Thanks Claire! I recently discovered Fiddleleaf Fig trees & purchased 2 bigger ones. I h/b watching all of your videos & have both trees in the brightest spot in my house hoping they will acclimate nicely. We are having rain & cloudy weather so their final resting spot is not bright enough for them yet. This morning I bought a dwarf fig “Little Sunshine” & was excited to see you have information on them as well. I also bought a meter to measure light, moisture & PH & have transplanted 1 large tree already using a light potting soil mixed with orchid bark & perlite. Having so much fun, thanks for your great tips. ❤️

hi clair thanks for your amazing tips 😊😊🌹🌹 i have a problem with my fiddle and i hope you could help me i bougth a baby fiddle fig about 4 month ago but it still hasnt grown one bit do you think thers somthing wrong?
Of course! Is the pot it is in too small? Once the root system has used up the nutrients from the soil and outgrown the pot, it won't continue to grow unless it is repot into a larger size. For more support, join our Facebook community! facebook.com/groups/fiddleleaffigplantresource
I bought a 2-3 feet FLF with big leafs and every leaf fell… in the bottom new leafs started to grow so I cut the stick so it didn’t look like a bare stick with leafs just in the bottom… now it has a lot of small leafs in the bottom (I could cut the stick more cause it doesn’t have leafs in the top). Should I repot to a smaller pot?
HI Maria, if it looks happy in the pot it is in I wouldn't repot. Repotting can be a stressful process for the tree if it has already been through some changes. Keep watering when the top inches of soil are dry and ensure the water drains properly out the bottom drainage holes. And make sure it is sitting directly in front of and up against you brightest window.
Thanks so much for this video! I just got a baby fiddle leaf fig from IKEA, brought it home and examined it more closely and its covered in spider mites! I wasn't sure how to remove them, do you have any tips?
Congrats on your new little plant! You can use an insecticide spray or diluted neem oil to treat for spider mites. Treat the plant every few days until the new growth comes out clear. Hi Claire,am Juliet from down under.Amazon has none of the flf food as well as monstera food.Anywhere else I can get them or when are they available at Amazon.Am a fan ,thank you for your helpful tips
Hi Juliet, thank you for your question! We are in the process of expanding outside the US, Canada and the EU. But for now, if you can find a 3-1-2 NPK plant food that will work best for fiddle leaf figs. 5-2-3 NPK is best for monstera varieties.
Hey! I bought a fiddle leaf fig. About 2 feet tall. I see maybe a small 1 inch fiddle leaf fig growing next to it (unless it’s a weed). Should or could I remove it from the pot and repot it ? I am afraid of having 2 fiddle leafs in 1 pot.
It's perfectly find to have multiple plants in one pot, it's actually beneficial! But if it is a weed, I would remove it. If it is just a sucker (small fiddle leaf fig offshoot) you can remove that as well so the energy from the plant is directed to the main stem.

Do I water a baby with an 8 oz cup or do i water to cover soil like bigger trees and let run out ?
Best to let the water soak into all of the soil and let it drain out the bottom drainage holes and remove any excess. Happy Growing!
