There are lots of differences between the MP-40 and the MP-38.

DarthRakdos 0805 there actually aren’t that many differences between the two. MP-40 had different charging handle, mostly stamped steel instead of milled, threaded barrel for blank adapter and no aluminum pistol grip or resting bar.
I remember playing Medal of Honor: European Assault, seeing that Vanguard Version at 3:32.
I always loved those sounds of aiming down sights, changing mags and racking the charging handle.

It's a rip off. If you have worse micro transactions Than PUBGM, you fucked up big time.
So many games have it firing from a closed bolt, wow. And so few make use of the safety notch when reloading.
Good idea using World of Guns, I'd like to see that when possible.
And finally, I'd say Red Orchestra 2 and Day of Infamy win (again).
More vids will come from WoG! it's an awesome and detailed weapons game!
Well, the safety notch wasn't really meant to hold the bolt back while changing magazines, more so it it was just used to safety the gun when not in combat. Personally, I feel like the method shown in Battlefield V is just wasting time and energy.
@Ave Republic! no he holds the gun to low u need to hold the gun by the magwell if u hold the magazine it self it can bend and couse malfunctions.
I love that they engage the safety in Insurgency during reload. Such a cool touch

The first game where i shot the MP-40 was Hidden & Dangerous 1 from 1999, it was ahead of its time. And of course i still play the game. I was disappointed that it was not listed here because for me its the best WW2 game and ofc i played MoH too !

World of Guns is an awesome addition. Actually seeing how the gun works.

My favourite MP-40 is the one of MOHAA, mostly because it has the same sound as in Saving Private Ryan

i think the winner of the day is someone between RO2 , Insurgency ,Day of Infamy or BF5 , it's hard for a person in a chair to make the most accurate decision , only people who actually shot the mp40 can tell precisely which one is the most accurate . LIKE IF YOU AGREE !!

I've shot one before. It's ability to fire 30 magazine clips in half a second is really impressive. I also love the underbarrel rail system that allows you to equip a chainsaw underneath the gun.

The game was set in modern US Montana, but Ubisoft did not forget about this great firearm and modernized it to fit in the game as a formal SMG.

While I don't think it's the best I've always been Fond of the Allied Assault MP40 because it uses the same sounds as Indiana Jones and Saving Private Ryan.

World of Guns: Gun Disassembly is the Most Unique One in this Video!
In this game you can: take it apart into individual components (there are a total of 77 parts on an MP40.) , reassemble them, plus there is a suppressor option for the gun in the ‘Operation’ mode (which is the mode where you get to fire the weapon, and see it in slo-mo and X-Ray views...)
On commandos strike force the bolt doesn’t even go forward. But when you reload, it magically gets to the front of the friking gun

my favorite has to be the one from Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. I'm partial to low-quality renders and textures, and those old gun sounds from like the late '90s to early 2000s.

The way he gets his mag out of his pocket and puts in the gun its absolutely the same as in bfv

Huh, MP40 firerates seem to alter a lot in these games, from 300-400, 500± or hell 600-700 RPM
BFV, FC5, and DOI. These did really well at recreating the MP40, and they all sound good.
MoH 1999, CoD:WWII, and BF1942 are what I think did it the worst.

The only problem I have with the bfv mp40 is that the dude does some hk slap like thing but that would cause the gun to fire. Just a minor detail I wanted to point out.
