Thanks for another great demo. This was the first kit the I used an air brush on, I just misted some light grey over the top of the fuselage and wings and thought it was pretty cool. You just took it to a whole new level for me. Your videos provide a great opportunity for modelers to improve with your simple but effective techniques. The scotch pad technique is gold....I am going to adapt it to pre-shading to speed up the mottling process (which I learned from you)- thanks again!
Nice job on a fine kit that stands up well after all these years. The fit is so good that the cockpit doesn't need to be glued to the fuselage halves, but I did add some styrene strip to reinforce the outer wing panel joints.
Great build! Wish I had 1% of your skill. Appreciate the the scotch-brite filter tip. Thanks for sharing your incredible work on this Iconic "War Bird" I like and subbed.
These are the best construction videos...well planned and presented, showing techniques clearly and professionally done....just great...Thanks for making this available.
Greeting Dusan, I just came across this build, and it was absolutely outstanding, I couldn't any previous comment I may have made, I have this exact kit in my stash and look forward to building it, i currently have another version on my bench, typical Tamiya, just 'shake and bake' thanks for sharing mate, best regards from Australia.
Impressive build, as always. My favorite moment in all your videos is when you give a thumbs up to begin the kit. Thank you for your twachings! stay safe and strong! A. Nitsch
After all these years subscribing i just realized that youre a lefty. Great as always 😁🤘🏾 thank you for keeping us entertained during this time. Stay safe
Great build! Excellent result. I build this kit as well - it is great, however I had one problem with it. Tamiya only gives an option to build it parked with flaps down. I had to use resin flaps to make mine in-flight. This is my general problem with Tamiya kits, as I really prefer to buil in-flight models. Other then that it is great kit.
I’m currently doing an F4U-4, I’m loving the use of techniques that are completely new to me( such as painting silver below and then actually scraping the top paint off to simulate scraped paint, who’d have thought of that right?)!
I like very much your model, maybe I'm going to build a f4u Corsair 1/48. I didn't understand how you did paint peeling. It's a very difficult effect to do, I don't like to do it, because it must be very well done. Thanks for your videos from Italy.
As always this is incredible work and I am in awe of your talent. Only one thing, I would have loved to see the photos of the Corsair you were basing this on at the end. Maybe to explain the condition and why the wings were off?
It is a shame that the folding wings are not moveable. After all Monogram had a F4U in the 60's with moveable wings. I enjoy your OoB builds, your talent is really on display. Beautiful job Dusan, the F4U looks fantastic! Congrats! Oh, and thanks for another excellent modeling tip.
You are really good at this. I'm going to make my first one it's from Revell and it's the Darth Vader Tie fighter. I've bought all the paint by Revell's web and the glue as well. I wanna keep watching this videos that you make so I learn to do it better and better.
Great result. Something to be proud of. But may I make one small remark? You added wear on the trailing edge of the propeller blades, instead of on the leading edge...... Easy fix, though.
i did the 1/32 corsair, with wings folded. Man that was a hard model, so many pieces. too many in my mind. The wind fit ended up bad due to part after part being added, just a mm off in one spot and everything gets worse from there
Why were holes drilled in the wing segments? Also, why scrape and sand away pin marks that are inside the wing, never to be seen? Awesome tips and techniques, though. Thanks for sharing your talents.
Congratulations Dusan! Very inspiring for me!! I have lots of Tamiya acrylics to use. Could you explain what the ratio you use with thinners? I cant get a smooth surface. Many thanks in advance!!!
Holy crap! What did I just witness? I've very recently discovered these model kit build videos. I used to build models when I was a kid, but I never became skilled. I've been wanting to see a Corsair build. You guys are pros. Firstly, I have ADD. Not ADHD... ADD. There's a difference. The one I have doesn't include the H. Hyperactivity. Mine is just Attention Deficit Disorder. I need prescription Adderall in order to focus on anything. Sometimes it works well, other times it just helps a little. Without it, I stare at the walls all day. In can't focus. I usually knock myself out with sleep meds (I also have chronic insomnia) rather to endure a day without Adderall. Now a personal question to the author of this Scale Model Aircraft channel, if it would please you to answer it. Are you just naturally healthy? I remember a time, long ago, when I was naturally healthy. And watching people build these scale models, with such skill and attention, and with these... RESULTS... which just blow my mind, it reminds me of when I used to be able to wake up and be motivated, before adult onset ADD and chronic insomnia took over my life. I ask you this question seriously. Do you wake up, motivated, without medication, and just DO this? I can't imagine being able to do something like this, but I would love to. I never realized model building could be so INVOLVED. I'm very impressed, with your channel, and others. I apologise for my very long post, backstory, and the personal nature of my question to you... But I'm very interested in what you, and other model builders with such skill, use as personal fuel to take on these challenges which require such high levels of concentration. Are you just naturally able to do this? Or are you on meds? Adderall? Do you have ADHD? It's been so long since I was 'normal', maybe I've just forgotten what its like to be a regular human. I could never even BEGIN to take on a challenge like this now. When I was a kid... maybe. Like I said I used to build models when I was a kid, but I lived in a one horse town, long before the internet, before widespread information was available instantly. Anyway, I leave you with my questions, and also... WOW. Thanks for blowing my mind! I'm gonna watch the next video now, where you complete it.
The second question that I'd like to do you, a very expert modeler, is this: is there a way to correct transparent plastic's imperfections? Because sometimes models have some small imperfections or scratches on the canopy, and it's not a modeler's error, but a kit difect... How can I correct thease imperfections?
Thank you so much for this, and ALL your other High quality builds. You are among The best modellers, and a GREAT inspiration for me😊
Thanks for your kind words! I am glad to hear that I have inspired someone 😉! Thanks 🍻
Building models is one thing. Building models and putting it to video showing some of your tips and skills........... Great

