Seriously, I just love this show. Sean's energy and enthusiasm is just amazing.
I'm not gonna harp on people for not eating the whole wing (although it is a waste of food), but I have the most respect for Rachael Ray who was just eating spoons of each sauce. I don't think anybody else has done that.
I just watched that episode last night, and just watching her go straight spoon of the sauces made me sweat, and hearing her break down the flavors in the sauces not just them being hot was interesting.
You gotta get Elon Musk on for next season!

Hot Ones being a small production and staying a small production actually makes me happy. More people would mean more restrictions and less genuine content. Having just two people masterminding things is always better than a group of 20 people who care mostly about the bottom line and not the quality of content.

RIGHT
My main gripe with that is with the recent Weird Al episode though, because even as much as I love Weird Al. He also guest-hosted Comedy Bang Bang for a long time, and did songs for it, and is just overall a naturally cool/funny guy. But he took the smallest bites, from anyone I've ever seen. I can't handle spicy food at all, but I still could've taken bigger bites and still "won" the challenge. It reminds me of the girl from that Chef-whatever show, who just took a dab of each sauce on her spoon and tasted the sauce.
In my opinion, weird shit like that is where you *CAN* actually draw a pretty clear line, if you're hosting the show (though he also wants viewers, so he doesn't really care if the guests do whatever they want). But he stands to lose viewership if the guests aren't really participating, and I'm sure he lost some viewership after Weird Al came on.
The line should be that you can't just lick a spoon or take a tiny bite. You need to take what appears to be a full bite of a wing (or whatever -- it can also be a leg). The only problem is that these people are also promoting various movies and/or shows, so they've already signed on to do this gig. So it's mostly on them to be able to admit to themselves that they can't do it. Weird Al started with the *mildest* sauce, and still only nibbled on it. That's fuckin bullshit, and ruins the point of this channel for me. Not completely, but I bet it did for many people.
It reminds me a bit of GameGrumps and JonTron (for various different reasons), mainly because both channels lost viewers after a bit -- JonTron was for many other reasons, but for GameGrumps, it's because their shit got stale and overdone. It's just boring for me now, because they clearly put less effort into it. Hell, people feel the same about H3. I still love H3 in general, but I can understand why others don't like it anymore.
@@matthewdekker6064 For me, it wasn't so much an issue of not getting enough of a dab of the hot sauce in that little bite but just seeing 99% of every wing tossed in a garbage bag after a mouse nibble just makes me cry.

Spicy food is good for you, greasy food is okay in small amounts.
For those considering buying The Last Dab Reduxx: It's absolutely, insanely delicious. If you love *extreme heat then you will be extremely happy. I was nervous at first to buy it, but after reading some reviews that it wasn't "that spicey" I thought I'd try it.
It's by far the hottest sauce I've ever had and its DELICIOUS!!!! I have gone through almost an entire bottle in two weeks.
Hot Ones is hands down my favorite show on UA-cam. The only show I watch religiously. I feel like it has brought the whole hot sauce/pepper lover community together, in some way. Join the Reddit community!!
Because of this show I went from farming MMJ to also having another business farming Carolina Reapers
It's very strong on citrus and the heat feels more like it's going to wrinkle your tongue than cause your throat to spontaneously combust. I know because I bought it and the next time I try wings I'm going to toss a few in last dab.

I like what he said about coaching the guests and having a bunch of rules. Link from Good Mythical Morning does that and it's really uncomfortable. He's so OCD and controlling, he can never just let a guest do their thing and have a good time. It has to go perfectly along with what he imagines. Some of the guests really show their annoyance because it goes from having natural a good time to having to focus on doing everything perfectly.
Do you have specific examples because I've watched GMM for years and haven't really seen this.

ooh! This clarifies a bit of what happens between cuts/takes. Because I've done the sauce line up 3 times and every time i hit DaBomb i need a 10-30 minute break because it feels like Napalm Jelly in my mouth. I lose my speech, i go for the milk, it's a mess! I had refused to believe guests didn't take a break after DaBomb!
