In my opinion…I think Beth should’ve survived the whole show (yes I am biased because she is still my favorite character 6 seasons and spin offs later after her death) Her staying around by Maggie’s side would’ve made amazing side stories and watching her toughen up would be amazing! Instead of stabbing Dawn, she either just leaves or straight up kills her for Noah. It would still be out of character, but I feel it could be a potential to make her an actual threat and be able to fight for her friends and her only family left. I think seeing her transition from a suicidal teen, to a bad ass warrior would’ve been 1. good story, and 2. make Maggie’s actions later on in the show maybe make more sense. Even if Beth dies later on, like season 8-11.
imo Abraham dying to Lucille and Glenn living a season or two longer would have been better. Abe straightening his back up to face Negan and make direct eye contact felt like a silent agreement between men that he would die there to protect the others. And then Daryl ruined that because he was a monosyllabic gorilla man at that point in the story (because the writers had no idea what to do with him at that point)
Strongly disagree. Negan's intro should have been terrifying. Glenn or Daryl should have died. If it was just Abraham it wouldn't be so good. But because of his death it was too much. They killed two fan favorites. Abraham was killed just to surprise us with Glenn. So they just wasted him but they could kill him later when he'd gained more weight and importance. Plus Abraham would be so good at The War. And he would diminish depressive mood the show took after the first episods.
@@michaelistoma8356honestly it wouldn’t have been bad if they had Negan kill Abraham and Maggie that way we have a glenn redemption ark that goes phsyco during the war and we have the rick, Daryl, and Glenn trio for the whole show bc all 3 of them survive the whole series. And when rick leaves, Daryl goes and tries to find him and Glenn stays back and protects Alexandria
@walkingdeadfam1756 You know, i've been thinking about it a lot lately. By "a lot" i mean A LOT, i even used ai to rewrite the show from this point changing different details lol. I have some thoughts on it. Maggy's death seems like a great idea in a vacuum. It would push Glenn to the edge. He would become a maniac thirsting for revenge. He would lost himself in it and it would be so cool and tragic at the same time. And it wouldn't evsn be cheating. Cause killing pregnant Maggy would be even worse on the screen even though people didn't like her as much as they loved Glenn. But it doesn't matter because it's Glenn's tragedy. His development is much better then hers. Everyone would be okay and maybe even more shocked. But there are problems. I don't see how it could happen at the lining up. 1. Killing Maggy would have triggered a chain reaction. Everyone would jump on Negan and most likely everyone would have died right there. 2. Negan's goal was to force them to work for him. Killing a sick woman isn't a good way to do it. It's a good way to create revanchism. 3. His goal was to kill a strong one. He did kill strong ones. 4. If Negan killed Maggy, they couldn't make a redemption arc for him. No one would root for him after him killing a sick woman standing on her knees(tbh i don't understand why people root for him even after Glenn but nvm). So! Maggy being lucilled automatically means killing Glenn or Negan or both because Glenn would never let Negan get away with it and one of them would 100% die in a fight. Meaning again - no redemption arc but we already concluded it. If they killed Glenn trying to take his revenge for Maggy, it wouldn't make sense because then they would have to kill Negan anyway. Because he's a baddie and nobody roots for him. So they would just kill two great main characters, the best love couple for nothing, for a completely evil jerk. It's realistic but i don't see them doing it and it doesn't look like a good story. So, Maggy's death means only one thing - Negan's death. Most likely by Glenn or with Glenn surviving the war. And it's kinda cool. But again i don't see him killing her in that situation in the first place. All this means - absolutely different Negan. Absolutely different motivation. Doesn't work. Requires total rewriting. I'm not a fan of Negan's redemption arc in general. Especially how they did it. But on a paper it seems decent and it's canon. It's a pattern break. I still don't buy him as a good guy. Should have died in season 8. BUT! You can handle EVERYTHING if you are a good writer and you have an artistic freedom. Writing is the main reason why it all sucked ass. Not just Glenn. But killing Glenn didn't help them. They couldn't replace him. They made much more mistakes building to Negan intro and with everything after. To smooth the edges at least in this exact part they shouldn't have killed Abraham. Kill just Glenn or Daryl. Show's Glenn was much more popular and imortant than Glenn from comics. So they literally killed off one of the main main characters AND a cool secondary without paying it off. Why? Idk, they are idiots. Glenn was more then enough. But they wanted to gain views even thought they didn't have any problem with it at all being one of the most popular tv show in history in a moment. For me they should have just killed Daryl or Glenn(better Daryl) in the end of season 6 and then making a great season 7. But they chose money. And they lost ratings and then money lol. What an irony.
@@michaelistoma8356it also doesn't make sense for negan to kill Maggie. His picks are not random Glenn was hope and Abraham was a huge ass solder dude.
@@cngotham4111 Agree. It wasn't just evil for the sake of evil, I feel like beating Glenn or Aaron within an inch of their life and leaving him for dead but not necessarily trying to kill him would demonstrate the same point to Darryl, it could make some drama for an episode or two as we see the group scrounging everything they can to save Glenn or Aaron. I would imagine a scene like Telltale where Carver beats the ever-loving-fuck out of Kenny would work well.
In my opinion, it would have been amazing if Carol had died in season 6 instead of Denise. She was already tired of having to kill people, and her death would've been a much better justification for Daryl to leave Alexandria.
I can agree with this. I think her dying at the end of s7 would fuel the All Out War arc. It would be a great full circle for her character to step up against R*pey Davey in her last moments as he is sort of like an Ed 2.0. She sacrifices herself like the goat she would’ve been if they didn’t ruin her.
