Guys, just to clarify, Lilith is not a character invented for the series, in the Jewish religion Lilith is related as the first woman and wife of Adam, but she did not want to give in to her husband's demand for power and that is why she fled. from the garden of Eden. Since Adam was left without a partner, now his new wife Eve would be created from Adam's rib... Most of the cast are new voices. The two exceptions are Stephanie Beatriz (Vaggie) who was Mirabel Madrigal in “Encanto” and Keith David (Husk) who was Dr. Facilier in “The Princess and the Frog”. To me, Charlie sounded a lot like Belle from “Beauty and the Beast”.
If Hell were real, it would prove God to be the most evil being in the world. Because only an evil god would punish people based on what they believe and think and not their actions or choices. He also wouldn't use an infinite punishment to punish finite crimes.
I legitimately think all the angels had t do to refute Charlie is say "Mistakes? Is that ehat we are calling serial killers now? What about rapists and child molestors? Really? Just made a few mistakes?" I'm not saying there isn't anyone who can be redeemed but maybe the show should have acknowledged the morally grey area about trying to give sinners in Hell a second chance.
Angel wasn't a serial killer or a child molester. He was born into a mob family. Someone like Alastor can't be redeemed, but Charlie's idea is absolutely solid.
@@Lady-Seashell-Bikini that implies he helped the mob do bad stuff so he still went to hell for a reason. He can still possibly be redeemed I agree with that. Alastor is definitely not interested in redemption so I don't know what he's going to do but we all know it won't be good.

There's no mention of God at all; in this version, the angels created the universe, and Earth, and Adam; and the angels cast Lucifer and Lilith into hell. As far as we know, God may not even exist in the Hazbin/Helluva universe. So that's definitely not what Adam was talking about. It's also not about Revelations; "kill them again" is talking about the exterminations that the whole show is about, where the angels come down once a year (or now, every 6 months) to wipe Sinner demons from existence.
God was mentioned few times as existing in Helluva Boss and in episode 6 they depicted St. Peter so the events in New Testament happened so Jesus is somewhere around.
@@herodotus945The existence of St. Peter doesn't require the existence of Jesus or the events of the New Testament. They depicted the formation of Earth, the creation of Adam and Eve, the Garden of Eden, and the casting of Lucifer into hell, all without God and assigning that role to the angels as a whole. There's not reason they can't have St. Peter as "the guy who guards the gate" without the rest of Peter's New Testament origin story. When did they mention God exists in Helluva Boss? The only time I can think of is the pilot when he says "Oh, I guess there is a God" as a joke -- which, even if taken seriously, would imply that he doesn't actually know God exists.
23:04 yea your right but acroding to the bible to specify he took 1/3 ONE THRID OF ALL OF HEAVENS angels to hell with him because he convinced 1/3rd of all the angels to betray god.
They didn’t make up Lilith. Lilith was part of the creation story in the bible for hundreds of years. But the bible is made from a compilation of ancient manuscripts. So back when those manuscripts were still being collected, which stories were included in the bible would depend on which part of the world you were in and which manuscripts the people of that area were aware of and/or preferred. But when people finally came together to make one consistent version of the bible, the story of Lilith was one of many that got discarded. That’s why today it’s mostly just known as jewish folklore. In summary, God created Adam and Lilith from the earth, as equals, but they did not get along (the biggest problem being that Lilith didn’t want to have sex with Adam). So God sent Lilith away from the garden (one part of Eden) and instead created Eve - this time from Adam’s rib so that Adam would always be dominant over Eve (and thus no more fighting). Lilith’s refusal to bend to Adam’s will has resulted in her being used as a feminist icon in modern times. When Lilith wandered too far and left the land of Eden completely, God sent a group of angels to bring her back. But when they got there, they decided to have sex with her instead (which is why Lilith is often portrayed as a seductress). As a result, Lilith spawned thousands of demons and became known as the “Mother of Demons”. Since Lilith never ate the forbidden fruit, theoretically she never had her immortality taken away from her. So I think she is presumably a cursed soul that still roams the earth, suffering in the eternal absence of God’s light…? I’m less knowledgeable about what happened to her after she became the mother of demons, but that would be my guess.
Lilith was the first Woman of Adam, this story ain't false. Adam wanted to take control and advantage which she wouldn't let happen (as she should, cause dafuq adam?). Mother of Demons as she arose from the Ashes, being the Goddess of Hell. Biblically, Eve being the first Woman is wrong.
Lilith was Adam's first first wife, but she refused to lay under him in a submissive position for sex as she wanted to be equal with him. So God created Eve for Adam.
You should give their other show Helluva Boss a chance too. Much more violent, not a musical for those that aren't into that, better pacing and character development, kinda addresses some of your criticisms
Lilith wasn't invented for this show. In some mythologies, Lilith was Adam's first wife, created from the same dirt/dust that Adam was; but she refused to be submissive to him, so he cast her out of the garden and replaced her with Eve, made from his rib so she'd always submit to his will. For her disobedience, Lilith was cursed by God to become the mother of all demons. Those stories were first written down around 700 AD and have been a strong influence in Jewish mythology.
In some translations of the Torah and Bible, God creates a man and woman-Adam and Lilith-and later creates Eve out of Adam's rib (which is what Adam is eating at the meeting 😂). She's not original to the series.
What this series has taught me is the amount of people who don't know Lilith and immediately assume she's a made up character! X'D

Yayyyy I’m excited abt u guys watching this!!

2:12 yeah the history they give for Christianity is definitely not accurate, but it just makes sense in the shows story
it wasnt supposed to be accurate its a cartoon show
Could you guys react to episode 2 ??
All im going to say is just look up the Bible Reloaded with Hannah and Jake
23:04 yea your right but acroding to the bible to specify he took 1/3 ONE THRID OF ALL OF HEAVENS angels to hell with him because he convinced 1/3rd of all the angels to betray god.
You don't understand the characters at the beginning if you haven't seen the pilot of Harbin Hotel released in 2020 on ytb
The guy on the far left might be dissappinted this show isnt necessarily in heavens favor lol

you guys should listen to the other music from itt
YOU GUYS SHOULD WATCH THE PILOT
Lilith was the first Woman of Adam, this story ain't false. Adam wanted to take control and advantage which she wouldn't let happen (as she should, cause dafuq adam?). Mother of Demons as she arose from the Ashes, being the Goddess of Hell. Biblically, Eve being the first Woman is wrong.
Lilith was Adam's first first wife, but she refused to lay under him in a submissive position for sex as she wanted to be equal with him. So God created Eve for Adam.
24:11 WHY DOES THAT SOUND LIKE FIZZ
they share the same VA, Alex Brightman
You should give their other show Helluva Boss a chance too. Much more violent, not a musical for those that aren't into that, better pacing and character development, kinda addresses some of your criticisms
Uh isn't there a musical number in every episode of HB?
They watched that one already
Id love to see y'all react to more series or movies maybe the Walking dead
The person i thought it was is anna from frozen
You should react to Hazbin Hotel part 2
More of these please
When will Hazbin Hotel be uploaded to Patreon?
٩😝۶
recommending 'twinparanormal' and 'paranormal quest' ♥︎
Yes sir new video 😭🙏
In jewish Christians religion lilith was first than eve
