@@ByDesign333 I am an Brazilian and I have some notion about it as a nutrition Professor. My suggestion is to focus on walnuts and other nuts instead of Brazil nuts because Brazil nuts can have many selenium if ingested a lot. This can increase the low-grade inflamatory genes (a little bit).
I'm doin all these. I'll bet my liver is in pretty good shape. I have a ZERO INFLAMMATION diet. Now I need to get better sleep. The journey never ends.
The best detox for fatty liver is not what to eat but NOT EATING. Intermittent fasting or prolonged fasting is the best to remove fat in the liver. Fasting lowers insulin and increasing glucagon. When liver is producing glucose it is removing fat in the liver cells.
May be fifteen years ago I did popcorn with soybean oil in an aluminum pan and forgot to wash it. It stood one week "dirt" , covered with the lid. The pan walls had like a silicon. I did a test, repeated the same with olive oil. It is normal after one week. Never bought soybean after that.
Went to Italy for a few weeks. Limmited carbs (little bread here and there and 2 pizzas in toal, including 2 sweets). But Mmst of the diet was beef and salad, twice a day. Here in US I eat 1-2 a day. Over there 3 meals, including a tiny bkfast. Lots of olive oil. I definitely ate a bit more than here. Lost 5 kilos in less than a month. The culprit is in the food here in the US. Stick to organics non-processed food.

Could you PLEASE do an article on S.S.R.I.'s namely, Escitalapram that cause hepatic injury leading to M.A.F.L.D. These meds cause metabolic disorder and are required by a large portion of the population to treat depressive anxiety disorders. There must be some help to prevent the onset of disease. I am asking for the benefit for all who must take these medications. Thanking you for all the medical context you provide!
Don’t eat… Your liver will use fat for energy. Eat every other day for (6) months. Eat low carb on the day you eat. A study showed 20# of loss fat and increased lean muscle mass over (6) months.
Some school of thought if your LDL is up but your Triglycerides are low and your HDL is up where you have a ratio < 2:1 Triglycerides to HDL most likley you have large buoyant LDL.
Has anyone ever heard of cirrhosis of the liver being reversed by these dietary changes? I have reversed my fatty liver but still have scarring from Cirrhosis.
I went from 3 teaspoons of sugar in my coffee to 1 teaspoon. I don't think I can go all the way off it, at least not yet. I used to drink Cuban coffee, which was more like coffee with sugar syrup.
Use a little xylitol, since it's great for oral health, and tastes just like sugar It makes saliva neutral, before you go to bed If you start having cavities or gum disease...it's a great help Check out Dr Ellie Phillips ☺️
Small dense LDL is the effect of insulin resistance. Improve insulin sensitivity and LDL will be large dense LDL. Low Triglycerides high HDL Low visceral fat.
From the paper - reference 25“Research showed that foods considered to be beneficial to prevent and avoid progression of NAFLD are fruits and vegetables, whole grain cereals,” nonsense! I will stick with Carnivore and the coffee that still enjoy.

@PrevMedHealth Does this mean we should avoid bread, even if low in carb and sugar? Is it taboo to eat white bread, instead of whole wheat or whole grain bread?
@PrevMedHealth Thank you doctor. I didn't expect a response at this time. I suffer only from low blood sugar. As far as I am aware, my blood sugar levels do not spike, and I don't have Diabetes or pre-Diabetes. For this reason, if I don't eat hearty several times throughout any given day, I will space out. Despite this, I am trying to cut back on sugar and carbs. It is tough because when I am in the throws of a low blood sugar attack or feel extreme hunger, I will start craving all kinds of foods, including sugary treats and desserts. I will try the kinds of bread you have recommended here beginning tomorrow!
Keto reversed my fatty liver in just a few months. Blood sugar normalized along with lipids and the body composition you see in my profile pic. couldn't believe how easy it was.

Hi Dr Brewer. Thanks for this video! Been watching all your podcast for over 10 years. I got a question: The keto bread has a lot of fiber. Do you think keto bread is good for health? Thanks!
Thanks a lot!, take a look at the list of ingredients, there are some good keto bread options out there, but there are others that are just whole grains, same carb issue, I do eat some sourdough or ezekiel bread but not very often
I was carnivore for one full year. Fatty liver did not improve and now have a low Alk Phos with elevated AST and ALT. Also now have over 200 Triglycerides. Both good and bad Cholesterol are abnormal. The CT Angiogram now shows over 80% block in the right carotid artery. Also I went from a low vitamin B12 level to highly elevated one in one year’s time. Am now going to undergo a Right Carotid Endarterectomy.
Sorry to hear that. It’s must be frustrating. I could never be carnivore or vegan. We are omnivores and should eat a little of everything except processed foods.
I live in the tropical climatic region. So I consume freshly squeeze coconut milk every day, all year round & all my jobs get cleared up smoothly until my present age 70y.o now!!! I also eat glutinous/ sticky rice regularly when I am doing heavy duty tasks for weeks.😅😅😅
Suggestion, I used to use Starch as a sauce thickener (not a lot), now I add a small mix 50/50 of Glycine and Psyllium as an alternative.
Thank you! Thst’s a good alternative. When I found out so many high restaurants use cornstarch for sauce thickeners, it hit me!
Try Arrowroot as a thickener.
