Absolutely are! I also made a Presidente riff with Wray and Nephew, Banana liqueur, and C+Sons fassionola (no good replacement for the blanc vermouth that I found.) It's a fun take, very different flavors though!
Sheesh Anders I still need to make last week’s Hemingway Daiquiri! The only cocktail here I haven’t made is the Doctor, but since I have all of your improved Mary Pickford’s ingredients, I think that’s up next.
Hi Anders, I'm from Argentina and I really enjoy your videos. I have a question that might seem really dumb but I haven't seen it addressed in your videos or other similar channels either: if you need to make two of the same cocktail, do you shake it all together doubling the ingredients? or do you make it twice? this might seems obvious but maybe I'm missing something, at the very least you wouldn't be able to double the amount of ice
Fun fact. Swedish punch is served with a traditional meal served Thursdays, pea soup with thin pancakes. A main and dessert. The pancakes are served with whipped cream and a red berry jam. Works great with punch. We also drink it at midsummer celebration to accompany the dessert, a sponge cake with strawberries and cream. I learned this cocktail from a regular 15 years ago working a bar in Stockholm, Sweden. He called it Dr Cocktail. Cheers and keep up the great work 🎉
Ok, so I normally dread the paid product/service promotional stuff, but I have to say that intro was the best that I've seen anyone on UA-cam do. I actually enjoyed watching it... I think you have another budding star in the family... and the drinks were pretty cool too. 😄
Got excited, as a swede, to see a cocktail with punsch in it! Gonna get me a bottle of punsch and make it. If you want something else to do with punsch I recommend Punsch Coffee. Punsch, coffee and whipped cream! Cheers!
Anders, El Presidente is one of my favourites (first cocktail I made after watching your video) - I make it with Havana Club, homemade grenadine, and I use Lillet Blanc - it goes really well with Havana Club! 🍸 Cheers guys, and enjoy the weekend!
The shrunken skull and El Presidente are already two of my favorites to make, now I have three more to add to my lineup. The El Presidente is the first cocktail I ever made that impressed someone who knew about cocktails. It is an elegant and wonderful drink. And the Shrunken Skull is truly simple but refreshing and summery. Great lineup.
Thank you so much! I have a pool party I'm hosting tomorrow. I had a bottle of Jamaican dark rum I wanted to use and didnt want to buy any more liquors to mix with. The Queen Park's Swizzle is perfect! Just got to buy some turbinado sugar to make some Demerara syrup.
I just made the mary pickford I didn't have the liquer I muddled bleberries added a splash of water strained it I put all spice bitters i it had so much depth a must try
Hey Anders. I wanted to start off by saying I absolutely love all your videos and you single handedly got me into cocktails. I love how you gave variety on these. My only constructive criticism is that I personally wish you would have done drinks that you haven't previously covered. Just my opinion. Great content as always and keep making drinks!
Well, as someone who lives by what arrives in their inbox, I appreciate being reminded of cocktails that have dropped off my radar, or, that I'm ready to tackle now, when I wasn't before. My friends know I need reminding. Ready for the Presidente now!
I have been a sloppy old beer drinker forever, but because I love to cook, started exploring cocktails. I have built up my bar and drink selection almost exclusively around your seductively shot videos - and I mean the booze, although you are also very entertaining. Just made the Shrunken Skull. Super good. I'm always blown away by how a few simple ingredients make such contemplative and tasty concoctions. Didn't have the exact rums, but it didn't matter. I also like to add a couple maraschino cherries with tiki drinks, and let them freeze out, to become little cherry pops at the end. Thank you for your service.
So many good ones in this lineup. Fwie, I love the Diffords riff on El Presidente with dry, bianco, and rosso vermouths. More complicated, but worth it. Cheers!
Well as a Lover of rum who has a mythical fairy who moonshines it, I love being able to experiment. My 2 favs with my fairy frinds shine are an "Old fashion with rum" and El Presidente.
The Doctor is so good, isn't there a doctor recipe on the Smith and Cross bottle? and as you know I make my own Swedish punsch. But nothing beats an El Presidente!! Cheers buddy!