@ that would be interesting tbf. It might steal the moment away from the other pikes tho since Carl should’ve been alive to see Enid’s head. If a big character like her on a pike then fuck the rest of them she’s the only one I’m paying attention too. Interesting storylines could follow up from that but I don’t think any major character should’ve been piked. Even Rosita could’ve been piked so Gabriel and Eugene would be sad. I consider Carol like the third main character of the series imo so it wouldn’t feel right to me.
Fuck it let Abraham kill him in the final in some badass fight with maybe the help of negan. Abraham plus negan killing beta is believable but maybe in the fight beta fucks up Abraham to the point of blood lost
The lineup is perfect, in my opinion, as it is because it affects almost every member of the group. Rick, Daryl, Maggie, Carl, Michonne, and Carol all get affected by Glenn's death. Sasha, Rosita, and Eugene are affected by Abraham's demise. The only characters to not be all too moved by it would by Gabe, Jesus and Aaron but they're still relatively new characters to the show so the lineup deaths don't need to have that big an impact on them. Morgan, too, but he's already on his own arc. It also ends both character arcs pretty nicely. Killing anyone else such as Daryl would be not only highly problematic but comes across as just shock value. Daryl has loads going on for him at the moment, and killing him would only complicate things more. Especially if both Glenn and Daryl die - two season 1 characters. The ONLY way killing Daryl would work is if Dwight was able to take his place, but knowing how much the fans love Daryl it could never work. Other than that, I agree with most of this list. I would say that Morgan should still leave the show by season 8, then appear again in season 11 as part of the Commonwealth - similar to how he ends up in season 8 of Fear. A man who has found inner peace and has a daughter to take care of - a second chance at fatherhood, which represents the Commonwealth's opportunity for normal life again. Just a thought.
Side characters: Magna dies in s9 (replaces Jesus). Jesus dies s10 (losing a fight to Beta). Jerry dies s10 (dying in that cave). Kelly dies s11 (defending the community in a Reaper attack). Gabriel dies s11 (stabbed by Pope after infiltrating the Reapers). Heath dies s6 (him and Glenn dying after the outpost raid seems poetic so he could replace Denise’s death). Oscar dies s4 (fall of the prison). Beth dies s4 (comic Lori death). Jadis dies s9 (she kidnaps Rick to take him into the CRM, after Rick is saved the CRM just kill her for wasting their time). Sidney dies s8 (fighting off Saviours). Noah dies in s5 (small Alexandrian who gets killed in the hospital arc). Tyreese dies s6 (No Way Out). Sasha dies s3 (Andrea’s death. Toughen up Tyreese). Rosita dies s9 (pikes).
I’ll explain how things would be rewritten for context. As Beth is already dead, Daryl survives on his own until he meets the Claimers and it’s all pretty much the same. I propose that his bottle episode would be a him and Merle episode instead of him and Beth (this would foreshadow a lot of things, such as: the Claimers all being Merle 2.0s and Daryl actually fitting in with that group. Also symbolises the passing on the torch from Merle being his brother to Rick being his brother. This would also show that part of Daryl’s guilt was not being able to avenge his brother but Merle in his subconscious isn’t an asshole for once which would’ve been interesting to see for once. Also adds perspective). After the Termites, the group head to DC and stumble across Aaron. He offers to take them back like in the show but after a flare gun is shot out they realise that his people are in trouble. A couple of Alexandrians (Heath and Eric) and Michonne somehow end up trapped in Grady Memorial Hospital. Noah is part of Alexandria and he’s with Nicholas and Spencer. They first try trap the cops like Tyreese said but they manage to escape and kill Noah while Nicholas runs away like a coward. Glenn kills 2 of them in self defence when they charge at him and Rick kills the other ones before they decide to take the Hospital by force. They kill everyone and free all the hostages before going straight back to Alexandria. They only last for one episode and the focus is barely on them. The Scavengers get killed by the CRM at the end of s8 instead of Simon. Jadis tries and fails to kill Rick at the start of s9 and dies as a result of it. Reaper arc. Gabriel gets trapped by the Reapers and meets Pope. Pope being religious forces Gabriel to stick around so he can be their spiritual leader. No Lia stuff but he basically takes Daryl’s role in infiltrating them. This would be a great final arc for Gabriel bc just as he’s losing connection with God he finds this new group who see themselves as being close to God even after killing ppl. It makes for good irony and maybe we could see Gabriel being slightly jealous of their delusions. He envy’s their closeness to God while also despising their actions. Point is he significantly helps the group deal with the Reapers from the inside and eventually Pope finds out and stabs him. In his dying moments, he says a prayer but not for himself but instead to pray that the group can survive the war. Without him, the Reapers would have swept the floor with the main group since their military training gives them that superior edge. Gabriel weakened them as they let their guard down bc he was a pastor. Also ironic that religion was the downfall of the Reapers as they lose let’s say 5 people and that reduces their numbers down for when they attack Alexandria. Do the Maggie, Elijah and Negan thing but change it to them tracking down Pope and they corner him but Pope annihilates the shit out of them on a 3v1. Negan narrowly escapes this ambush and leaves Maggie and Elijah on the floor to get kidnapped. Pope interacts with the both of them who are tied up but he leaves them alive as he wants them to be the last ones left. He leads the attack at Alexandria and wipes them. The survivors are barely hanging on by a thread and lost a good 80% of all the communities combined (the Whisperers will do a lot more damage in my version as well so there’s not many people still alive to begin with). Every npc and nameable side character who isn’t a part of the main cast get killed off if they haven’t been already. Literally only the relevant people are still alive by this point and there will no longer be any background characters in the now combined community of as the sheer numbers have dropped so low that everyone moved to Alexandria by this point. Also, Kelly gets killed during this raid and this is a hard loss for Connie and it’s a weird twist of fate thing where Yumiko finds her brother and Connie loses her sister. Anyways, the group are on their knees but get rescued by the commonwealth. Mercer is a badass and taking on Reapers without difficulty and eventually Pope and 2 others flee. In between all this, Negan came back for Maggie and Elijah along with Carl and Alden. Carl was the one who took out Jenson the sniper so the group could escape undetected. Elijah can barely walk due to his injuries and some extra shit Pole might’ve did, but he’s on a revenge timing. But the group speak to him and try get him to see reason but Maggie is there not saying a word but just has this cold look on her face. Anyways, Pope and the others get back to their base but it turns out Maggie was waiting for them all night and when morning came she was still there and she walks them down in her iconic scene. Pope is the one whom she kills at the end of that sequence and he just smiles before he dies (for no reason but just bc that’s what villains usually do when they realise they fucked up). He says “your just like me” and continues to threaten her but Maggie quickly stabs him fatally without saying a word and ends the Reaper arc. She brought the Reapers to the group so it’s only right she finishes it and kills Pope who was the last Reaper alive. End of that arc and onto the Commonwealth stuff. Those are my rewrites.
