If they brought in Hypno then we could have an extremely juvenile, extremely Zedaph potty humor situation on our hands. I'm sure this is not an original thought, though.
21:29 Villager trading - how about a Feather Falling villager? Both for the lifesaving enchant, and because it would be really funny to have a dangling villager who sells feather falling!
Not to sound mean, but...with how often you die, I think an armorer or a toolsmith villager would be nice to have for even just quick segments where you need junk tools
It feels like Zed is to Tango what Skizz is to Impulse: a longtime friend of a well-known redstoner, who brings out his friend's wild and silly side. All four of them together make for fabulous, hilarious chaos!
the fact this turned into a dangling chicken villager trader farm makes me so happy. the OG chicken villager video prompted me to collect a chicken villager from each biome. they aren’t traders but they are glorious! thanks for the inspiration for my own project hahaha
Jeez. Dangling chicken villagers is genius! But now with the void hole, instead of dangling sheep under bedrock, you know you what you should do!! Bonus points for hermits that manage to successfully trade while flying in the void
I think your ZITS team had a good point about lighting nearby caves. But it was great fun to see you all spleef those creepers anyway! I am also exited to see what you're going to do in th egaming district. Your minigame ideas barrel seem to have no bottom
Creeper Spleef is a game I didn't know I needed in my life until Skiz blew up. From now on that needs to be part of the game's intro animation along with an appropriate 80s style arcade jingle.
i feel like for next villagers; you should get either an armor smith and or a tool smith. dimond gear is always helpful; espically when you got a void hole in the middle of your base with no protections
Crazy idea: people like Tango get lost in the void tryna find each other's holes, right? Why not dangle *screaming goats* instead of sheep? Then you could follow the sounds of the screams!
Zed kept jump scaring me when the creepers snuck up behind him. I lost count of how many times he scared me. He knows how to keep hus audience entertained.
Always a blast when the ZITS are around! Also a pure chicken jockey transformed dangling trading hall seems like an absolute nightmare only a madman like Zed would dare to try (and that's a compliment!)
With how quickly they restock when the step appears, instead of making it pop out the step when your not there, just attach a daylight sensor and let it pop for a few moments after midday then it pops back in - just enough time to restock, but then they are forever dangling
You need to convince Cleo to build the game she was planning to challenge Scar with in the gaming district, it seemed interesting and she seemed a bit sad that Scar halted the permit challenges before she could finish it. XD
You're in charge of the gaming district this season? Perfect! I hope you can make it (maybe by challanges or monthly/bi-monthly championships) that the gaming disctrict will actually be used regularly, instead only once during a charity stream and never again after. Last season (or the one before?) there were so many games I've never seen any one play because I missed the stream and with many Hermits at some point running out of ideas for videos they never remember simply going to the gaming district to hang out and compete for easy videos and fun watching experiences for us. Please make it be used throughout the season.
I didn't have headphones for a good portion of the day so I was able to see how good the subtitles are! They are so easy to understand who is talking! Excellent episode as usual but I often forget how excellently captioned these episodes are!
Skizz's reaction to that first creeper falling was like something right out of a cartoon, I loved it! The little hop-and-scream, and then racing backwards, such classic comedy.
Two villagers that are invaluable for any trading hall is an armor and toolsmith, for ease of rearming in case of death. So I'd say invest in an armorsmith first.
If you want a slightly more complex gamey trading system you can use bubble elevators to bring the chicken villagers up through the roof behind the walls and then drop them at random intervals so you have to "catch" the right one at the right time. Then put their workstations up in the roof where you block them off for the random timings and when you aren't in the hall so they could hopefully restock. The chickens will slow the fall and should negate fall damage but water at the bottom to carry them to the elevator should also make sure they don't take damage.
I know part of the aspect of creeper spleef is that its a block farm, but I feel like it would be more fun if it only refilled the blocks at the end of the game(or more slowly throughout the game). Makes more unique situations and pushes players to have more thoughts
"I'm making popcorn, except with little bald babies!" 😂😂😂❤ And one of the dangling villagers should definitely be named Bob, since he's bobbing up and down!
