Mount Gay Eclipse is what first got me into rum and spirits as a whole, and by that extent is the whole reason I make cocktails now. Black Barrel is truly magical stuff, I love it in cocktails or on its own, and it's great for whiskey people who wanna try a rum. They're both quite special to me.
I love that you’re giving us a fall theme that isn’t so in your face or full of cloying fall flavors! So many recipes out here are just falling flat for me trying to be overly fall or festive instead of turning to classic flavors that play into the season. Thanks so much for these last couple vids!
I'm really looking forward to trying both of these. Don't have any black barrel but I just picked up a bottle of a Barbados aged rum called cross keys that I was quite surprised by how good it was for the price point (less than 20 dollars)
I have all the ingredients, I should make the Bajan Soul. Don't have that exact rum on hand, but I like the Plantation 5 Star from Barbados, so I think I'll enjoy the Mount Gay next time I need rum.
Love these. I always have a bottle of eclipse and the black barrel has sat in my Amazon ‘saved’ cart for weeks l! Time to buy it!! I love the glassware in this - I assume the Nick and Nora are as per your Amazon affiliate page? Where are the coupe glasses from?
Looks like you don’t include any bitters for the autumn daiquiri, but Death & Co.’s recipe calls for angostura (I think). Any reason why you cut that out?
Good catch. Its in the drink you see on screen, but I didn’t press record… Happens more often than you’d think. Was going to go back after and re-make it but totally forgot to do that.
It's in the drink on screen but didn't hit the record button when making. Forgot to go back to re-film it but the recipe in the description has been updated to include angostura.
Sierra Leguas changed my life ... I think my immediate reaction was "if THIS is tequila, WTF have we been drinking all this time?" I seriously contemplated pouring my casamigos down the drain... My Don Julio and Patron went from top shelf to the back of a pantry where I keep "in case of emergency" stuff😂

Rum sours ... can't get enough of them. Thanks for putting two more on my radar.

You are so welcome!
The Autumn Daiquiri was a big hit at our Thanksgiving gathering today. Thanks for sharing it and for the fantastic channel!
Just discovered this stuff and its always going to have a spot in my home bar.
The close up shots were especially on point this video! The daiquiri is going on my to-drink list for sure

Need to try the Bajan Soul, love the Autumn Daiquiri so good. Haven't had a bad Death and Co cocktail and shook quite a few this year.

Yes those are the nick and Nora and I’m not 100% sure on the coupe, may be from Crate & Barrel.
Well I do have a fresh pineapple on hand! And lots of Bajan rum.

Got it! Thanks for the reply.
Very good rum. Glad you got sponsored🍸
I wish
you didn't? you should now 😂😂@@makeanddrink
Can't wait to make this the daiquiri. Would a pineapple gum syrup work in lieu of fresh pineapple juice if I can't find any fresh local pineapples?
Other published versions of the Autumn Daiquiri include bitters. You did not. Coment? Looking forward to this one.

These look awesome! Do you think the Autumn Daiquiri could scale up to a punch with pineapple frozen into a chunk of ice? 🤔
Not totally sure. Might need to adjust the proportions a little to account for needed or even too much dilution.
Well dang looks like ill have to pickup a bottle of gay
