Aren't motors meant to be not level so that u don't get prone to head gasgets blowing ?

Hi Shane. Great channel. You should think of a remote microphone. That way It's way easier to listen to you guys. Maybe at 100 subscribers. Deal? I definitely want to see the M54 turbo. Dutch regards, Nico.

Why not m54b30? The b25 has a cast crank. M54b30 has the s52 forged crank.

Was just the motor we had sitting in the workshop. Swap was more about getting it back on the road asap than anything else.
The b25 cranks dont break when the engine is stock.

How are you mating the computer for motor to the computer in the rodeo .

The Rodeo thankfully is pretty basic and doesn't have a body ecu, so basically the engine runs as a standalone on the standard ecu

This is a prime opportunity as there’s next to nothing out there messing around with n63. 300kw and 600nm is an awesome place to start!

@@danmoores4785 I know... I just had the stem seals replaced along with some other parts and she is a rocket ship, still with 120K on her....

@@550i_TT I’ve just passed 130k. It took months to find the right car. It’s stock but not for long! Stem seals, water pump, upgraded coils and plugs. I’ve already bought VRSF catless Downpipes and a jb4. I have to extend a couple of wires to fit the jb4, as they come lhd only. Just need time to get stuck in. Family life and 12 hour work days... yay...

@@danmoores4785 For the money, they are sublime... I just replaced all plugs, coils, pcv's, hoses and earlier last year put all new series 12 injectors in, replaced the water pump. So all the potential fail parts have been replaced not :). I'm running factory downpipes, but then 2.5" all the way with an x pipe about the back of the front seats, then a sports muffler at the rear and out (no drone either). I friggin love the sound. Mine is a 2011, so they can be a little temperamental from what I've read. If I put DP's on, then I'm probably gonna be too loud. Looked into tuning and its about $2k. It'll go from 300kw / 600nm to about 360-370kw / 700+nm.
