After surviving the first shock of you attacking the first sprue with a pair of nail scissors, it came out as a very nice cockpit and some things to learn along the way. Much appreciated. But man, do your models deserve a decent sprue cutter!
The quality of WNW kits never surprises and this one looks terrific. Great start to this build....great looking cockpit, you've done a great job so it's going to be another fantastic FCM build series in the making. You must be enjoying the kit :)
Greetings my friend, that cockpit looks absolutely stunning, you have made a great start to this build and I know it will be a grest finish when completed, I still kick myself for not getting one of their kits when they were available, looking forward to the next update, bedt best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia
Thank you so much, for the comment, you still can find some kits for cheap, almost for the original price, just try to search in different on-line stores, not just on ebay
Delighted to see you've begun building the Halberstadt. I'm wondering if you dry fit the cockpit frame in the fuselage after you've completed the interior detailing just to make sure that everything is lined up perfectly.
Wow Mark, cool of you - and we Halberstadt kit owners will benefit! I only have the late as well as the Duellists boxings, but likely find this one at a deal someday...cheers
So the pilot sits on a huge fuel tank - talk about being in the hotseat! 😮 Always lovely to see a Wingnut Wings kit go together. 😍
Yeah, it's like to seat on a gunpowder barrel

Thanks, yeah on my previous videos, I even used nail clippers lol, I do have sprue cutter, but some time it's very hard to use them on small details.
Nice start - appreciate you showing all aspects of the build so anyone will know what areas to give attention to.
Thanks!
That cockpit looks nice with that woodgrain applied.Great Gift from Montana Mark 💥👍💥
Thank you Dave, indeed it's a great gift!!
Great start to 2024! Lovely build, many thanks

Kkkkkkkkkkkk. I bought my Halberstadt yestarday. CII late.
I'm watching. Great job with cockpit
Thanks, there are not a lot of differences between early and late model, so it's pretty much the same kit
