  • In this video, I'm going to assemble and paint the cockpit of my new project - 1/32 AEG G.IV Early version from Wingnut Wings .
Building and painting a cockpit is a great way to add detail to your model and make it look more realistic. In this video, I'll show you how to assemble the cockpit and then paint it.
I hope you enjoy the video and please feel free to leave any feedback you have!

That's going to be a fairly large model. Looking forward to the build.

Greetings my friend, that will be a beat of a aircraft when completed, the cockpiy is looking fantastic, it's still a miracle that some of these huge WWI actually got off the ground, good luck with the next stage of the build, looking forward to the next update, best regards from Australia, Les

Thanks Les, I don't know If I would ever fly on this beast, especially when you need to seat on a gas tank, knowing that AA guns and fighters will shoot at you and you do not have any parachute

I've been so looking forward to another WNW build and you aced it with the AEG....what a monster of a plane! It will look great among the others that you've built so far. Top job and a terrific start, Oleg. This same model is in my stash and now I have the perfect example of how it's done so will be closely following this series....can't wait for the next instalment :)

Nice detailed cockpit. WNW surely made top kits. The pilot seat looks a bit like a luxurious library seat 😅 great update 💥👍💥

Hi Oleg. I am delighted to see that you have begun your AEG GIV build. I know it will be a beautiful model, and I am going to enjoy watching your progress. I totally agree with your comments about the good mug of coffee before beginning a project, especially in Flying Circus Models mug! Stay tuned for my next update of the SE5a. 😉 ☕️

Great first part there sir, thank you. I have this in my stash, but I cannot even consider starting an irreplaceable WNW kit!!

Thanks Nigel, I think the same, if you build it - you can't buy the new one any more. But I do not see any point of saving them for the future (unless you keep them as investment and want to sell for hundreds of thousands $ :-) )

Oleg, a great start to your new build. I can only be jealous because the Wingnut Wings kit is very difficult to find in Europe and if the kit is available, it is too expensive. I’ll probably be going for its smaller cousin the 1/72 Roden Gotha. It would be nice if you could build the Roden Gotha too 🤩. Also thank you for your walk around video with explanations!

Thank you, yes WnW models are super expensive and rear now, I was lucky to but some of them for a decent prices. I do have Gotha n 1/32, also from WnW, but it's G.1. Roden ones are too small for me now, it will be hard to build 1/72 after 1/32 )))

Hi awsome build i love it.
I have just purchased the csm nieuport.
    Just a couple questions.
What type of thread and size do you use for rigging?.
    And
What size copper wire do u use for the anchor points.
    Cheers for any feedback

Thanks and good luck with your Nieuport, for rigging right I use EZline elastic thread, because it's elastic - the diameter may vary. Also, I used to use a beading thread, that was 0.2mm, you can check my How to video

Was there any aftermarket photo etch sets for this model?
