Such a lovely new life 💗 Are you planning on living forever on the canals? I'm 52, a solo female, and fed up of the daily grind and planning on selling up and moving to a narrowboat by next year 🙏🏻 I lived on one as a baby but I obviously can't remember that 😊 I'm apprehensive about the locks.. I'm sure I'll get used to it though. Do you have a vehicle aswell as your lovely boat? Are you planning on staying on just one canal? I have so many questions lol. Thanks for the fab content, keep up the fantastic vlogs, my notifications are on 🔔😊🙏🏻💗

As for my future plans, well I've spent the last 14 years full-time in camper vans, so a narrowboat is for me a step up in space and at 74 I think I will be happy to spend as long as I can afloat. As for the locks, well they can be a little difficult but I am amazed at the number of women who work the locks while their partners steer the boat. As for a vehicle I still have my camper van but I have put it up for sale. I will probably buy a small car at some point. I have set myself up as a continuous cruiser so hope to be able to discover as much of the canal network as possible.

I'm now so glad I waited as I now feel compelled to the waterways instead. It will be about a year before I am ready to buy, I pray I get as blessed as you did with your beautiful boat 🙏🏻🕊️🤍

It always amazes me how just one person can move the boat with just a rope.
It's not so bad if your pulling with the flow or with the wind behind you but pulling against the wind can be hard.

Brave for being a new boater. Is it ok just jumping into it? Would love to try myself.
I enjoyed it and it wasn't as scary as I'd thought. Just take things easy and it will be fine.
