I actually liked the game, though I was playing it when I was 8, and we were taking turns, when you die you swap and i just didn't die, so people just watched me play, like I would only die on the fire boss. (and when trying to collect everything after getting to the final boss the 1st time) Still didn't like the water levels. But I liked the fact that you were rewarded for taking your time to collect the blocks, with sab2 having the same thing for the rings.
I played this game for the first time months ago on an emulator. Actually enjoyed most of it including the vehicle levels, wasn't as good as the 2nd and 3rd game but still decent, just could've used more polishing before release.
I thought wrath of cortex was better than the other games. It has better music, better ice physics, you don't control crash with the directional buttons thank god and better graphics. Plus the idea of there being another creation by cortex specifically to kill crash and not to take over the world was a good idea. Admit it, if there was no crash 2 or 3, this would be a much loved sequel.
The music in Wrath of Cortex was great. Darker music but still very crash like in nature. I still actively listen to the soundtrack on a regular basis. Sure I do that for nearly all the Crash games but many of my favorite crash songs are from Wrath of Cortex.

Did you just say that Mark Hamill was the voice of Batman...? Oh My God dude... that is hilariously adorable. Please please PLEASE do your research. XD
Mark Hamill was the Joker. Kevin Conroy was Batman.
Can confirm as someone who doesn't like Crash Bandicoot, I am in fact watching this because I like your stuff
AntDude : What is your least favorite type of level in any platformer? Me : Water levels. AntDude : That's right! An ice level. *This is like watching dora the explorer all over again*
I really enjoyed wrath of cortex.
I love your stuff, AntDude.
ANTDUDE IS BEST DUDE.
Yup!😁😁
Wrath of Cortex >>>>> Trash Warped
Have you ever play Warped?
I did. That game was just a rehashed Crash 2 with minigames.
@Megumi Bandicoot
No need to take you seriously.
Antdude: unless you love my stuff
me: masterpiece of videos you do ant
This is my favorite Crash Game! Probably because it was the first one I ever played! My Cousin and I played this together and I freaking loved it!!! That's why I really want them to remake it like they did the first 3 games!
Oh come on man, Crash Bash wasn't that bad.
Wasn’t that great either
Blade Arklight it wasn’t Bad but it’s not Good either
What about Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex?
@@johnsantos507
Crash bash when you play it with a brother or a friend, is one of the greatest ps1 games that you can play.
Wrath of cortex had so many obstacles, but will remain one of the most beautiful ps2 games in my eyes
Unfortunately, stupid reviewers think that hating on a game unreasonably is cool.
Lots of brainless fucks will follow then saying the game is shit to get clabbed to by their ass youtuber daddies.
Wrath of cortex was like your poor daddy not being able to buy you an iphone so he buys you a an android, put himself in so much pain and be broke for two months so you can have a smartphone. These cunts hate the poor daddy (Traveler's sales) because they couldn't perfect the game.
Fuck the stupid cunts..
@@kakacech Wait, they hate Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex?
Antdude: Now if I were to ask you your least favorite level in a platformer what would you say?
Me: ...
Antdude: Exactly an Ice level.
Me: I didn't say anything...
Exactly, water levels ARE bad! Nice input, dude/lady! I also agree, water levels blow! Along with ice levels too! You really seem to know what you're talking about, dude/lady!
1:11 the PS2 and Xbox versions don’t have that.
Ant:What's your least favorite type of level in a platformer?Me:A water levTHAT'S right AN ICE LEVEL!
When Crash dies theres a song refence in the death animation.
I actually liked the game, though I was playing it when I was 8, and we were taking turns, when you die you swap and i just didn't die, so people just watched me play, like I would only die on the fire boss.
(and when trying to collect everything after getting to the final boss the 1st time)
Still didn't like the water levels.
I actually loved wrath of cortex. It was one of the first crash games I played, along side crash 2 and tag team racing.