@@PigossiWhisky17 I agree with you in terms of show. I just wish that Andrea would have been her comic character so that’s why I would kill Sasha off early and make Andrea do pretty much what she did in the comics. We wouldn’t have missed Sasha if she died this early since her comic counterpart died way earlier and in a less respectable way. Sasha was cool but it should’ve been Andrea and I’ll die on this hill. Andrea was annoying af in s2 and s3 but obviously it’s my rewrite so I’d change all of that and she’s not acting like a whiny bimbo. Also Tyreese >> Sasha.
I agree on the whole Carl and Henry thing. Enid taking the comic Sofia route then get hit with a huge plot twist. Henry dying was only bad bc he replaced Carl but if Carl is already there then I don’t mind his pike death. Lydia needs to be upset in s10. Probably kill her off too in s10 bc she’s terrible in s11. Have her lead the horde off the bridge as a sacrifice like Carol was going to do but have her fully commit to it instead. For Alden, have him leave with Maggie in s9 and come back with their Meridian group. We don’t see them fall in love as that would just be an insult but they turn up 7 yrs later as a couple. Have him be her moral compass and they live happily ever after with Herschel Jr. In terms of the big death for s11, I think Negan would be perfect ngl. Massive hot take but I think it would be a full circle thing. This would also mean Dead City will never happen which I’m perfectly fine with so here’s my rewrite: Negan is exiled at the end of s10 but he comes back and helps with all the Reaper stuff and all that but the Commonwealth arc is where he will shine. The Commonwealth is relatively the same plot with Sebastian dying similarly and Lance having conflict with Pamela. But Lance takes control and slams Pamela in jail. Not exactly sure how we’d get there but something will lead Lance into going after Negan but Negan has a commonwealth soldier hostage and that’s when he does his little badass Knock knock joke. He becomes a wanted man at this point which would be an interesting narrative to explore. Scrap the whole labour camp shit but have the Commonwealth soldiers eventually find Negan in hiding (there’s hundreds of thousands of people so it’s not impossible for him to have hidden that long but obviously he can’t hide forever). Lance finds him and they do the reverse line up thing but with Lance instead. Negan smiles before facing the death squad but he is saved by the group whom all stand in front of him and they all escape with their lives. Negan and Maggie’s final scene in the main show would still happen but I’d push it forward to like mid point. They have that same conversation but as Maggie walks away and Negan is looking at rocks or whatever, Herschel Jr just randomly shows up and shoots him. Look at Nick’s death from fear and it’s basically that. Maggie tries to actually save Negan but Negan stops her and smiles. He’s happy bc he hopes to see Lucille again and that’s the end of his character arc. It would be a great death bc we spent so long of wanting to see him dead by s7-8 but when his character finally concludes it doesn’t hit the same. Also it’s like repeating the cycle of trauma as Herschel Jr will feel pretty messed up for making that decision and it would happen just after Maggie made her peace with Negan just to have the moment spoiled. And plus, Sebastian killed Rick in the comics so it would keep the same sort of theme but make it better and original.
If we kill Daryl and Glenn in the lineup then I’d keep Beth alive and just have 5x8 be just Dawn dying or have no deaths Build Beth and Daryl’s relationship and she does have a connection with Glenn too, so give Beth the Sasha death in this timeline! Abraham can die sometime in season 8
I like how honest you were with asking us to subscribe. It’s funny when people say that specific line, too. “Oh, it says: 90% of people aren’t subscribed… etc, etc.” But your channel is on the rise, I love these videos, plus, what’s the point in not subscribing? Keep up the videos. Love the candid-one-take style. Makes it more personal and engaging. Very good work.
In my honest opinion having Daryl and carol die doesn’t make much sense. It would kinda ruin there arcs. I would have Andrea, Merle, or dale make the lineup
Daryl has an arc? I feel like he lost most of his personality after Meryl dies and then nothing really crazy happens to him after Beth's death. And meh Carol can die she was pretty annoying character in the whisper arc
Nobody important, really died in the comic prison attack? Rick's right-hand man, herschel, Billy, and yeah, the other characters that died weren't much of characters anyways, but at least they had names, and we knew them. Unlike some random, no name character that died in the background. Feels like all the main characters just survived conveniently, and they all ran off in different directions. At least in the comics, people were dying. Left and right. And it felt more chaotic and realistic and, of course, Judith dying was also more realistic than them all, just conveniently getting away.
i personally dont feel like the grimes family should get a happy ending where everyone lives, feels unfair just because Rick is the main protagonist. Someone important in that family should die either at the end of season 11 or TOWL.
