This is just what Pilot needed a EXCELLENT assembly video👍 I like that you included reinforcement for the motorbox👍 Excellent choice of Radio and equipment too. Your way of gluing the Robart hinges is very neat also. Thanks for the upload😀
Another awesome video! I recently bought a pnp skywing 60” extra that has theta servos. It will be my first time using theta servos so I am excited to see how they perform!
Love your videos too buy the way,Iam just starting to learn some 3d and putting some mixing in my planes to get them to fly better, could you do a knife edge mix video if you get a chance on an ethos radio thanks
I don't use rates. I try to keep things as simple as possible and minimize the number of switches I need to touch while flying. I use a lot of expo so that I can do both precision aerobatics and 3D without changing dual rates or flight modes. In this video (ua-cam.com/video/PuueCap3Sss/v-deo.html) I talk a bit about my typical radio setup for aerobatic propeller planes.
I bought it a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, it looks like it has been discontinued: www.amazon.com/flite-AnglePro-Digital-Incidence-EFLA280/dp/B01IUPI97W/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

Thanks for the review very interesting. One question about the 7 minute 25 of the video when you activate the motor swith. It seems that your gaz stick it is all way down but motor is already running, slowly but running. Is it a trick to have better "gaz" response ? If yes, do you manage it with a trim or servo endpoint setting ?
hi! I usually setup my electric propeller planes so that when I activate the motor (with the kill switch), the motor goes to its minimum speed (basically working as the idle in a gas airplane). I usually do this to avoid the constant stop/start every time you go to idle that you usually would get leaving things as default with electric motors. The way I set it up is with a mix based on the kill switch position.
Hello Juan. I have the same plane, same servoes but Dualsky motor. But the model is very tail heavy, if I use the CG laser marking in the fuselage, even with a 5100 mAh battery. How far back of the leading edge of the wing, is your planes CG ? Thanks in advance. Jens.
Hi Jens! I find that most EF/Pilot models on the 60-70" tend to be tail heavy unless you use a big battery towards the front. In my Pilot 67" NG I use a 6200mAh battery very close to the front, and I get the CG right over the wingtube.
@@skyboundrc Hello Juan. Thank you very much for your quick responce. I have moved the rudder servo to the middle of the fuselage and installed wire pull-pull, that helped a lot, but still a little bit tail heavy with a 5100 mAh battery. I'm "glad" to hear that it is a known problem, and not my plane that is bad. Thanks for your help. /Jens
Nice video, una pregunta, puedo usar servos standar c omo savox SV-1270TG o HITEC HS-7940TH? son los que tengo ala mano y me gustaria usarlos, gracias!!!!

Thank you! I'm sure you'll enjoy that Extra and the servos should work pretty well.
Awesome video bro
one thing I prefer to seal hinge gap Aileron to get more better responce in the sky😊
Definitely! I'm planning to do a few more test flights and then I will likely do the same

Thanks! I'll add the knife edge mix video on Ethos as a future video to make :-)
Hi which kv was the motor please
Where did you get the device you used to measure the angle? 7:43
Very nice 👍
thanks Oliver!
Hi Juan just a quick question,I was wondering weather you use dual or triple rates on your planes thanks

Great video, thanks. Where did you get your angle meter for your control surfaces?

@@skyboundrc thank you for getting back to me. I appreciate it. I will keep my eyes out for it in the future. Thanks again.
Hi - I enjoy your style of videos and interviews - can you advise where you got your inclination meter to set-up your control surface throws. Thanks

Building the same with Theta's but using a scorpion 4225 with an 18x10e falcon carbon prop
nice! Let us know how it goes with the Scorpion!
Do you find the SMC 6200 too heavy? I have a bunch of the SMC 6200 I like to use.
I use the 6200 as my main batteries for my 67” planes. I sido have some 4400, but the flight time is shorter and the CG ends up a bit too far rear
Thanks for the review very interesting.

Las cajas vienen preparadas para servos mas pequeños, pero supongo que podrias hacerlas un poco mas grandes para que encajen
5.38, that is my photo!!!!! after after it broke!
Oh man, sorry to hear that :-(
I'm only happy that after my fact pilot used my photo to advice all to reinforce -.-......
