Can't thank you enough for letting me show you around Marc. It was a pleasure and a honour to share the trails with you bud. I hope we can do it again in the not too distant future. 😎🤘
Cheers Mark! Yeah the sights where slightly limited on the Friday night but Marc did return to the pipe the following day to experience it in the daylight 🤣 Thanks for watching mate! 😎🤘
What a brilliant video, Ben. Loved the way you managed to cope in the high winds. Bet you spent all weekend cleaning your shoes. Thanks for the introduction to Marc and finally, his ascent of the pipe was stunning. I could barely walk up it last week. He just kept running. Enjoy your choccies.
Thanks very much Richard. That's very kind of you mate. Marc produces some really excellent videos too so I hope you enjoy his content. Marc is a real runner I struggled to keep up 🤣 Thanks for watching mate! 😎🤘
Glad it looked easy but it certainly wasn't 🤣 Need to get back on the train now following a weekend of over indulgence 🤣 Thanks for watching James. I hope your Japan trip is going well. 😎🤘
Cheers Stephen! Training has been going pretty well. I am hoping it doesn't come off the rails. Marc is a proper runner mate. He's bloody quick too! Thanks for watching bud! 😎🤘
I would love to run the final loop and end section. I have it high up on my bucket list for sure. I bet you had a blast Carl. Thanks for watching mate! 😎🤘
I’ve just got into trail running around south west Surrey. I’m about halfway through couch to 5km but decided to push myself and completed my first parkrun on Saturday at Alice Holt! It’s so much fun, but I have a long way to go fitness wise. Any tips for stepping up for a 10km trail run? Love your videos, it motivates me to get out there again!
That's awesome stuff bud! We have a few of the GTR crew that run regularly at the Alice Holt parkrun. Huge kudos to you for smashing it out mid C to 5k plan 👏 My advice would be to keep doing what you're doing with C to 5k then once you have completed it. Maybe repeat the final few weeks but bump up the distances by a K or add 5 minutes onto the time of each run section. Just continue to build it up slowly by try to be consistent with your pattern of running throughout the week. I hope that kind of makes sense 🤣 Thanks very much for watching I really appreciate it mate! 😎🤘
Amazing Ben - great to see you running with Running with Marc! I remember that pipe well from the Shere 42K I think it was - can't say I was running up it 😅Great work on the training Ben, hope you good in some good Easter eggs after to aid the recovery
Cheers Ben. I am so glad I got to meet up with Marc. I love his channel. He makes some incredible videos. Yeah it's right at the end of the 42k such a evil climb to have in the last 6k 🤣 Thanks for watching Ben. 😎🤘
What a pleasure to head out on your local trails, thanks for the great time.
No sights were needed as the conversation and company was pure gold.

Looked to be an awesome time! Glad you two could meet up for a run.
Running with Marc in the darc. Sidenote: nobody runs the pipe 😅
#piperunners
🤣 I missed a great opportunity there. Only the most hardened trail runners run up the pipe mate 🤣👍
Another full week of training there mate. Nicely done! Good to see Marc enjoying the sounds, if not the sights on the dark trails 😁👍🏻

The "sights and sounds" of the Surrey Hill Trails is enough to make me want to come over too. Great vid Ben and nice to see Marc too. Great stuff.
That would be awesome Neil! If you ever find yourself visiting the Surrey area please do give me a shout. Thanks for watching bud! 😎🤘
Another awesome training week, Ben. Love the night-time running, so needed for a 100-miler. Cheers.
Cheers Reto! Night time running can sometimes get overlooked.....I am overlooking the daytime running at the moment 🤣

Nice one. Funny who you meet on the trails - famous UA-camrs. Just think who you might see on towpaths? Infamous ones?
🤣 I think I will be staying away from the tow paths for now just incase I meet someone who I'm not too keen on 🤣