I get that but tbh if Carl didn't die they didn't need RJ. I feel like they only created him to have someone that was biologically related to Rick alive so tbh RJ could be written out and it would change nothing
Also realistically i think it works from a narrative standpoint for Rick to die in s9 when he was written out, but Magnus admits his bias is the only thing influencing him to place him in the "survives" category (I'd be the same tbh but i understand people who think he should've died)
I feel like Hershel and Glenn have the most satisfying ends on the show. Glenn, being a character who died a murderer after the outpost. Who died never knowing his son. Who died in the middle of a weird limbo between having nothing to do, and having opportunities for the future. Glenn was definitely a tragic end. A character who went through so many changes, yet still had so much opportunity. Hershel being a well rounded off character and a character who had an amazing arc and was the PERFECT character to kill off in this situation, as no other character would come close to the impact his death had there. Absolutely perfect and tragic ending to a character with a heart of gold. I would have never killed Glenn or Hershel any other way. However Carl needed to stay alive until the end, and controversial opinion but Judith and Lori should have gotten their comic book death. As dark as it is, it would have been so much of a harder hit to Rick, and definitely would have been so much more of a reason to hate the Governor. Carl deserved better- and no matter what I’m livid they never let him go on to take the torch from Rick. We missed out on SO much from Carl because of his cut off.
I was happy to hear that u weren’t killing ab of in the bay scene but making him commit suicide dosent fit his character at all. Deffo the worst way to kill him off
I feel like Laura dying in season 10 was fine, but I just wish they gave her more of a role. TWD has always been awful about making it look like they were about to give a character a bigger role and then just killing them. It would have been cool if we got to see why she was on the Alexandria council. I agree it would have been a much better death if she died in the hilltop war tho
My Personal Opinion 1. Tyreese should have survived until season 7 by the hands of Negan instead of Abraham 2. Abraham should have died in All Out War in Season 8 3. T-Dog should have died later on in season 3 possibly getting Oscar's death scene 4. Gareth and the Termites should have lasted a little bit longer in Season 5 5. Noah should have survived for at least 2 to 3 seasons 6. Carl, "Jesus", Morales, Siddiq and Rosita should have never been killed off
Abraham and Daryl would be the best two characters to kill off in the lineup realistically though, it should've just been Abraham. Daryl punching Negan was out of character, stupid, and impossible when you consider his shoulder wound. I mean why would Daryl punch Negan for killing Abraham when Daryl and Abraham hardly spoke? people would say it's because Negan was taunting Rosita. But Daryl also barely spoke to Rosita until recently. And the few times they did, Daryl seemed annoyed by her and the two didn't really get along well. Why would Daryl even bother? many people would argue it should've just been Glenn who died and killing Abraham was a cheap move to make the audience not expect for Glenn to die. And i disagree. Before the season began, pretty much everyone knew it was going to be those two characters. And Negan choosing Abraham is very smart considering the fact that Abe is the biggest, bravest, and more formidable member of the group. He even sat up to Negan when Negan approached the man during the lineup. I know they had to give us some emotional impact and make the cliffhanger "worth it." But it wasn't. i think they shouldn't have been a cliffhanger at all. I think Negan shouldve clearly killed Abe at the end of season 6 and then left the scene like the way he did in when he killed Glenn in the comics. It would've been better. And maybe if they HAVE to have Daryl punch Negan, they could end it right there and let THAT be a cliffhanger. Most people would actually suspect either Glenn or Daryl to die at that moment. But instead of doing that, they could have Negan try to force Rick to chop off Carl's arm. Instead of Negan laughing at Rick, Negan should have his men hold Rick down and then Negan would chop Rick's hand off. Now that would've been good and it would've made Daryl punching Negan and actually useful plot point. It would make Negan much scarier.
I have personally always felt like it should have been Beth who died at the line up instead of Glenn. However, I also feel like Glenn’s death was necessary so idk how else he could have died without it feeling unnecessary so yk
It’d be cool to see this for the comics, encase there are any characters you’d have liked to see stick around longer. Like I always wanted Alice to stick around longer.
Tbh i really think that Lori should’ve at least survived till season 5 she definitely deserved more time since she survived way longer in the comic book
Not at all, the only reason that they killed Dale was because the actor requested his character to be killed off because he was upset that they had fired Frank Darabont
@@JackAttackW Again. Yes that's true. But if they actor didn't want to leave then they were gonna kill off Hershel but since the actor wanted to leave, they choose against it
@@JackAttackW It was revealed in Talking dead. "It was revealed that Hershel was initially scripted to be killed by Randall in the episode "Better Angels" during Randall's escape. However, the producers decided to allow the character to live so that they could explore the dramatic potential of losing his farm" But since Dale's actor asked to be killed off, Hershel was spared from the original plan.
I think this is very controversial, but I disagree with you on Andrea. She should’ve lived like her Comic Book counterpart, and her character would’ve evolved the most of everyone since season 3 because she did many mistakes.
