I love the idea of a black & white model to replicate a photo! I might have to try it, maybe even a whole diorama, do everything in greyscale

awesome work i never got into any other way to paint a model all mine were painted with a brush and once in awhile a can of spray paint

Thank you! I don't get the sleek paint finish when I compare it to airbrush finishes. But this works for me too. I'm having a lot of fun. That's the most important part :)

Very very good work and not criticizing but I believe the window in the fuselage is used for landing and takeoffs to help the pilot see the runway

👍👍 very nice Im guessing every now and then a land based corsair would land on a carrier I like the well worn look

Navy and Marines took better care of their planes. Wouldn’t look that bad. But I did enjoy your video

Glad to hear you like the video. And yes for an aircraft carrier aircraft it is absurd. (heard that before ;) But I had a lot of fun making it that way.

Model is excellent but the weathering is overkill.

Thanks for the compliment and feedback. And yes I went overboard on the chipping. But it was fun :)

You working is outstanding but as an ex military aircraft tech, I can tell you no respecting Crew Chief would ever let his baby get looking like that. War or no war. Just way way too far overkill on paint chipping. Bare metal at sea is a very big no no, it would be patched up pronto. All US Navy carrier decks were stained blue by October of 1941
