Yep, I had a gap with the wheel hub on the propeller shaft as well. I could not figure out how I had done that. Mine looked just like yours. Not sure why or how. Followed the instructions to the letter. Hmmmm. Beautiful work!

Only found this series today so I didn't have a five year gap in the middle.☺ It turned out looking great, finished off perfectly with the real wood prop and the rigging. I wouldn't worry about the extra bit of gap at the front; it looks totally natural, Another fine build, Well Done.
    All the Best,
    Dougie.

@Brecken Cassius Why don't you f@ck off and share Muriel's popcorn then, you useless, lying spammer?

@Muriel Munzer Why don't you f@ck off and share Brecken's popcorn then, you useless, lying spammer? If you've been watching films since December, you must really need some sleep. 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕 could be affecting your judgement, meaning you get your kicks by spamming people on decent, family channels. It's not clever and it's not funny, so get a ******** life.👎

Terrific job Ben. The real wood prop is a great addition and the rigging looks perfect. If you hadn't pointed out the small gap under the spinner I would have just assumed it was a designed air intake. Dave

Should have used putty. Then blended it in. Just getting back in to this hobby again after sometime, wife and kids, got me a air comp, and gun for fathers day, I hate hang painting stuff
Edit mm the pudgy, just finished the video, love the prop, fantastic dtail!

Ben, Wow nice job. if I may say. All tail dragger's elevator's are in the full down position when no pilot is aboard. This is due to the weight of the elevator. once the air flowing over aircraft it lightens up or trims neutral.

Very nice. The gap doesn't look that bad, I kinda think that on the real thing the engine mount might move, shift, whatever and either introduce a gap, or widen (or shrink) one that already exists. Regarding the wobble in the landing gear struts, have you thought about overcoating with either epoxy or CA? I used CA to reinforce some very thin plastic for a conversion project, the CA stiffened the plastic enough so that the vac-formed parts didn't deflect when I held them. Maybe a thin overcoat of CA or epoxy on the gear struts might do the same? Just a thought. Again, very nice build.