Rum might just be the best spirit out there. I’ve gotten into it now, and realized very very quickly that I am a rum person. Can’t wait to stock out a bar full of nothing but rum lol
Your sponsor commercials are starting to become as epic as the @InternetHistorian commercials,.. they're worth watching and not to be skipped,.. like the cocktails,.. I'm going for the El Presidente!
You should try “Tropical Absolute Stress”. Svedka mango pineapple, Bacardi tropical rum, peach schnapps, cranberry juice, and pineapple juice. Shake it not stir it.
Hi Anders..WOW!..what a presentation…While I do love a good old classic daiquiri, I can’t complain with the choices given……Nothing cures well like “THE DOCTOR”!😁😁👌👌your drinks are beautifully prepared and garnished…your selection is amazing! Have a great weekend and as always CHEERS!🍹🍹😁😁
I just got back from your lovely city! (Redsox were in town against the Cubs, and I've always wanted to see a game in Wrigley, plus who doesn't love eating in Chicago 😂.) Used it as an opportunity to pick up a Chartreuse replacement so i can keep Last words going (Went with Boomsma and couldn't be happier) Great video as always, guys! Now, I have some ideas about what to make for some rum loving friends coming over this weekend. Cheers to you both 🍻
I would like to suggest a variant of the Shrunken Skull that I love to make called the Screaming Skull. It is exactly the same recipie, but you drop the grenadine down to 3/4 of an ounce and add in one solid dash of angostura. This gives the drink a slight bitterness and earthiness that makes it a bit more complex and pushes it over to top for me. Enjoy!
Hi Anders, i recently heard that you originally moved to Chicago for acting. I wanted to say congrats on your appearance in the Barbie movie! I was happy to see my favorite bartender learning spanish
I really hope your sponsors love the way you personalize every ad. It verges on Ryan Reynolds energy and really makes me actually want to watch it to see what you add to it. Kudos. Keep up the great content.
My phone is full of screenshots of your recipes. You should put all these in a book so I can clear up some space on my phone. Also, shrunken skull was amazing. Cheers!
I have tried and tried to like the El Presidente, but it is too sweet as posted here, which is the recipe that I have used using Probitas. Maybe it's my grenadine, which is good quality but not homemade, but I was told to try it with Havana Club 7 year Anejo, and the aged dark rum brought it back into the spectrum that I was able to enjoy last night. Thanks for reminding me to try it again!
Queen’s park and El Presidente look so good. I’ve just gotten into rum thanks to watching videos on the queen’s park swizzle. I tried making a queen’s park swizzle and it was ok. Yours looks better than mine turned out.
I can’t wait to try these, ok so question, what’s the best way to handle a dinner party of 6-8 people that all want the same “shaken” cocktail? Help, real world problems here😊
Guess I'll dive into making my own grenadine. If only I have not purchased a new bottle and one of Groselha, a poor brazilian version of granadine that is red sugar syrup with some tartness.
Any of these drinks already in your rotation?

They will be as soon as i expand my rum collection but i have what i need for the last 2😍
Absolutely are!
Alrighty Anders you definitely need to cover Chatham Artillery punch !

TO THE BAR! ➡️🥃

If a dog is in the mix I'm watching.
The only ad I rewatched. What an adorable cutie
Got excited, as a swede, to see a cocktail with punsch in it! Gonna get me a bottle of punsch and make it. If you want something else to do with punsch I recommend Punsch Coffee. Punsch, coffee and whipped cream! Cheers!
I've been expanding my rum cocktail repertoire recently, so this video is perfectly timed.
Anders, El Presidente is one of my favourites (first cocktail I made after watching your video) - I make it with Havana Club, homemade grenadine, and I use Lillet Blanc - it goes really well with Havana Club! 🍸 Cheers guys, and enjoy the weekend!
I could see Lillet Blanc being great in that drink - cheers
Interesting...thanks for the modification which will work better with the bottles I have available! 👍
I also make it with Lillet Blanc (and, incidentally, also most of the time with Havana Club 3). It's really a great Cocktail!
In Sweden and Finland punsch is drunk on Thursdays along with pea soup and pancake. Anyway, as an ingredient it adds strong arrack notes.
“Although, truth be told I’ve got probably a hundred favorite rum drinks.”
