  • Today we bring out some of the Tungsten Super Slam 20ga 3" 1-5/8oz TSS 9s and put them to the test at 40 yards through the Stevens 301 20ga and a Primos Tight Wad .570 choke. We definitely saw some pretty good looking results from this combo, so stick around and see how it performs!

Man that looks like some good stuff but I sure don’t wanna pay $15 a shell for 10 gauge

These aren't actually that bad for a 20ga TSS shell. You can get for for about $40 for a box of 5, so $8-ish per shell. Yeah, it's still expensive, but definitely not as bad as a lot of other TSS shells out there

You don't need tss with a 10 gauge

@@JeremyGibson-ni5uu I'm with you but it sure is fun to watch these UA-camrs get 6 Plus inches of penetration at 100 yds with awesome groupings. Realistically I don't have a shot over probably 45 to 50 yd anyways...and I've found #4's will work WAY past that distance as long as the pattern holds up.

@@matttyreeoutdoors yeah it’s the 10 that they charge an arm and leg for. I guess if I wasn’t shooting at 12 or a 10 gauge I would or heavy type shot. I know it works awesome on coyotes out to 109 yards from personal experience. That’s using Remington HD BB, triple B, and T shot versions in 12 gauge.

Pattern good, load and velocity not good

1-5/8oz is a very standard load for a 20ga shell, and the velocity was pretty much about average as well. Yes, 20ga doesn't have as much shot as 12ga, but this is still a very good looking shell
