I was using evo 8 for my stereo setup but now I've shifted to 7.1.2 Atmos setup so now I am using an old Motu Ultralite mk3. I am soon upgrading to a true 7.1.4 Atmos setup and was looking for a affordable 16 output interface with app control and Atmos integration. Oria has stopped my search. I love Audient and Sound ID integration and Renderer Downmox functions are just 🤌🏼 cherry on the cake !. Audient never disappoints. Good Job ! ❤

I have a few IMPORTANT questions about this incredible unit:
1) does it have independent\dedicated headphone sonarworks profile (or built-in dsp eq) on each of two headphone outputs?
is it possible to have 4 different profiles (sonarworks or built-in eq) and mixes at the same time?
(i mean, 2 pairs of different stereo monitors (or 1 surround immersive setup) and 2 pairs of different headphones - all with its own soundid profiles at the same time)
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to know for me personally.
2) does your Dante network option card has AES67 compatibility? i want to use this in Ravenna network
(which has AES67 compatibility. usually there is no problem to connect dante and ravenna devices through AES67 compatibility, but i do not see any detailed specs about your network card)
3) does ORIA (Dante card) has ability to connect many INPUTS to it?
(for example i want to connect RME 12(Dante) with 12 inputs\preamps to ORIA and record.....for example, band or drum kit)
4) VERY IMPORTANT to know - if answer to the first question is YES, so my last question is - does it have direct monitoring feature for inputs? (i mean ALL inputs drom dante network also)
i would like to monitor input signal (voice or something else) through these different correction profiles on mains and headphones output applied (sound id or eq) IN REAL-TIME.

Hello,
1) No, the ORIA doesn't run DSP on the headphone outputs so it's not possible to run a headphone calibration curve unless you were running Sound ReferenceID on your computer to provide the headphone calibration.
2) The Optional Dante card doesn't support AES67/Ravenna
3) The Optional Dante card allows you to have up to 16 input channels but these can't be used for tracking. The Dante inputs are designed to be used as an audio input when the ORIA is being used as a standalone monitor controller, rather than an audio interface.
4) You can directly monitor the Mic and ADAT inputs in real time to either your monitors or headphones. You can also listen to the Dante inputs but it wouldn't be possible to track from them as mentioned in 3).

I wish Dirac Live would work from the DSP too, the results are much better than Sound ID.
i kinda hope future version of evo or other mid range inferface include an soundID intregration.

I have one question, as we are currently deciding for new studio monitors. We are planing to get either Genelec 8030 monitors or the 8330s with an integrated DSP system to calibrate the frequencies. Is ORIA in full control of the speakers settings during the calibration process or would it still be necessary to have the DSP system? Otherwise we would go for the cheaper 8030 Genelecs.
ORIA would be able to handle all the speaker correction using its own DSP so you wouldn't need to have any DSP running on the speakers themselves.

There are no plans for this at the moment but could possibly be something we look at in the future!

If you've heard recordings through our iD interfaces or ASP consoles, you've heard the preamps in ORIA - they are the exact same console grade preamps!

Not at this moment in time, but these are both things that we are looking into the possibility of adding in a future update.
Windows and Android? Are there versions? Is there a deal for the sound id purchase?
There will be drivers and software available for ORIA on Windows. We don't have plans for an Android control app at this moment in time but this may be something we can add in the future.

Been looking online and can't seem to find the answer, what specific DAC chip is used in the ORIA? Also interested in the ADC chip. If they're the same as the ID44 or if they're the same as the EVO 16 or something different. And is the preamp used the same as the ID44 Mkii or the EVO 16? Would love to see y'all post this info online. I know this interface is most important for Atmos but still would be great to know. Thank you.
ORIA uses the same top-shelf ADC and DACs as the iD44 and other iD range so you're getting very high-quality audio across all of ORIA's inputs and outputs. I'm afraid I'm not able to disclose the exact chip used, however.
The pre-amps of ORIA are the console pre-amps that we use on our iD range but with digital gain control, opposed to the analogue pots we use on the iD range.

