This channel is amazing. It teaches you more about life than school does some times. I subscribed like 2 weeks ago and I have learned already a few things about life and myself in all of this. Thanks for helping all of the people who watch this to become better persons( including me). Thanks so much.
I love that message 'Notice, Remember, Replace'. Thank you for the knowledge. It'll be helpful in all aspects of life, especially in our intimate relationships with family members and significant others
This is what I’ve been teaching my boy’s in sports! Great advice and content! It’s so hard helping young teenagers at this level! It’s all about trash talk!
Very nice video, that situation occurs in all area of life specifically basketball. Sometimes we don't know what's happing, can be that situation...By the way, I'm learning English and that kind of content helps me a lot...tks
In the Bible, it says to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. The mind is a very strong place. As a 17 year old, I can say it's very important to get it under control! Be blessed guys!
I feel like this puts a ceiling in my mind of how much I really deserve to get in life. I feel that it is very hard/almost impossible to do enough good and have enough positive thoughts to the point of where it would be an equal magnitude of let's say, making the NBA.
Because I’m the taller on the court (6’6) and I have no skills but yet I try really hard and people still talk bad about me they say I’m “tall for nothing”
for the remember part, would if its not that action that makes you angry but the overall person and his selfesness all the time.. how do I battle that,
It's always the action; any thoughts about how they are as a person are just your own perspective on them. Just as with all else, observe those feelings and thoughts towards them, forgive them for their errors, and let them go. Coach S. DeepGame Basketball
Just speaking negatively in general. But if you're pointing out a weakness for tactical reasons, that's totally fine and is necessary for strategy etc.
I think it is as always, if it comes from a place of abundance as in constructive criticism to make someone better, or if it's just negative judgement. I think the important part is to speak to that person in private and in confidence, making sure the person understands what you are telling them is for their own good and it's coming from a good place, and that you are willing to help them overcome an obstacle
Also I am going into winter break so No school! I really want to be at the top of my game, get stronger, and overall be the best player I can be. In your other video you said to practice an hour a day, but I don't really feel like it is enough would it be okay to workout 5 hours a day by spacing out my workouts so I can put in 100%?
@@DeepGameBasketball yes exactly, I’m having trouble noticing, remembering and replacing when I’m already the one who making a mistake, I have a lot of trouble with getting down on myself.
@@granthamilton5342 The first step is what you're doing already: noticing that you're not noticing, in the moment. That's a big key, and I congratulate you for being able to do that. All you have to do is keep doing this. Continually notice that you're not noticing, and over time, you'll get closer and closer to the situation in which you're being negative, and you'll be able to notice, recognize, and replace while it is happening. I don't believe that karma truly exists, but I believe it's metaphorically true, meaning that acting as if it is real is a valuable strategy for life (thought plagiarized from Bret Weinstein). Good talk, coach.
Sometimes, but remember that trash talk in the heat of the moment is very different than talking behind someone's back, or speaking/acting hurtful towards another person.
I don’t think that’s what he’s saying necessarily, I think he’s just comparing it adjacently to those religious practices, as he does for Newton’s third law, and karma. Just comparing them and showing it’s been involved forever in different interpretations
No, this is not a religious video :-) Just making the point that all spiritual lineages have been teaching this principle for as long as we can remember.

Treat others the way you want to be treated. It's tough but it's true.

This is more than basketball now, which is awesome.

Love the content
What happened if I think it but I don't say it out loud?
That's where the technique at the end of the video comes in :-) The goal is to gradually purify your mind so that those thoughts don't arise anymore.
Great great great point!!!
Quick question do you mean by talking bad: 1.legit weaknesses of the other players in their game or 2. just bad things in general?
Just speaking negatively in general. But if you're pointing out a weakness for tactical reasons, that's totally fine and is necessary for strategy etc.

If it’s good quality drills and you really are putting in 100% I would say it’s fine as long as you keep your love for the game
You've been doing a lot of law 6 can you do the other laws.
I just noticed that too :-) We'll hit the others over the next few weeks.
@@DeepGameBasketball YAY
but is good trash talk allowed tho? like trash talk between teammates to increase competition
This is straight up fax
Are these videos live anywhere?
You should really make A podcast about the deep game. It would make it more convenient to listen to it while doing something else
Just listen to it while doing sum else
What about when these negative thoughts against yourself?
Do you mean, what do you do when you think negatively of yourself?

Hi
I'd love to believe in karma. But the world is not inherently fair.
I don't believe that karma truly exists, but I believe it's metaphorically true, meaning that acting as if it is real is a valuable strategy for life (thought plagiarized from Bret Weinstein). Good talk, coach.
Wouldn’t Jordan and Kobe be speaking “negative” when trash talking on the court ?
I had the same question
Sometimes, but remember that trash talk in the heat of the moment is very different than talking behind someone's back, or speaking/acting hurtful towards another person.
U changed ur name 3 times lmao
