Seriously. Maybe it's just my cheap phones. I've tried without the case thinking that was trapping the heat in but it doesn't matter. Anything over 100° it just doesn't like it. I'm sure I'm shortening the life of it by throwing it in the freezer all the time. A few weeks ago I pulled it out of the freezer and it reverted back to March 31st and the time was 5 hours off. I was all confused cuz the videos I took of my cat weren't there. Later when I discovered it had time traveled I found them at the bottom of the photos gallery because technically they were dated the oldest. The heat from the phone in the freezer must cause internal condensation, but the show must go on right?

I run iPhones. When off-roading I track the drive of the day using ‘Relive It’. If I use Waze at the same time and charging as the use quite some power when in combination my phone overheat too. I pisses me off as I lose valuable tracking data.
So now I have one old iPhone running the Relive It tracking, a second one running Waze, and a third for shooting videos and taking pictures.
And I keep them all out of direct sunlight. It’s not 100% success but close.

@@numbskullskills LOL, it just happened. 20 min ago it said 1k, now it's back to 999. Dude I've noticed my numbers dropped off a cliff now that I'm not able to get a video out every day or 2. It was at 10k per week at one point, now it's at 3k. I guess the trick is to edit out the boring stuff (like 90% of my talking) and crank them out like a superhuman. Or go on amazing adventures or have expensive toys, or a supermodel wife, that all helps too, and I got none of it lol.

@@numbskullskills I looked but didn't check Broski Ray, I'll check that. I'm not on board with flat earth yet, as much as I've watched. I've spent too much time watching space documentaries and working at a University Lunar and planetary sciences building where they used to drive the rovers on Mars n sh!t. I was really into physics in school. Lol, don't repeat this but I did get into a 2 hour argument with ChatGPT about giving me the formula for how much the earth drops away vs distance and it basically proved flat earth. But by that logic circles don't exist either because it couldn't do that either. 20 years ago I would have been able to figure out the formula. The formula they always spout is incorrect.