Couple things I would've done different for this survival series - Having Carl and Sofia live up to season 9 for the 6 yr jump and somehow kill off Sofia then and Carl meeting Lydia shortly after when the Whisperers arc comes in. - If Sophia lived on farther then had Carol killed during hospital arc instead of Beth. - For the final episode ending instead of Rosita I would do Daryl or Negan but strongly thinking Daryl as he remembers the loss of Carol several seasons back. - Also a love story with Eugene and Rosita after Abrahams death on the spot and Rosita struggling between Spencer and Eugene. - I think I'd have Rick kill Beta instead of Daryl and Negan if Ricks there for Whisperers arc. - Lori dies in Hershels place by governors hands when the prison is done. - For the lineup I would've had Maggie,Abraham,& Aaron as Negans victims - Henry as a main character to a spinoff instead of a short period of time in original series - Glenn killed in whisperers arc instead of saviors arc (By Alpha or Beta) - It be way more intense if Rick were killed by governor Miltons shot instead of Judith
Dale is literally the turning point within the group I always felt like Hershel was the heart nd Dale was the level headed keepin us above Changin nd all nd its like after tht they turned primal almost acting on instinct
Dale should have stuck around and been a Negan death alongside Abraham, which saves Glenn’s death for a season 8 death which replaces carls death. Daryl’s death wouldn’t make sense like ever. Especially with Leah’s story line and the relationship that he builds with so many of the characters, (Rick, Carol, Judith, Can’t remember the deaf girls name but her)
You should rank seasons but in terms of Rick's arc in that season (obv this would be personal preference but i'd love to hear your thoughts cause i think Rick is great every season)
@castleearp6992 you say this probably because you overate him. He lost so much personality now he's just a badass who grunts and mumbles half the time lol. I don't hate daryl and I do like the character obviously not one of my favorites
@@cngotham4111 He's not even in my top ten favorite walking dead characters but okay sure kiddo. He is still a great character that has a lot of personality but I guess kiddos wouldn't see it, now go back to Looney tunes and leave this shows to True fans 😊
The Pike scene from season 9 wasn’t as impactful as it should have been. Even the comics in my opinion, it wasn’t that great. I wish they kept Beth, Merle, and Bob for that scene. Add Tara, Enid and Henry, that would have been top tier
Abraham having Sashas death makes so much sense and afull circle mokent. Ugene meets a hopeless suicidal Abraham and talks about complete bullshit to keep himself and abraham alive and then at the end Abraham committes suicide cause he believes in the group to fight back
Love your videos but this is a L list you have literally for season 1 - 6 put everyone who died in them seasons in the seasons not changing anything all of the best characters died by the time we get to season 7 also this tier list should just be about which season/time a character should have died not how and how it would change other deaths also having t dog and axel still die in season 3 is a crime against the walking dead universe they deserved so much more and why is there so many big deaths in season 7 and not season 8 the actual war season . quite disappointed with this list especially because this is a really good idea
Yeah because I think the earlier seasons are pretty solid. T-Dog and Axel were never big characters they were never going to be big character... Also I prefer Oscar. I said keep him around till season 4.
Carl Grimes, Judith Grimes, Hershel Rhee, Sophia Peletier, Mika Samuels, Henry Sutton, Adam Sutton, Socorro ‘Coco’ Espinosa, Lydia, Gracie and Enid should survive honestly. If i had to remove three it would be Mika, Henry and Enid. For the adults, Rick Grimes, Michonne Hawthorne, Daryl Dixon, Negan Smith, Rosita Espinosa, Ezekiel Sutton, Gabriel Stokes, Michael Mercer, Beth Greene, Deanna Monroe, Harlan Carson, Sasha Williams, Yumiko ‘Miko’ Okumura, Paul ‘Jesus’ Rovia, Juanita ‘Princess’ Sanchez, Laura, Alden, Siddiq, Aaron, Oscar, Magna, Connie, Dwight, Heath, Cyndie, Frost and Kal.
I think beth surviving and continuing daryls legacy after his death at the lineup would be fire It makes sense because daryl was training beth so her surviving the hostpital and daryl passing over the crossbow to her imo would be great
Dale - definitely season 5. Give Bob more time to develop his character and kill him later, maybe, one of the victims of the war with Negan, he had more potentital, and Dale, by that time, would have had way more interesting arcs and would be a complete character, beloved by people (even as is he is pretty beloved), and you can kill him without feeling like it's a lost potential. Predictable for comics readers? Maybe. But it would have been a better written story, way more important, than shock from death. Daryl - if we're killing him, I think, it should be later than line up. Complete his arc when he was captured by Negan and got out, let him see how Negan has changed and those scenes when somewhat worked together, I think those parts had a good idea, maybe it was stretched a bit too much in the show, but I wouldn't remove it completely. However, at some point Daryl is not really needed... so, can die later, just make sure it's a heroic death that leads group to an important archievement and not a random bite or bullet. Jesus - when he was introduced, I thought he's going to survive until the end, lol. He has the vibe of the main character. If I was rewritting TWD, I'd give him a bigger role and if Rick exits, he would replace Rick as the main guy of the show. He could have done it. Heath - should have rejoined the group and stayed alive until the end. I like your idea for Abraham. For Tara too. Noah should have had more time to develop. T-Dog is a meme, but they could have keeped him around and let him complete his Merle arc, as it's the thing that he is remembered for the most, their interactions would be very interesting, wasted potential. After that, he could die in one of the major conflicts, in a heroic manner, protecting someone. Glenn should not kill Nicholas, that's not something I can accept. It goes against everything I know about him. Dumpster scene should have not been made the way it is, although they can keep Nick ending his life out of panic and saying Thank you, just don't trick the audience with fake Glenn death. Andrea should have survived, but with the new characters it's tricky to say what would be her role. Beth should have died soonish, as her arc was complete, just make it at least a bit later so it doesn't feel like her story is devalued. Negan should die in a spin-off. That, btw, would make more people interested in watching that spin-off. Carl - obviously alive until the end. They pissed me off so much by killing him, and then they killed Siddiq to devalue Carl's death further? WTF? If they killed Carl, Siddiq and Henry had to survive until the end, for the sake of story. They killed them both and that also pissed me off. Either Carl should live, or Siddiq and Henry. You can't kill all 3.