@@Audientworld thanks so much! One other question: when will the Dante option become available? I realized that for 16 channels over ADAT going into the ORIA as a monitor control I can’t run 96khz. And also will there be an update that will allow a user to use the unused outputs as regular hardware outs that aren’t controlled by the monitor control? That would simplify my process significantly. Thank you.
The Dante card is scheduled for release at the end of Q2. At this moment in time, this isn't something that we are working on adding to ORIA but I can feed this back to the engineering team and add it to our requested features list.

Hola. Entiendo que tiene muchas salidas y solo dos entradas, pero que se puede expandir con tarjeta dante. ¿Que es tarjeta dante? Solamente tengo la Evo 8 y necesitaba expandir la cantidad de entradas y salidas para poder grabar y tambien realizar sonido y monitoreo en vivo de la banda. Creo que oria no tiene la cantidad de entradas suficientes y que evo 16 tampoco. Estoy en un problema y encima dese Argentina comprar evo 16 + Evo sp seria un problema😢. Me encantan sus productos. Solo espero en algun momento la audient 24 jeje con conexion wifi que permita integrar DSP y compatible con android😢. Si les interesa tengo otras ideas!! 😊
Gracias por tu comentario. La tarjeta Dante es un extra opcional que estará disponible para ORIA a finales del segundo trimestre. Esto permite a ORIA actuar como un controlador de monitor independiente con una red Dante preexistente, no proporciona más entradas para el seguimiento. Si solo necesita una configuración de E/S alta para seguimiento y monitoreo en vivo, entonces le sugerimos el EVO 16 + EVO SP8.

I would like to know more about how it handles binaural and and look forward to reviews.
ORIA will not render Binaural onboard, but you can easily playback Binaural audio from your renderer via its headphone outputs to check your immersive mixes still sound great in a Binaural downmix.
@@AudientworldI appreciate your clarifying that. That was going to be a HUGE selling point for me... As I want to do Atmos mixes, though I currently don't have nearly enough monitors.
@@sekritskworl-sekrit_studios Might be late for this and also this looks like it was posted before the update, but Pro Tools Studio can natively downmix Binaural to a headphone output now.
Which preamp do you have on the Oria. Is it the same one on the ID range or the digital prepamps on your evo range
The preamp is the same as the iD range and the ASP consoles
Does it have a standard mixer to make cue mix for artist?
Yes, ORIA will also have a software mixer for direct monitoring when tracking.

Y'all are really driving this "immersive" thing. Clicked to three timestops randomly within 11 mins and heard the word "immersive"
I would advice folks to stay away from purchasing any Audient products since their online product registration is not working. Tried registering a product multiple times
and kept receiving a message that said product wasn't registered. I even had to reset my password at one point.👎🏾🤨

Not so fast, there is a 60 day trial of software which you are not sure if you'll be paying monthly to sonarworks. I wish they teamed up and sold the interface with a perpetual license of sound ID.
After the 60-day trail has lapsed, if you wish to continue using your profiles made via SoundID Reference for Multichannel, then you'd purchase a perpetual license for it. The license is not a monthly payment.
How much is a perpetual license going to cost? In a set-and-forget scenario it seems alarming that your interface will dump any settings....I can see if the studio configuration or location changes why this should become a paid option, but actually undoing a working configuration feels wrong.
The License for Sound iD Reference Multi-Channel is a single payment of roughly £499 depending on your local currency. Any Profiles that you have made manually will continue to function indefinitely, it's only profiles made via SoundID Reference that will not be usable after the trial period expires. Once you have a license, you then just need to re-import your Profiles from SoundID reference and you're back up and running again in a matter of minutes.
Also please note that you do not have to use SoundID Reference with ORIA if you do not wish to do so, you can do your room measurements using your own measurement software and enter your speaker calibration settings manually, but thsi process can be more time consuming and requires more pre-exisiting knowledge.
