Finally, Activision! You were doing us a favor because you decided to look on the bright side by giving us a remake of the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy that actually tries new things and updates itself but not in a pandering and/or stereotypical way!

I always liked to compare Twinsanity to Sonic 06 in a way, but merely on the level of being unfinished. Twinsanity, in my opinion, is the perfect example of having a game rushed and still making it good.

I really enjoy it, and I have minor complains about it. Anyway, it calls my attention you all coincide in your terms, talking about an unfinished or incomplete game and not about a game that has imperfections and flaws. I mean, how can you all know what should be expected or what was supposed to be the final product? It would be interesting if any of you could clarify this, greetings!!

A lot of people write off Twinsanity as an unfinished hodgepodge, but it actually has the deepest lore and story of all the Crash games when you read between the lines and take every single little thing about it into account. Plus, with the varied gameplay, it has endless replayability in my eyes. It may be unfinished, but it's an unfinished MASTERPIECE.

Twinsanity is my favorite crash game ever, but I do have to agree that it was interesting... But still a real classic and pretty good, in the way crash twinsanity did these interesting things it made it sillier and more unique. I'd say it's probably the best and most underrated crash bandicoot game ever, but I'm probably just being too biased because it brings back a lot of nostalgia.

@kaiden Eats The Earth I completely agree with you this is also my favorite crash game and I never hear many people talk about it it is really a shame. This was my first game I ever played and I really have fond memory's of it and I played it recently and I still love it and consider it my favorite crash game.

The first Crash Bandicoot wasn't THAT hard, at least for me.
But I totally agree that Twinsanity was the last good Crash game before the series died a slow and painful death, I wish it wasn't so rushed, it could have been so much more.
In fact, I love Twinsanity so much, that I can recite EVERY single piece of dialouge, word for word.

Prinzess Lex Mind over Mutant was okay at the very least, but it just feels like a rehash of Crash of the Titans, except with a lot of tedious backtracking.
I haven't played Crash of Titans so I wouldn't have been able to feel that way when playing it :/

It bums me out that these franchises like Crash and Spyro never stuck with their original developers and been bounced around to so many developers that they never really hit it big after the PS1. I know Insomniac wanted to do something new because of Spyro's limitations with no arms, but still....
The Gray Kirby If only that was true with Spyro. He should've bit the dust after the Legend series, but for whatever reason, he's being kept barely alive thanks to how thirsty Activision, or whoever it is, is for that Skylander cash.

there was one glitch in this game that i came across which always was a total WTF moment.the part where you have to get rid of the worms for the farmer. instead of worms....Cortex was replaced, so i had to bash the cortex..with cortex

Crash Twinsanity is awesome!! Only thing that makes me sad about it is the amount of scrapped awesomeness if you look at all the concept art and stuff. It turned out a great game, so no complaints, but the idea of how much better it could've been just blows my mind. I hope the PS4 reboot that's (hopefully) about to start will do something with all the lost potential in the Crash universe.
Yeah. A lot of this content is showcased on the channel GameHut, which is made by Jon Burton (or as i like to call him, mr. Traveller's Tales).
Basically, the man who leads Travellers Tales, also the company that made Twinsanity and other great games.

As far back as the ps4 release, if you went on the Activision website, there was no sign of Crash or Spyro anywhere. Sony DID buy the rights to Crash back, they just haven't said anything about it. They even teased it in a ps4 commercial. Have faith my fellow Crash fan xDD

Heck I was stuck on rooftop rampage for the longest time. And when I was finally over with it my game gliched and I couldn't continue!! Thank gosh I was able to get a new copy of the game
@@DragonQueen-ox8dk when you switch to Cortex after rooftop rampage, I killed those ant-like-robot-dudes and ran out of shots. Then I got stuck to that doorway that leads to a boss (I just walked casually), and had to reset (softlock). Also I had fun doing it again (I didn't).

As mediocre Crash of the Titans and Mind Over Matter were, they were still freaking hilarious and had awesome voice acting. Combine the gameplay of the original trilogy with the personality of Twinsanity onwards and you got the perfect Crash game.

