@Jamie Ballard In CoD 2, the reload for the Kar 98k shows the strip clip being removed when putting in the rounds, while other bolt action reloads show the whole thing put in the the gun like a en bloc clip

Actually bf5 is the one hv the most realistic reload, when 1 round is chambered but u want to reload, soldiers would use their fingers to prevent the chambered from fly out like normal fired round, unlike games where chambered round magically teleport from the chamber back to other unloaded rounds
0:26 in PUBG's version, when the character chambers to eject, you can see, as the bullets chasing ejects, the next bullet is visible clearly, every time it chambers to the next round. Even in 0:30, you can see the bullets is being pushed back in, as the character reloads a few bullets. That's very high-detailed. I respect on the PUBG's Deb on that regard.
I think bfv’s reload animations has to be my favourite, when he went to reload the first time you can see he uses his fingers to hold the remaining bullet inside just before loading the rest. And when he does a clip reload that little thumb flick to get rid of the rest of the clip was satisfying, nice features lol (Edit: or pushing the remaining bullet down to load more)

Exactly. I always caught that in games and it annoyed me. For those who don't understand: When reloading the gun, while it still has bullets in it, you have to load 1 extra round, because you dumped 1 round when pulling the bolt back to reload.

I don't know about the actual sound of the gun firing, but BF5 got the bolt opening/closing perfectly. I have two different Mausers, an M24/47 and a Kar98k and the bolts sound exactly like that.
