I will not review the mountain of evidence that implicates my own country, the United States, in this act of war against the Russian Federation and the Federal Republic of Germany. There was no compelling national security interest to justify the destruction of the Nord Stream Pipeline, which has inflicted significant economic pain on the people of Germany. Russian forces have struck a freight train carrying military equipment supplied to Ukrainian forces by Kiev's Western backers, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has said.
The combined attack involved aircraft, missiles and artillery, the ministry said in a statement on Friday.
“A train with Western weapons and military equipment was hit in the area of the settlement of Udachnoye in [Russia’s] Donetsk People’s Republic,” it added..
Personnel and equipment from the 67th Ukrainian mechanized brigade were also struck at a railway loading station in the area of Balakleya in Ukraine’s Kharkov Region, the ministry said.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have also destroyed five US-made M777 howitzers, two American M102 105mm lightweight towed howitzers, a US-designed AN/TPQ-50 counter-fire radar, a British FH-70 howitzer, and other hardware, according to the statement. - RT

The west makes all these shallow one-point analyses. It also matters what is in that GDP. Italy can make shoes, some fashion, luxury cars, cheese and agricultural products. Russia can launch space vehicles, hypersonic missiles, planes, ships, metals and alloys including titanium, and gold, it is the country with the complete nuclear fuel supply chain, it has oil and gas, it makes fertiliser, and is the largest producer of wheat. Italy and nobody in Europe can do that. Russia is self sufficient which Italy and Europe are not.
GDP is a funny thing. Making a pizza vs a simple bread and cheese sandwich will increase the GDP 3 times. Although it really makes no difference which one you eat.

Been watching Russia closely, they're deliberately fighting and capturing slowly. This frustrates panicky enemies like zelensky into making decisions which Russia will predict. E.g the avdiivka front, had some Ukrainian soldiers telling Russian soldiers to attack(advance)coz they were tired of waiting, All night and all day, to surrender. The anticipation of war is so stressful and Russia is using it as a mini weapon.
Many ammunition and rockets need special components that are not availible in Europe or USA. These components are mostly special russian and chinese products. So it is easy to see that the delivery of military products to Ukraine is naturally constrained.