Main characters: Carol dies s7 (her being the big Sasha death would be extremely sad but poetic. It would make the anticipation to fight Negan even bigger). Morgan survives (love Morgan. Shouldn’t have touched fear but it would have been so cool if Morgan pulled up in s11 with his daughter and we see his character more grounded and complete. All the shit they did in fear wouldn’t have even been necessary bc they should’ve just made him return and had his story wrapped then). Daryl survives (he’s the main man post Rick. Show exclusive and one of the goats. I originally thought Sebastian killing him was an option but I think the Negan death is better). Carl survives (no comment). Rick dies s9 (same death but finale instead. He is still around in the time jump and he can be interacting with Alpha throughout the season but him leaving imo actually helped some things. His death allows the spotlight for other characters so I low-key don’t mind it). Michonne dies s10 (saving the children with Earl bc she failed to protect her actual child. Character growth). Andrea survives (can’t kill her too at this point so literally by elimination she has to survive). Ezekiel survives (happy killing him in the pikes but if Michonne has to die then he should just be the last surviving well known character from the Kingdom. Being the Governor of the commonwealth would’ve worked if only they gave him more of a reason to attract votes. When all the brokies were locked outside the gate, Ezekiel opens it and let’s everyone in. This way he can gain respect from all the poor people and maybe that could influence why he gets to become Governor. Or him and Mercer can swap roles and it would still be a good ending for him bc at least he has some power). Maggie survives (yh). Negan? (Honestly, if the show spiced things up a bit and killed Negan I wouldn’t of been mad. It would be so well done on the writers end for us to go from desperately waiting for Negan to be bludgeoned to death to us actually feeling sad when it finally happens due to the character progression. Genius writing. Him surviving is ok but hot take they should’ve taken that risk. Have Herschel Jr step up and do it as cliche as it sounds).
I agree with Gabriel so hard!! In the show version of the story he should have survived and I'm happy he did. But in my version i would of had the reaper story be replaced with Gabriel going down a dark villain path and Rosita would be the one who had to put him down. I think that would have been a fucking amazing storyline.
I think they wasted Spenser. His death was a cheap shock value one. I think he should have lived for one more season and his character would have went either full on savior or he would have lightened up a bit and realized that Rick was right.
20:13 I will say might make multiple comments but Eugene over Gabriel is funny cuz without Gabriel more than likely Eugene never turns back to Rick side. Where Gabriel showed more growth than Eugene at that time wasn’t until the time skip in season 9 where Eugene really flourished
Daryl can't die I believe they let him live for so long and get a spinoff due to him not being a comic character but a AMC TWD Universe only character.
Have you seen the games?, if not, you should, because it gives a lot more characters to work with. Update after watching: help keeping Ron to be Carl's boyfriend is such a good concept, tbf Carl gives major bisexual vibes, so I could see it
You say you’d kill off Daryl in season 7 but then the reaper and lead story arc makes no sense then. Leah would never meet Daryl and would never fall in love, Daryl would not become a solider at the commonwealth and you say could potentially kill Gabriel and more
I personally disagree with most of these, but the ranking i most disagree with is with Beth's, cause i hated how she died just when her character was developing and getting more interesting and i feel like she should've lived to Season 9 where she becomes a pike death. So they could flesh out her character more
Cause she's honestly such a realistic character and she's one of the few characters that have such interesting character types, but i don't know could just be bias, what do y'all think?? 😜😜
My only question is why does everything gotta be put into tier list format nowadays? Just make a transition slide to the next character and explain away. So much simpler and fun to listen to that way.
I think Merle just was cut off wayy to early, when you finally start to like him as a character and that´s why he should have been kept arond for way longer, beside the fact that he litteraly dies after just having returned which is very stupid and rash decision, also Michael Rooker was first told he was going to be for longer and then he was quickly written off purely becouse of not wanting to pay him further.. Yeah and that´s just bad. And i don´t think michonne wouldn´t want to live with him, esspecialy when you see in his last episode that they are cool with each other, Glenn and Maggie would square out later down the line, Merle never realy did anything litteral to them beside the fact he didn´t even know how will Governor negotiate with Maggie and not being able to live off with Merle just becouse he beat Glenn is very big stretch (he just wanted Glenn to feel how is it being left alone handcuffed to the roof and having to survive with cut off hand in city surrounded by walkers) Merle was even respecting ppl in group more he was in, so yeah.
Perso, je me débrouillais pour conserver les meilleurs comédiens jusqu'au bout. Donc je gardais Carol, Rick, Negan, Simon, Shane, Aaron, Andrea, Dog...
Wish I could watch this video, still haven’t finished the show…I’m on the episode in a later season where there in the library getting books for Judith to read or somewhere around there….God this show fell off!
This is the most convoluted thing I have ever seen lol. Sorry, normally enjoy stuff, but nearly 2 hours of nonsensical back and forth seems like a waste of time. Tier lists are like 20 items usually for a reason.
This show is the worst crap I’ve ever seen , mogan every life matters then he’s chocking out some guy on his side, Rick could have just shot negan in the savour camp , Jesus don’t kill the guy in the middle of a battle nearly gets killed a priest who just heard Gregory decides with negan and he saves him and gets double crossed … don’t these idiots every learn nothing.
"I'm not going to write them off" *proceeds to come up with scenarios to kill off each character*
Some characters I think shouldn't have been in the show to begin with, that's what I meant by "write them off"
In my opinion…I think Beth should’ve survived the whole show (yes I am biased because she is still my favorite character 6 seasons and spin offs later after her death) Her staying around by Maggie’s side would’ve made amazing side stories and watching her toughen up would be amazing! Even if Beth dies later on, like season 8-11.
this would be interesting. Next tier list should be whether the characters should have their own spinoff shows. Even if they're dead
Welp the tier list is a thing now! He just uploaded
imo Abraham dying to Lucille and Glenn living a season or two longer would have been better.
NO NO NOOO
I can agree with this. I think her dying at the end of s7 would fuel the All Out War arc. It would be a great full circle for her character to step up against R*pey Davey in her last moments as he is sort of like an Ed 2.0. She sacrifices herself like the goat she would’ve been if they didn’t ruin her.
I'm really glad that didn't happen but from a critical and narrative perspective it would a made more sense that way
@@HenzoW-cf3mh Honestly. Kill Carol in the pikes and have a father son moent with Ezekiel and Henry loosing the woman most important to them.
