@@anonymous-bb2dw yeah but this lesson will carry over. Teaching kids about not harming animals (even if accidentally!) is A FANTASTIC LESSON that will set them up to understand what consent is with *people*. If you grow up knowing that when a cat runs away from you, it does not want to be pet, then that lesson is more than likely going to make it easier for you to understand when someone does not want you to touch them because, hey. I remember this from my childhood and when someone doesn’t want me to touch them, I shouldn’t
One of my neighbor lets her kid just all over dogs like pulling ears, push, bug em. One day told him be careful cause a dog may nip u or accidentally hurt u if u scare, bug or hurt them and the mom was like ohhh yeah that’s true! Then started to like restrain & monitor him to only pet the neighborhood dogs like lady really? He was just a toddler but still like teach ur kid, Even if he wasn’t at danger of someone’s dog doing something it’s still not cool to let ur kid just annoy and get physical with dogs expecting them to just take it! That’s why I let him pet mine for like two seconds then carry him.
I was a nanny for a 5 year old. long story short he kissed a toilet. I told him not to kiss toilets. He said "my body my choice." I had to hold in my laughter and then text his parents. I needed a moment. Then I had to explain to him that it's also my job as his caregiver to protect him from harm and keep him safe. Toilets are dirty and therefore not safe to kiss.
She literally disabled comments on the other video she got cos she basically purposely made fun of him while he was in pain due to the mountain air pressure...she was so mean didnt explain to him why his ears hurt, just kept going 'your implants or your real ears?' while laughing into the camera.