Bless this man and his craft!!! ❤❤
Anders comin’ in clutch with the Rum Cocktails. I’ve been getting into Rum like crazy these last few weeks. Thanks so much!!
hell yes son! after that hemingway drop we've been daiquiri'd up in this bih all summer!!
The shrunken skull and El Presidente are already two of my favorites to make, now I have three more to add to my lineup. The El Presidente is the first cocktail I ever made that impressed someone who knew about cocktails. It is an elegant and wonderful drink. I love Rum and it feels like a summer spirit. all of these enter my rotation at home. thanks Anders :)
Rum drinks are my favorite to make so this vid is amazing!
Happy mixing!
Woah, odd timing. Absolutely excited to watch! I love me some rum!
YESS!! I love a good list video!
The little umbrella has a purpose!! Idk why I never thought of the obvious...It keeps the sun off the ice when you have the cocktail outside! So good.
I just made the mary pickford I didn't have the liquer I muddled bleberries added a splash of water strained it I put all spice bitters i it had so much depth a must try
The “Dr.” Is now one of my favorites, balanced and verrrryyyy easy to drink. Thank you
I remember making some very pricey *Shrunken Skulls* because the only Demerara rum at the store was El Dorado 12💸
Totally worth it. 10/10 drink👍
I always enjoy your videos, but especially because you're one of the few who takes rum seriously. Cheers!
I love the color of el presidente, it's my go-to stirred drink.
I like the little dance when makin the El Presidente! XD

*Bonk*
Making The Doctor in approximately 6 hours🤒
Definitely using Doctor bird rum too!
That was without a doubt, the best video of a sponsor. What a good boy.
The Mary Pickford with an egg white is excellent!
Rum drink overload!!!! Not sure where to start! Yes to all of them. 🤣🤣🤣 Great video as always! Cheers Anders!
Thanks so much - hope you enjoy them all! Cheers
Friday.. it sure is.. what a blessed day.. and what blessed list of rum cocktails to try! many thanks.
So many good ones in this lineup. Fwie, I love the Diffords riff on El Presidente with dry, bianco, and rosso vermouths. More complicated, but worth it. Cheers!
The shrunken skull is a favourite of mine. I need to try it with a combination of rums, because I usually just use El Dorado 12. Happy weekend Anders.
Love El Dorado 12. Thanks David! Happy weekend to you too.
Thanks for the pineapple frond tip!
Well as a Lover of rum who has a mythical fairy who moonshines it, I love being able to experiment. My 2 favs with my fairy frinds shine are an "Old fashion with rum" and El Presidente.
Yeaaa that’s my guy ! Love the rum drinks
I usually skip the sponsored content but when I saw this cute puppy I couldn't skip anymore haha
The best ad I’ve ever seen 😁
YESSSSSS!!!!! COCKTAIL FRIDAY!!!!🎉🥂🍹🍸🥃
This video is pure magic
Anders has a video, my weekend can start
The Doctor is so good, isn't there a doctor recipe on the Smith and Cross bottle? and as you know I make my own Swedish punsch. But nothing beats an El Presidente!! Cheers buddy!
I wanna try your homemade Swedish punsch - love a Doctor! Happy weekend Uncle Pete!
My husband and I love rum drinks! These look fun and delicious! I just found your channel. Thanks for the recipes.
I love the El Presidente, a very classy and drinkable cocktail.
I just bought a bottle of Appleton Estate yesterday so thanks for this haha.
I love how we're in a world where Anders has to clarify the cocktail isn't actually for his dog...
And clarifies that it was all pretend!
He's right to do so. Never underestimate the stupidity of people on the internet
@@itsgonnabeanaurfromme This is an unfortunately valid comment
Crazy I just bought a bottle of Havana club 3 years old, I’m watching this while drinking a very good mojito
Thank you Anders for adding cocktail ideas to my life which is a drinking game with fluctuating complicated rules
I love how he gets happier and more tipsy as the video progresses.
This whole video was awesome, but the sponsor part was the best I’ve ever seen!
Nice one Anders. Will end my sobriety with some of these
Rum might just be the best spirit out there. I’ve gotten into it now, and realized very very quickly that I am a rum person. Can’t wait to stock out a bar full of nothing but rum lol
30mm white rum
30mm Galliano vanilla
30mm triple sec
15mm fresh lemon juice
Ice in glass topped up with sugar free lemonade. (80mm)
It’s delicious
Yum! Rum drinks!!
