Isabelle's death really killed my hype for this spinoff. Season 1 was good and actually had a good stand-a-lone cast separate from the main series and wasn't too dependent on the main characters. The family dynamic of Daryl, Isabelle, and Laurent was the best, and they just ruined the entire plot/dynamic. This franchise is really mishandled, and the writers keep disappointing
Anyone else kinda board of Daryl? And even carol. I think the walking dead could do with a reboot or just a new story with different characters along with maybe a fresh take through new established showrunners
I totally agree I’d like to them reunite Daryl and Rick and put a definitive end to there story. I’d love to follow a whole new family or so in a different country like maybe in Asia just something totally different!
@@theohuntt to me the only way to revitalize the franchise is to have a culmination event that wraps everyone’s story and kills Negan or he gets the cabin imprisonment for life and Rick must die because the story the original show is not over as long as he lives. Than we tell new stories like the Telltale games.
The walking deads worst mistake was giving all rights to AMC. Fear was such a breath of fresh air and giving gimple all creative liberties or w/e killed that show.
I honestly enjoyed this season, and it's way better than Dead City. But I do think that the writers rushed things. I got the impression that they got scared of doing something big out of Laurent's plotline (I was hoping for something like that book " The girl with all the gifts "), and Genet died too early (I wished there was more scenes of her and Carol, I liked their dynamic). The other " Villains " Are just laughable. Ash is a great addition, but they could have cut that story with the women and worked in developing his partnership with Carol. The season finale pissed me off, though. Codron is my favorite character and they did him dirty. Great video as always, my dude. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on season 3!.
I 100% agree Genet should have survived longer, and Ash is a very solid character I hope we see more of him in the future and yeah your right Codron got done so badly! They almost reversed his character arc at the end then made him run off I hope he survives the trip to England! Thanks for the kind words.
The CRM 😂 they were the first to do it at the very beginning episode of the main show. Also the crew flew a plane in Fear. Not disagreeing with you though, just saying its not like DD is the only TWD show to have shown people flying planes. My biggest concern would definitely be someone sho*ting it out of the sky (like Michonne and Nat did).
Daryl Dixon was promising until they killed off Isabelle. I loved her character and hoped she would come with to the US with Laurent at the end of the show. What are these writers thinking…dropped the ball yet again.
I personally enjoyed this season, with the writers revealing the fate of two more countries (Greenland and Britain), as well as the Caryl reunion. I'm disappointed they killed off Isabelle, Genet, and hilariously introduced a couple more antagonists to also die. Season 3 felt rushed if anyting, should've included longer or more episodes. Hoping Codron returns in S3.
Does anyone else remember in season 1 when Daryl went out of his way to save the one guy who killed that 16 year old boy who was just trying to get home to his family? He strangled him to have an extra walker in his round up and said, "You snooze, you lose." There was something terribly wrong with this, and I was frothing at the mouth to see Daryl wreck this guy. Does anyone have any explanation for this of any kind? It was absolutely BAFFLING😵😵💫😵😵💫😵
The use of Sophia is good, in my opinion she never should’ve died like in the comics. But the use could’ve been so much better, wouldn’t it be better if Carol had her own what if dream sequence about Sophia living on and how she would’ve developed, could’ve been interesting.
Sophia’s death was good for the early seasons of TWD. But then TWD just started handing out plot armor like it was nothing and it just made it have 0 impact. Sophia’s death is what truly solidified that TWD wasn’t scared to have things be dark. Sophia’s death was what truly showed people that this is a series where NOBODY is safe, it doesn’t matter if you’re a child, an old man, or a 20 year old. You are NOT safe in this world, and you can die. Only for them to give us stuff like Rosita falling into an entire herd of walkers and walking out with only a singular bite to her shoulder.
@@Mysteryz-li2pw That scene was a immaculate demonstration of feminism and the length's a mother would go through to save her child. Her rising with only a singular bite mark is an exemplification of how even though she didn't survive that, she proved she loved her child greatly that she would die in order for them to live. Sorry lmao just trying to picture how Gimple sold the explanation of that scene to the actress🤣🤣 we all know Rosita and the baby would've been torn to shreds no matter how much 'adrenaline' she had (especially since they literally showed us a walker slamming Luke to the ground like an episode before this).
The show runners really had the audacity to cuck darly again for the third time like come on !! and wow carol could’ve just said shes looking for her oldest “son” darly and explained to ash that she’s lost 2 children already , great video!
I wouldn’t say amazing but I personally enjoyed it Also it’s really funny to me to make a comment like this on a video where he explains why he doesn’t like it
@@Cobrawolfwyvern Yeah I get that. There were definitely some moments I did not like in season 2 but I don’t think it was that bad of a season and I found enjoyment in it.
Walker: Attempts to bite Carol.

Yeah I agree for me it’s what made season 1 a lot better than season 2. Sad to see her go :( I also think the actress did a great job

Who is willingly flying planes in a zombie apocalypse? How and where the hell do you land?