Crash Twinsanity is awesome! I guess the absurdity of it was what drew me to other absurd/weird media growing up (like Invader Zim and Animaniacs). Spiralmouth's work is AMAZING. A capella was a really neat idea for this game and helps cement the game's uniqueness.

It absolutely has some memorable moments, but I find I've forgotten most of the game, unlike Twinsanity and the original trilogy. It was kind of a stale game, even though it had some really good classic crash levels.

Honestly, my main problem with Twinsanity is that the Nitro crates are way too powerful. In the previous games, they'd take one life without Aku Aku, but if you had at least one you'd be safe. In Twinsanity, even if you have 3 Aku Aku masks, a single Nitro crate would STILL kill you. That's completely bullshit. And considering how many Nitro crates are spread all over the place, some levels are basically impossible for me.
The one of many issues I have with Twinsanity, because the instant kill nitros are spammed everywhere in that game and it makes the difficulty very cheap. Everything about Crash & Aku Aku got nerf in this overrated game.
I wanted to experiment a video I could make a bit shorter than normal, and I felt this was the perfect game to do said experiment! It won't happen too often, but let me know what you guys think.

The load times on the Xbox version of crash 4 are like 3 seconds. It's still a little long but not as long as the ps2 version
***** I quite like it :) more in-depth vids work well too, but I like it all hehe :) Yeah Twinsanity is the last great in terms of platforming, I still don't mind Nitro Kart and Tag Team Racing as games, but yeah Titans and Mutants didn't do much for me sadly and I wish they would return to Crash's roots or something again :)

The funny thing is that the prototype name for Crash was Sonic's Arse Game before Sonic Adventure was a thing.
Twinsanity may be my favourite Crash game because that's the first one I played. Never even finished it unfortunately :( I remember the level I got up to as well, somehow :D One of the tribal levels, and there was a weird statue in the middle of an open (circular) area.
Wait, no, Crash Tag Team Racing. I played Twinsanity first I think, but CTTR was always my favourite.
I think this shorter style works better for these kinds of games! I'm really glad someone got around to talking about Twinsanity.

I remember playing Crash Twinsanity on Sony PS2 when I was a teenager. I thought I found it hilarious especially Dr. Neo Cortex himself. Its graphics are good and visuals are pretty decent but sometimes camera controls might be frustrating and confusing. The music is kinda catchy but even sometimes it may be repetitive and irritating as well.
I still like the game though.

The loading times in The Wrath of Cortex are honestly not that bad, and I have the PS2 greatest hits version, which may have improved them, but I'm not sure. They're only about 25 seconds, which isn't bad, considering they have to load the levels' awesome graphics. Now, the same argument could be said for Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, but I agree that thee loading times of about 55 seconds are a bit much, even with the awesome graphics, in the non-greatest hits version of the game, which I have.
The greatest hits version shortened the load times by a lot. I also have the greatest hits version of the game but i’ve seen footage of the original PS2 release on UA-cam and the load times really are dreadful in that version. The Xbox and Gamecube versions also had shorter load times (though the loading screens themselves were also completely different between the different platforms).
Even 25 seconds sounds too long.

being a 2006 kid i have only played wrath of cortex and twinsanity but i have much older siblings who have played the trilogy and they always tell me stories of their experiences.

I freaking loved this game. I was really bad at games back then though. I got stuck at most levels while playing this. I distinctly remember having trouble with the bee part and the walrus cook.
This was one of my favorite games as a kid, even though I was really bad at it. It was also the second video game I ever got so this game definitely holds a special place in my heart.

It seems like a complete pipe dream, but one day, I'd like to see this game remade (and actually finished...). It had potential to be the greatest Crash game of all time. Maybe after they would remake this, they could do that pitched sequel that involved Crash and Cortex in a bunch of weird TV show based levels.

Yeah, I remember reading about that. If Cortex's gameplay would have amounted to more than just "Shoot first, ask questions later" in the Twinsanity sequel and Cortex game, then I would have loved to see what they would've done with it.
