But from a gut health perspective (research about microbiome) non-veg is not good. So reducing non-veg intake as much possible is better. Coz microbiome determines the overall well-being of our physical and mental health. Just my 2 cents.
Not necessarily. Recent times all over the fitness industry it’s like Fiber Fiber Fiber. Focusing on gut health. Not sure what’s the hype all about.. but I am living with almost zero Fiber. So far very good.

I've reduced 25Kgs in a span of 12 months by following intermittent fasting (2 meals a day and my diet includes non-veg but I plan for a very balanced meal - low carbs, good amount of vegetables, Egg / chicken and other protein sources)

Food depends on food geography, if we can’t compare our food with our old generation or villagers sort of food than we can’t compare our food style with Eskimo food type with no carb as they live in harsh sub zero temperatures where they need protein rich.
