially comparing rick to shane
I've always said that one of Shane's biggest problems was that he devolved or adapted to this new world too quickly. He wasn't necessarily wrong in every instance, but he was too quick and too vocal about doing some morally questionable sht, and the rest of the group hadn't gotten even close to that point yet. One of my biggest TWD regrets is that we never got to see this version of Rick interact with Shane.
Dude on the right annoys me, lol. Carl is nowhere near the best character on the show. In fact, he's toward the bottom. Lennie James proves in this episode that he's the best actor. Lennie and Andy are incredible together on screen. Morgan is one of the best characters. Top 2 for me. This episode is a top 5 episode. Easily. Lennie put on an acting masterclass

He busted a nut when Rick Hallucinated Shane at Woodbury attack😭 (not a spoiler patreons ahead)
So he should Shane's character arc plays a massive impact on a lot of the show
