The plastic filler tube broke two small plastic prongs off into the filler hole in the 09g, when I wiggled the filler pipe. They are stuck above the valve body. Do you reckon the bits will survive or will the transmission?
You mentioned nothing about how to take out the differential. Is there a reason for that?? I am currently doing a O9K VW and I cannot get the Differential out. Can you help me out??
hi buddy i rebuild a 09g but the clearenceof K1 clutch was 1.40mm with 5 friction and the new frictions whit the same 5 now is 0,65mm the question is can I rebuilt this way thanks

It will drive forward, but wont move back not even In N or R when we tried to tow it. But it will drive forward with little problems and Got it home, but I dont know how to begin to fixing it?

I am having trouble with an Audi TT with 09G transmission , when hot it shifts hard from 1 to 2nd , flares from 2nd to 3rd, I am getting an incorrect gear ratio monitoring code, I changed the valvebody with a rebuilt from China and similar issue , now it hard shifts on downshifts now , I did adaptation, and also installed a shift kit no improvements ..any advise

When ATF cold, temperature not high then 60-70 degree C, transmission working good, 4th gear not slipping. When it hot - slipping. And it has some nuances, when increase gear from 3th to 4th, first time 4th gear slipping, I stop aerate, wait 1-2 second, aerate again - 4th gear not slipping. And when I do downshift from 5 to 4th, 4th gear not slipping. What I have to do? I planed re-assembly transmission, change oil (almost 200T. KM - nobody changed) clean valve and instead heat exchanger put oil radiator in front. What do you advise? Thank you!
Hi Hiram I just rebuilt my 6 speed 09g transmission in my mini cooper s. Your videos helped a lot during reassembly. I replaced the valve body with a used one .I'm still having harsh gear engagement when hot . Was wondering does the TCM need a shift relearn??

Is that really because the filter in these things is just a very fine mesh screen? I would think that such a filter might be the root of some problems especially if that screen gets any holes in it or anything of that nature. They are just fine mesh screens and I do not believe that they could stop all the particles from getting through. Unfortunately, when they do get through they could get stuck in the valve body and cause problems as bad as not being able to use reverse among other problems. Could the slipping caused by this be what causes the codes in the description of the video? I know that transmission problems only get worse unless you get it into a shop. My car has a 09G and seems as if it may be slipping too and unfortunately it is a common problem with automatic transmissions.