Dale was supposed to live much longer. They did Frank Darabont dirty
And Hershel was gonna be the season 2 death
@@dillydrawsyou silly kid
@@JackAttackW What? They mentioned how they wanted a big death and it was gonna be Hershal before Dale choose to leave the show
@@dillydraws Shane always was the Season 2 death.
@@OUltra1551 And Sophia and originally Hershel but was changed.
I think Abraham should have survived into the Whisperer arc so HE could be the one who fights Beta and throws him down the elevator shaft
Fuck it let Abraham kill him in the final in some badass fight with maybe the help of negan. Abraham plus negan killing beta is believable but maybe in the fight beta fucks up Abraham to the point of blood lost
yea
Side characters:
Magna dies in s9 (replaces Jesus).
Those are my rewrites.
even the first off your list and i wouldn't watch even further
definitly a funny list but i would not wanted that even a bit
@ tell me what’s wrong with the list.
Sasha >>> Andrea
If we kill Daryl and Glenn in the lineup then I’d keep Beth alive and just have 5x8 be just Dawn dying or have no deaths
Build Beth and Daryl’s relationship and she does have a connection with Glenn too, so give Beth the Sasha death in this timeline! Abraham can die sometime in season 8
I like how honest you were with asking us to subscribe. It’s funny when people say that specific line, too. “Oh, it says: 90% of people aren’t subscribed… etc, etc.”
But your channel is on the rise, I love these videos, plus, what’s the point in not subscribing?
Keep up the videos. Love the candid-one-take style. Makes it more personal and engaging. Very good work.
In my honest opinion having Daryl and carol die doesn’t make much sense. It would kinda ruin there arcs. I would have Andrea, Merle, or dale make the lineup
Not if you change their arcs slightly lol.
I’d 100% want to watch a video of you creating your own version of The Walking Dead from Season 1-Whatever season you get to (maybe you go past 11)
i personally dont feel like the grimes family should get a happy ending where everyone lives, feels unfair just because Rick is the main protagonist. Someone important in that family should die either at the end of season 11 or TOWL.
I get that but tbh if Carl didn't die they didn't need RJ. I feel like they only created him to have someone that was biologically related to Rick alive so tbh RJ could be written out and it would change nothing
@ either way if RJ was written out of the show with Carl being alive then they still wouldn’t have had someone important to that family die.
@@swagytonyy No, you're right. I suppose my point though was that having 2 kids that survive in the apocalypse is slightly more realistic than 3 lmao
Also realistically i think it works from a narrative standpoint for Rick to die in s9 when he was written out, but Magnus admits his bias is the only thing influencing him to place him in the "survives" category (I'd be the same tbh but i understand people who think he should've died)
Lori: Am I a joke to you?
Cool video! I think you should do a full rewrite of the whole series from s1-s11 even if some of the changes in the earlier seasons are minor
Oh god no, that would take me literal years. I wouldn't want to half-arse it.
I’m sure you’ll do fine, you get prep time and plot armor anyway love your videos keep them up. Hope you get better soon much love ❤
The switch up on shumpert is crazyyyyyy
My Personal Opinion
1. Tyreese should have survived until season 7 by the hands of Negan instead of Abraham
2. Abraham should have died in All Out War in Season 8
3. T-Dog should have died later on in season 3 possibly getting Oscar's death scene
4. Gareth and the Termites should have lasted a little bit longer in Season 5
5. Noah should have survived for at least 2 to 3 seasons
6. Carl, "Jesus", Morales, Siddiq and Rosita should have never been killed off
Abraham and Daryl would be the best two characters to kill off in the lineup
realistically though, it should've just been Abraham.
He punched him because he was trying to force Rosita to look at the bat after killing Abraham
I agree with you about Carl. I feel like he got cut off before he reached his full potential. I would have loved to see him survive. (My opinion)
I don’t think I’ve ever heard a British person stutter before until now
So much potential great story left with Dwight with negan still being around
I have personally always felt like it should have been Beth who died at the line up instead of Glenn. However, I also feel like Glenn’s death was necessary so idk how else he could have died without it feeling unnecessary so yk
I really like your ideas for the All out War and Whisperer War Arcs. They would have needed you in the story writing team 👀
It’d be cool to see this for the comics, encase there are any characters you’d have liked to see stick around longer. Like I always wanted Alice to stick around longer.
Tbh i really think that Lori should’ve at least survived till season 5 she definitely deserved more time since she survived way longer in the comic book
If Dale didn't die, they would've killed off Hershel in season 2
Not at all, the only reason that they killed Dale was because the actor requested his character to be killed off because he was upset that they had fired Frank Darabont
@@JackAttackW Again. Yes that's true. But if they actor didn't want to leave then they were gonna kill off Hershel but since the actor wanted to leave, they choose against it
@ and what’s your source?
@@JackAttackW It was revealed in Talking dead.
"It was revealed that Hershel was initially scripted to be killed by Randall in the episode "Better Angels" during Randall's escape. However, the producers decided to allow the character to live so that they could explore the dramatic potential of losing his farm" But since Dale's actor asked to be killed off, Hershel was spared from the original plan.
Then good thing dale died lol
Kelly was in high school when the apocalypse started and Carl was around 10 when it started
He'd be 20/21 in season 9 if he lived. Kelly is like 24-28. So its not that big of an age gap.
I honestly like even tho I love glenn so much I still kinda wish they gave Abe his comic death in 6x14 and then Glenn’s comic death in 7x1
Heath also fs could have been in world beyond. Idk could have been fun to see him even as a test subject.
I think this is very controversial, but I disagree with you on Andrea. She should’ve lived like her Comic Book counterpart, and her character would’ve evolved the most of everyone since season 3 because she did many mistakes.