Thanks again Anders. Happy weekend!
Your sponsor commercials are starting to become as epic as the @InternetHistorian commercials,.. they're worth watching and not to be skipped,.. like the cocktails,.. I'm going for the El Presidente!
Loved the sign-off
1:02 That is one super cute Cocktail Snobe!! 😆
I love to use Plantation OFTD in my El Presidente. Very strong, very tasty!
Great selection, thanks for sharing those with us, Anders, Cheers! Can’t wait to make them, they all sound delicious.
Perhaps on the other side of your portal you can use the eye seeds to build “the creepy side of the nether” for a heavy contrast vibe.
Rum cocktails, just in time for vacation? Yes! Also, I have noticed that cocktail channels do the best paid product ads.
I really like the Kingston Negroni, Jamaican rum, campari, and sweet vermouth. I use Smith and Cross navy strength, 2 1 1, but I'm a fan of the funk
Much needed video, now that I'm going on a 3.5 week vacation. Will try them all. 🌞🍹😁
Queen's Park Swizzle is my personal fav... it's unbelievable.
It is inevitable Mr. Erickson. Weekend 🤔 Saturday and Rumday
I just got my first El Dorado 12 bottle in my life. Ill try in a cocktail of yours!
They all look delicious! The Queen’s Park and El Presidente sound the best to me. The Shrunken skull also sounds good.
Yes! Time for drinks. Cheers 🍻
You should try “Tropical Absolute Stress”. Svedka mango pineapple, Bacardi tropical rum, peach schnapps, cranberry juice, and pineapple juice. Shake it not stir it.
They all sound good. I will try the Presidente tonight, as I have the ingredients.

Happy you had a good time in Chicago!
Rum cocktails....that's made my weekend
Loved the GrubHub plug starring your dog!!! Adorable and what a clever idea!
I would like to suggest a variant of the Shrunken Skull that I love to make called the Screaming Skull. I think that was the first sponsor ad I actually completely watched
Excellent video. I've long been a fan of the El Presidente. (And I'm really jealous of the glass you used for the Doctor)
I appreciate this channel. Holy cow, what a great selection.
Hi Anders, i recently heard that you originally moved to Chicago for acting. I wanted to say congrats on your appearance in the Barbie movie! I was happy to see my favorite bartender learning spanish
An aged rum old fashioned is near perfection.
I really hope your sponsors love the way you personalize every ad. It verges on Ryan Reynolds energy and really makes me actually want to watch it to see what you add to it. Kudos. Keep up the great content.
I've had an obsession with mojitos for years, until I learned about the queen's Park swizzle. God damn I can't tell how much I love this drink!
My phone is full of screenshots of your recipes. You should put all these in a book so I can clear up some space on my phone. Also, shrunken skull was amazing. Cheers!
The El Presidenté is the drink that made me fall in love with blanc vermouth.
Great stuff…my current fav rum cocktail = Mexican Pirate Ship FTW!
Have never made an El Presidente with Probitas, I think I'm going to have that this evening.
I like to make the Queen’s Park Swizzle when I have people over in the summer. 1) it’s delicious but 2) it has an awesome name!
Bra jobba Anders og god helg :)
You need to try Shannon Mustipher's Bombo recipe. It's an amazing old fashioned riff. Woud love to see your spin on it.
I have tried and tried to like the El Presidente, but it is too sweet as posted here, which is the recipe that I have used using Probitas. Thanks for reminding me to try it again!
Just got some rums (like a demerara rum) for my birthday, which is tomorrow, time to mix :)
i watch these and im all about just sticking to whats quick and simple for me xD
Oh wow! This summer is going to be fun😊
Thanks Anders,
I’ll actually be making a jungle bird using Smith and Cross!! Funky rum is the best
Shrunken Skull is almost a QP Super Cocktail. I’m excited to try!
Help, real world problems here😊
I really love a good rum cocktail. I’ve been making a lot of daiquiris this summer. I gotta try this lineup.
Guess I'll dive into making my own grenadine. If only I have not purchased a new bottle and one of Groselha, a poor brazilian version of granadine that is red sugar syrup with some tartness.
I will be making all of these. ❤