Chicken Jockey Villager name ideas: Bea - For the pumpkin villagers, Chuck is of course chuck full of emeralds and a pun on Chicken. You could also be full of emeralds and have a pun on Beak Pump - I know its not really a name, but you can pump full of emeralds and a pun on Pumpkin Dan - for the jobless villager. He just Dangles.
Idea: Hey Zed, you could dangle the villigers in the sky, above the revine, on a mobile or something and you can only access them by flying. The game is to trade what you want before the inventory is forcefully closed because you are too far away.
Don't worry, Zed, Xisuma's "alter ego" card was Evil X, and everyone knows those are two different people! ;) Also LOL I love the ZITS games together!! And I'm excited to see how the gaming district develops! And the chicken villagers are so cool!!
Zed I wanted to thank you. I am playing a super flat create world and was struggling to get red stone dust and diamonds. Because you showed one of your villager trades it inspired me. Now I can get red stone dust, lapis and diamonds. Thank you so much for being zany and creative.
The extra farmer chicken villager that didn't get the pumpkin trade could be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Or as a prize for winning a Zed game. Still a rare villager even if not-so useful.
About the villager... Would say: protection, efficiency, fortune or silk touch About the void hole, can you place banners on the edge so it shows below? Idk if that's possible... And I'm in bed, I'll not try it and I will have forgotten it until morning XD
19:50 you need to set that to calibrated skulk sensors so when you break the glass it retracts the slabs and when you place the glass it stops the dangling.
What if you have a redstone clock that makes the villager stop dangling for just long enough for it to restock, since it restocks instantly when it can.
Hey zed, etho built a system in his letsplay a little while ago now using a daylight sensor that can tell when it's time for villagers to restock. If you hooked up your piston stairs to be out when villagers are able to restock you wouldn't have to go in and out of the room to get the villagers to restock, but the other 80% of the time they can dangle. And it'll tell you when it's time to bulk trade with them.
I had two suggestions for creeper spleef. A crying obsidian in the center where the creepers fall and change the cobble gen to stone gen so instamine works. Thanks for the video and the laughs. Have a great day.
Zed you should hook the Dangling villagers to a night/day sensor to make it more automatic, the only issue is the hermits sleep so much it might make restocks harder, but they seem to restock the second they see their post so it might work fine!
(for more of an explanation, minecart locations are more accurately calculated than player locations, so this means the minecarts in the kicky sticky won't be affected as badly by server lag)
Zed, have you considered turning the cobble generator into a regular stone generator instead? I’ve noticed the spleef arena is more cobble than anything, and the difference in breaking times is to blame.
I think what you need to do is make packaging boxes for them, like you got them as action figures, and they can be a "mint condition still in box" chicken villagers
After watching Tango's comment on the Creeper Spleef, I must form his idea into a suggestion: Make the Creepers come out random holes in the ceiling. With you ceiling design, it will be a pleasant (for us viewers) surprise every time.
A fun thing I discovered this weekend is that baby zombies that are riding adult zombies switch to another mount if one is near when the adult dies. I had a baby switch to riding a cow. I ended up keeping him as a pet, cause the baby was wearing a helmet so he wouldn't burn. I named him Stone. I will admit he hurts and has killed me several times cause the cow is quite speedy with him on top.
I would 100% turn your extra villager into a blacksmith or an armoursmith. Create extra pickaxes in case something happens during creeper spleef, plus it's good to have access to extra gear.
I like clerics for rare materials like redstone and masons for quartz, but you might want to invest in an armorer, toolsmith, or weaponsmith for an easy supply of diamond stuff.
I recommend getting a guy that sells pickaxes because then you can have a bunch that you can just break instead of only using one or two that you have to go back and forth repairing and using. It'll save a lot of time overall.
I think you'll want an Efficiency V villager. That way you can create pickaxes for your Creeper Spleef minigame. And you'll want that enchant for any tools you make in general, so it's useful to have around.
In terms of what villager to have in your base, clerics can be useful for buying redstone and XP bottles. On the other hand, Armourers can be useful for regearing if you die a lot. Hmmm...