Couple things I would've done different for this survival series
- Having Carl and Sofia live up to season 9 for the 6 yr jump and somehow kill off Sofia then and Carl meeting Lydia shortly after when the Whisperers arc comes in.
- For the lineup I would've had Maggie,Abraham,& Aaron as Negans victims
- Henry as a main character to a spinoff instead of a short period of time in original series
- Glenn killed in whisperers arc instead of saviors arc (By Alpha or Beta)
- It be way more intense if Rick were killed by governor Miltons shot instead of Judith
Rick, Daryl, Carol, Maggie, Judith, Carl, Morgan, Eugene, Tyrese, RJ. Aaron, Dwight would be my top characters to survive.
Yes your right, when season 3 was airing, the comics were basically on the All Out War storyline
im 12 minutes in and im already loving the production and creation of this video
Without Daryl there wouldn't be a walking dead series, Daryl and Rick carry the show so much.
I mean and negan but yea that's true but I find daryl overated so I'd be fine him dying lol
@cngotham4111 Na, he overrated by few and loved by many more. Great character 👏😁👍
@castleearp6992 Also, I barley watch looney tunes when I was a kid . I certainly wouldn't go back and watch it now, lol.
The Pike scene from season 9 wasn’t as impactful as it should have been. Even the comics in my opinion, it wasn’t that great. I wish they kept Beth, Merle, and Bob for that scene. Add Tara, Enid and Henry, that would have been top tier
Really liking these tier list videos!! Keep it up!
What about a tierlist about which characters would be the ideal terminus butcher victims?
fear would be so different if morgan died in season 8, no clue if i would like it more or not because he made the show what it was
Abraham having Sashas death makes so much sense and afull circle mokent.
Would you be able to beat Tugg Speedman in a fight?
With prep time.
I think beth surviving and continuing daryls legacy after his death at the lineup would be fire
It makes sense because daryl was training beth so her surviving the hostpital and daryl passing over the crossbow to her imo would be great
Rick was the goat. I miss being a kid watching the new episode every week
Do a tier list about which walking dead character you should trust on your team or who is suitable
Main characters:
Carol dies s7 (her being the big Sasha death would be extremely sad but poetic.
Have Herschel Jr step up and do it as cliche as it sounds).
i think you should 100% do the versus tier list
Carl deserved a spin off imo
Dale should have died saving Andrea in s3 and move Loris death/ Judith's birth up to s4 during the attack.
Daryl can't die I believe they let him live for so long and get a spinoff due to him not being a comic character but a AMC TWD Universe only character.
Daryl, Carol And Sophia Should Be in Survives List And Disagree With Some OF The other Lists.
The one thing I disagree with on this list is dog. They already killed an animal(shiva) so why would they kill off the ONLY other animal
Have you seen the games?, if not, you should, because it gives a lot more characters to work with. Update after watching: help keeping Ron to be Carl's boyfriend is such a good concept, tbf Carl gives major bisexual vibes, so I could see it
ay you recommended this
@ToasterWithin yeppers
Killing off daryl and glenn 💀💀 if you in charge the franchise would be even more dead
In actually ok with bi Carl🤷🏿♂️ weirder things have happened
You say you’d kill off Daryl in season 7 but then the reaper and lead story arc makes no sense then. Leah would never meet Daryl and would never fall in love, Daryl would not become a solider at the commonwealth and you say could potentially kill Gabriel and more
Yeah in an ideal world we don’t do the reaper story arc its bad Orrr if you wanna do it just scrap Leah and that whole element
Disagree but to each their own
I think Merle just was cut off wayy to early, when you finally start to like him as a character and that´s why he should have been kept arond for way longer, beside the fact that he litteraly dies after just having returned which is very stupid and rash decision, also Michael Rooker was first told he was going to be for longer and then he was quickly written off purely becouse of not wanting to pay him further..
Tara is goat
She should’ve survived
Doooont care.. where’s Rick?
Imagine if Sasha killed Tyrese accidentally by stabbing him when she fought those walkers and instead of cutting Abraham she stabs Tyrese
Bud what
@@zReyds that would fix two problems in one
Bro you’re genuinely so funny when you rant on some shit hahah especially bout Ezekiel
Maggie surviving? *NO*
Bro i haven't watched spinoffs yet. Is there any spoilers in this video?
A few yeah hold off on watching
I love Jeffrey but Negan should have died in season 8
Seeing Daryl at season 7 and not survives made me click of this vid with disappointment 😮
Daryl got stale. He should have died.
Whaaat judth>henry. Henry was just a watered down carl

Michonne should have died before she joined
Why?

Maggie is top 3-6 all time
I have a question can u name every character in that tier list 😂
Yes
TYREESE SHOULD HAVE LIVED
Hell na…
Tara should have survived.
Where’s Daryl
Wish I could watch this video, still haven’t finished the show…I’m on the episode in a later season where there in the library getting books for Judith to read or somewhere around there….God this show fell off!
Hi, this was intressting. Would be nice if u of ftwd also if u seen the spinoff
Do the season 11 rewrite!
Working on it
Daryl is not death
This is the most convoluted thing I have ever seen lol.
Sorry, normally enjoy stuff, but nearly 2 hours of nonsensical back and forth seems like a waste of time. Tier lists are like 20 items usually for a reason.
For me, it was a good way to remember how each character died, lol. Haven't watched TWD in a while.
This show is the worst crap I’ve ever seen , mogan every life matters then he’s chocking out some guy on his side, Rick could have just shot negan in the savour camp , Jesus don’t kill the guy in the middle of a battle nearly gets killed a priest who just heard Gregory decides with negan and he saves him and gets double crossed … don’t these idiots every learn nothing.
skipped to see where you put dog, disliked and left !
Dale was a terrible character one of the worst in twd
NOT GONNA LIE U HAVE SOME HORRIBLE TAKES
