A 15:10 … The best rust reformer I’ve ever used is hydrochloric acid. It eliminates any rust down to near metal, ready to prime and paint. It’s better than any other product I’ve used.

Do you just stop by your local hydrochloric acid store? Lol, na but seriously where do you buy it?

Hydrochloric acid is what you have in car batteries.
I buy it where car batteries are sold or at well stocked hardware stores or paint shops.
You pore a minor amount into a stainless steel or plastic bucket, enough to cover your corroded steel item. Then wait a while and all rust will be gone.
Rinse the acid off with a lot of water.
Downside to this is that the surface becomes so clean it will show corrosion from your fingerprints, which can look pretty cool. If not painted it will begin rust again within 24 hours.

16:56 I didn't expect that, i would of thought it would of done more. If you have to sand the rust off what use would that stuff make, paint does the same. Cant remember the stuff i use comes in a small white bottle an you brush it on the liquid is white an looks blue when it hits rust an then turns blk.

Yeah I also use naval jelly. It's pink and turns white after the reaction. You're right though, seems like regular paint.

No, I'm not. I just like fixing up cars and this one happened to be a Samurai. Quite the following these things have though. Didn't know much about them till I bought this one and I totally get why people love them so much.

So you got rid of the exhaust test!?? Well done, don’t tell Greta Thunberg! 😂

    • @FixLife119
      @FixLife119  3 місяці тому +1

Yup, did it today. She's legal now. Greta should really look into ice cores studies that they've done. They prove that CO2 doesn't cause climate change, it's a result of it. Going back millions of years whenever there was a spike in temperature, about 100 years later there was a rise in CO2, and when temps would drop CO2 2ould fall roughly 100 years later. They want to spend like $50T over 10 years to drop CO2 levels, yet these same people when asked the question... "what percentage of the atmosphere is CO2?" They don't know. Then they act shocked to find out CO2 is .04% of the atmosphere and humans are responsible for about 4 or 5% of that .04%. Plant life starts dying when you approach .02%. The climate is clearly changing but I wonder how much of the recent events are caused in some part by weather manipulation. They've dropped enough aluminum on us to spike the numbers in the farthest corners of earth, even on the tops of the highest mountains. Really not good for humans.

I’m a strong advocate of manmade climate change. Watch ‘4 Degrees’ by National Geographic. The ice north and south is melting at an alarming rate.
The planet will survive. If we want to survive with it we have to take all actions we can. If not we will go extinct.
Fun fact … In 4-5 billion years the Andromeda galaxy will collide with the Milky Way. The ones living on Earth at that time will not understand the spectacular view in the sky.
After the collision there will be no trace of earth. None. If later an intelligent life form evolves they will have no clue we ever existed.
      About electrical vehicles, EV’s…
During production and their life span they pollute 70 times more than a petrol vehicle.
This means that if you buy a 10-30 year old petrol vehicle you do more for the environment than a new EV ever will.
On top of that, the batteries from EV’s cannot be recycled and will end up in landfills until someone invent a recycling technology. EV’s is wrong in every aspect.
There’s nothing wrong with the Otto engine. It’s troubles is the fuel used. Get us better fuel and the Otto engine will do just fine. The best Otto fuel is Hydrogen. But it’s very expensive to manufacture, not mentioning its storage in a moving vehicle.
      - But I think there’s a solution to every problem, hydrogen included.

I’m a strong advocate that man made climate change. All evidence points in that direction.

Climate change is a fact and it’s happening at an alarming speed and rate. The planet will survive us, we will not. Actually, Earth will flourish when mankind is gone. We are the worst ever lived here.
4-5 billion years from now the Andromeda Galaxy will collide with the Milky Way. The creatures living on earth when that happens will not understand the spectacle seen in the sky.
After the collision there will be no trace the Earth ever existed. None.
But back to EV’s - going for battery electrical vehicles is not the solution for the environment. Because battery EV’s pollute 7 times more during production and usage than a petrol vehicle does during its entire lifetime.
On top of that, the batteries from EV’s cannot be recycled and will end up as massive pollutants in landfills, until new recycling technology is invented, if ever.
There’s nothing wrong with the Otto engine itself. It’s trouble is the fuel. Give us better fuel and the environmental issue will be solved.
The best, cleanest, fuel for the Otto engine is hydrogen. But it’s very expensive to manufacture and difficult to store safely in a moving vehicle prone to accidents thanks to its crappy drivers.
(Remember the 1950-1960’s when we were predicted to have flying cars in the 2000’s? Hahahaha - mankind can’t even drive on the ground without crashing into one another, imagine us flying! 😂)
The best solution for the environment today is to buy a 10-30 year old petrol vehicle (or a brand new one) and drive it to end of its life. That will do way more for the environment than any EV ever will.