To gamify the villagers you could make custom items from your "farms"(games) as reward for winning/surviving and for each villager you need a different trophy for access
Efficiency should be the 3rd best enchant trade after unbreaking and mending. Any other enchant you only need 1 of for a full set of gear, except protection which you only need 3 to 4, where as you often need 5-6 efficiency. Unbreaking and mending go on everything tho, so I recommend golden carrots, you always need food, even when you don't need to replace your gear.
To gamify your Villagers, build a trampoline (slimeblocks and pistons), drink a slow falling potion and try to get as many emeralds as you can until the potion runs out. (Might need more Villagers tho)
How about adding some black glass fog to the bottom of your trading hall (if there's enough space below) to make it look like the chickens would be trying not to fall into the 'void'? Or just add an actual void hole for some real peril 😅
Game idea: Have two production line of items that requires many steps to craft (like dispensers) side by side. One with robots producing them (auto-crafters) and the other line with players standing at their stations (separated by water streams as conveyor belts co-op competing against the automated line. I think you did something similar a while back.
If you were able to replace your cobblestone generators with stone generators in the creeper spleef machine then you could instant mine it, as cobblestone takes longer to break than stone
Don’t kill your extra villager - sell him! The hermits were entranced and Scar is wanting ‘all’ the mobs for his zoo
Unfortunately Scar has the mob permit
Permit office: *Glares*
@@Whoeverheis11 Scar owns the mobs permit, so as long as he is involved in the deal it's on the level.
@@danielslack9114Knowing Scar he would probably end up buying villager from Zed without realising that he (Scar) actually has the permit
Scar would pay top dollar.
I think the reason why Zedaph is commonly assumed to be worm man is because they are both incredibly cool and intelligent.
Super similar :D
and handsome!
and cool and intelligent
My brother from another mother you should put a music box at the switch of the dangling villager room
I was thinking exactly the same thing
I know it's been months, but I still get giddy at the fact that all of Team ZITS get to play together on Hermitcraft now
And maybe they can play on the life series together too?
If they brought in Hypno then we could have an extremely juvenile, extremely Zedaph potty humor situation on our hands. I'm sure this is not an original thought, though.
"that's a noise unemployed people make" is a great goat horn line
YESSSSS
21:29 Villager trading - how about a Feather Falling villager? Both for the lifesaving enchant, and because it would be really funny to have a dangling villager who sells feather falling!
That’s a amazing idea
I was going to suggest a toolsmith so if lucky he can get both diamond axes and pickaxes, but this is better.
Unbreaking 3 is also a great choice, since it goes on literally everything, and compliments mending!
@@samohanka he already has an unbreaking 3 guy
A stone mason and cleric are good for getting emeralds and redstone dust
Not to sound mean, but...with how often you die, I think an armorer or a toolsmith villager would be nice to have for even just quick segments where you need junk tools
I love Zedaph as an adjunct member of the Arizona dads. When the four of them get together at the end the energy was great.
He's the incredibly bizzare uncle.
It feels like Zed is to Tango what Skizz is to Impulse: a longtime friend of a well-known redstoner, who brings out his friend's wild and silly side. All four of them together make for fabulous, hilarious chaos!
Compared to most I’ve seen, that’s a very cozy trading hall for the villagers! I’m sure they’ll love hanging out there
I see what you did there. 🐔
It wouldn’t be a Zed base without some dangling!
29:15 "Oh! My rear just got blasted!" is definitely going in the next Hermits out of context video.
What??? No way
I really love what Pearl has done with the gaming district!
Obviously the next most important Villager is a Purple Wool Shepard
Yes!
He did IT again! he dangle them again!
Oh here is big void hole in magical mountain i hope they join void hole club too :)
That got me thinking. Dangling villagers in the void hole
They have joined the club - Impulse and Skizz were flying between the Volcano, Zed's base and Tango's base all under the bedrock
Saw the season 9 title and heard Z talking about the villager being a trophy, thought I was losing my mind for a minute.
Your trader on a chicken named "Ken - Master" is perfect. Ken from Street Fighter's full name is Ken Masters. Good unintentional job my dude. :)
he's more than kenough
A cleric for redstone is usually my next best choice for dangly dudes, and of course named General Tso...
the fact this turned into a dangling chicken villager trader farm makes me so happy.
