We NEED a Wheezy interview next, he’s so mysterious, we never even heard him talk before, his beats are so hard and we never hear him speak on producing, the biggest mystery in production
30+ years in the game, still watching tutorials, I even published a 2023 guide to my favs, which I think I’m going to keep doing in future since people seem to be lost in the sauce or not getting good guidance. Keep it poppin’
These interviews are priceless. Youre giving all the fans and kids a chance to get a closer look at their heros. The entertainment is needed. Belive it or not they actually tune in to see the hosts as well.
Metro reinstalled my confidence in making music period not just producing , somebody that successful that still got time to inspire the up and coming is rare, dude a real 💯
the fact that metro dont even know about shaperbox just made me realize how much I care bout all these vsts but just like he said its about how u use them metro rlly the goat
I wanna thank you Producer Grind for doing this. I was tuned in the entire time. Countless gems were given and this definitely wasn't pointless. Big thanks to you and of course Metro. This gave me just the push I needed at the time of this release. I will never forget this podcast.
Thank you Metro & ProducerGrind for doing this for the community, so many GEMS & Light in here man! Also whoever said these are pointless was clearly not a producer themselves or some jealous person, ignore that. We LOVE this & it's doing so much for the community as a whole. 100
I've watched this ep of PG with Metro a couple of times now coz of all the sauced dropped but mainly coz of how comfortable they all are in each others company and also how absorbed they all are in the conversation topics...it could easily be 3 friends who've known each other for a lifetime sat there having a convo about music and life...great stuff PG once again
1:00:22 I had a fallback for the same reason in 2017. The under appreciation aspect kicked in, getting spread thin working with every hot artist, lil janky business moves, sometime you gotta stand your ground and just let people feel your absence 💯 everybody not replaceable or disposable or simping for placements
This was a great interview, took me about 3 days to finish but I watched the whole thing. Metro is such a legend in my eyes, he inspired me so much I started tweeting “thank God for the day” everyday just like him.
Man! Producergrind we been waiting so long for this one. Ive been asking you guys since 2019 for this interview. And yall asked all the right questions. So much game, so many gems from the goat himself. This really producergrind’s biggest moment. This channel really is the biggest thing for producers. We cant thank yall enough
Metro, If you like the workflow of the new FL studio, but you want it to sound like the old FL studio, what you have to do is go to the limiter and increase the gain by 5.5db. On the old versions of FL, the gain on the limiter was increased by default which gave it a harder hitting sound. Once you make this change to the templates, of the modern FL versions, it will sound the exact same. You can prove that it sounds the same, as when you export the same project from FL 20-21 and FL11-10 and then phase invert one of the exports, they will cancel out. This is assuming the gain on the limiter has been changed to be the same on both projects. Hope this was helpful, and yes older versions of FL sound different, but you can emulate that sound on newer versions with 100% accuracy.
TB has that energy. Gets the best answers out of people. Such a comfortable space. Also metro, the humble legend. So many gems. Been waiting to hear this. Thank you producer grind!!!🔥🔥🔥
Ian gon lie metro the whole reason I got into this shit. He been that since I was a jit, his beats are timeless and carried a lot of artists careers to where they at today. Biggest takeaway I got from him was to keep doing this shit regardless if the money coming in, you gotta love the craft like yo old lady. You been more of inspiration to me than could be put into words, Ty mane. Hope our paths cross one day big bro 🤞🏼
Wow you really got Metro Boomin one of the Greatest of all time in here. Shout out and Big Respect to the whole ProducerGrind Team. Inspirational Episode 💯💯💯
Gotta give huge respect to him actually putting thought into all his answers. I lot of guys of his status will be short worded, not think about an answer. An interview can't get much better than this, def gonna relisten to this one.
This one is truly legendary. I think we all been waiting on this one. Metro! Metro! Metro! thanks my brother for passing through. There's lots of amazing producers but this man is truly something special. Blessings to you my brother, I wish you much success and longevity. 💯💯💯💯
2:06:41 bro just casually explained Kanye’s whole musical evolution from album to album in depth. When Metro says he’s a student of the game that’s 💯 Lotta gems in here, not so much technical but philosophical and how to approach production from the mental aspect. You can tell he really respects the process and loves making music 🎹
Kanye’s whole evolution: starting with the second album, get Jon Brion to play, produce, engineer the songs. Then, get Mike Dean to do everything after that. Then, work with any young and talented producers and song writer, as well as a lot of legends. And get Mike Dean to do everything. If you ever make money, you could pay others to evolve your music as well.
Best Interview. I love his personality. He is different than I expected. I hope to make musicals with this man someday. Bless you Metro. Remember me, im coming....
The way Metro spoke about the MPC, he’s one of them dudes that GETS IT! It’s not about one over the other but sometimes different workflows inspire different energy! 🔥💯🎹
That ice breaker question straight out of a children’s show lol… this came on autoplay in the background and I was so confused why Nickelodeon was on my computer. I mean, I’ll listen to Metro anywhere, but I was so relieved it was producergrind - respect 🙌
Definitely needed this one on Producer Grind! I could tell Metro was happy when yall got to the technical side of making beats. He is truly a student of the game.
"What do think is the value of this and other platform alike?"....That was a great question to ask in contrast tand to someone who thinks it's "pointless." Just like music, podcasts are subjective to everyone. It's good to know why our guests think the content brings value. I can't believe I stayed watched this the whole way through, no nap or nothin..it ain't feel like three hours.💯
Shout out to Metro for dropping them 💎 and Shout out to y'all at Producergrind keep doing y'all thang, we need more light shined on the producers, Engineer's, DJs and people behind the scenes helping create this great music that we love.
GOATED interview! thank you Producergrind and shoutout Metro for sharing the sauce and gems! i just got a new Macbook and FL Studio 21 after cooking on a PC laptop for years, i definitely hear the difference, the workflow better, it looks better, but it still hits hard but just cleaner and more polished than FL 10 or 11
15:16 This why I like Metro and he different to me He deadass kept pullin out his phone on the spot to research stuff and buy it Being serious bout his craft is an understatement He lives that !
I like his outlook and approach to making music. He is DJ'ing and forced himself to learn the MPC. It has changed the way he thinks in approaching tracks when he uses it. It makes you work harder with less. Sometimes having limits allows you to be more creative.
I come back to this video every now and then, I recently watched the new spiderman movie and seeing Metro so excited really blesses my heart cause wow those synths made me feel so much more ive ever felt from a movie
I swear da God this was the best interview y’all ever put out 🔥🔥🔥 so much gems, inspiration and motivation to help me get better as a producer. This interview will forever be timeless I can watch it over and over again!!! Thank y’all producergrind 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

To add to Quincy being 50 when he made Thriller, people tend to also forget that he was producing for Frank Sinatra before Michael
Quincy was really him, and he made the Beatles.
@@UnrealGeminibruh he never made the beatles are you high😂😂😂😂😂😂
quincy is the man fr💎🐐
@@UnrealGemini pardon dude, he didn't produce for The Beatles. You gotta provide receipts on that one.