Absolutely stunning build. You truly are 1 of the very best modeller's I've had the pleasure to watch. Thank you for letting us view your builds

True ;-)
Yes it is, I‘m right now working on my Revell B-17G
This is brilliantly made, makes me want to buy this kit and try these techniques myself. Well done Dusan!
❤😊👍🤩🤗☺️😁 very nice aircraft fighter plane I like it so far.
These are the best construction videos...well planned and presented, showing techniques clearly and professionally done....just great...Thanks for making this available.
Incredible quality kit, build, and finish! Inspiring-this kit is in my stash

I'm very glad for giving English subtitle on the screen. It's easy to understand. Thank you so much !!
That weathering is absolutely astonishing!
Excellent build . . . I especially like the exterior. 👍
I love you Tamiya. Thank you for the marvelous kits.
Dusan, that is one of your most impressive models yet. Beautiful build.
After all these years subscribing i just realized that youre a lefty. Great as always 😁🤘🏾 thank you for keeping us entertained during this time. Stay safe
Funny you should say that.....I only noticed that in this vid as well.
He is always lefty. Just wondering why you just realize it now. But the most important thing is, his work is great!
@@iryairya2008 probably i was too focused on his work and technique. And yes his work is always out standing 😁
Forget the model, your editing and pacing is wondefful. Great job.
As usual another excellent video and model built by you!
Wonderful build, and finish, as always. 👏🏼👏🏼
Excellent work. If I can paint and detail my models as well as you, I'll have some great display pieces.
Extraordinary build
Very relaxing to watch before going to bed. I sleep like a baby.
Dieser schwarze Schwamm gibt einen wunderbaren Waldboden ab! Ein paar Kunstblätter drauf, perfekt!
Great and valuable video with some very good backgroud music. Loved it! Thanks!

Another gorgeous Corsair! 👌🏻
Absolutely outstanding!!!
Picked up this very kit and it's now in my minimal stash 😁

Amazing build, Dusan! Love the Corsair!

Very realistic model , I like it very much how you work it on .
Fantastic job ! 🎩👌
Pappy would be so proud of you. 👍
Man, that pre built cockpit was something else.
I had built this kit. 😊 Watching this gives me fond memories, of a sort. 😟 Wistful, now.
Very nice job and thanks for the video !! 👍👍
Great and besutifull finish...good tips for those thar would plan to build it...like me :). Tks for sharing..!
Amazing results! Well done!
Great video. What is the reason for using acrylic and enamel paints? Are the clear coats Lacquer? Thank you.
Excellent work...
Great result. Something to be proud of.
But may I make one small remark? You added wear on the trailing edge of the propeller blades, instead of on the leading edge......

Nice build
Another excellent video. Thanks for the tips!. Take care and stay safe.

Great looking build got some Corsair planes from different brands in the stash looking forward to get one done.
Nice tutorial.
Monogram used to have the folding wings, retractable landing gear in the 70s. Always build with the gear up so I can hang them up, out of the way.
Das ist der Hammer 👍👍👍💪💪🤘... Respekt!
Und dazu noch einen angedeuteten Flugzeugträger als Diorama 😅
Klasse Modell.
Liebe Grüße und bleib gesund Dusan
Awesome work.
What an absolute GEM
very impressive thank you for this channel in a word Brilliant
Awesome craftsmanship. as usual!
This kit nicely shows how Tamiya prices will also get you Tamiya quality.
Looks very war weary. Great job
Why were holes drilled in the wing segments? Also, why scrape and sand away pin marks that are inside the wing, never to be seen?
Awesome tips and techniques, though. Thanks for sharing your talents.
Great model and video,
Looks like VMF214 THE BLACKSHEEP😃😃😃
I love this series
Hello! Good video, a beautiful model turned out.👍👍👍
Nice model and good job!!!
Nice job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Congratulations Dusan! Very inspiring for me!! I have lots of Tamiya acrylics to use. Could you explain what the ratio you use with thinners? I cant get a smooth surface. Many thanks in advance!!!

That is one beat up Corsair👏 outstanding sir. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻🙃🙃
Beautiful!
how does brushing on the glue along the joint not affect your painting? or do you end up sanding some of that flat and not show it? can you explain?
hi can i ask when will you build He 111?
Seen a few of these videos. Some facts about real planes would be cool.
Great job, wish I had those modelling skills. My fave airplane next to the P51B Mustang...
BEAUTIFUL BUILD, LOVE THE WORN LOOK, SHOULD'NT THE TAIL FEATHERS HAVE SOME ALSO?
Question, what do you use for your washes. I know the enamels and what thinner. Saw one where they use lighter fluid. Is lighter fluid a good thinner?
What blade are you using for scraping seams? It looks shorter and more rigid than an Xacto #11 blade.
Beautiful job!!!
Muy buen trabajo,un saludo
