    Biossance 100% squaline oil is my absolutely favorite, I can't say enough about how wonderful it has made my skin feel and look, I have dry skin and very sensitive and I can apply it before my primer and then apply my makeup and its just lovely.😍

    The Ordinary rose hip oil has absolutely, 100%, changed my skin for the better.. I have a lot texture on my cheeks from acne I had as a teen (I'm 46 now). I pretty much had given up on ever getting rid of it.. I had tried pretty much everything (including another brand of rosehip oil) and nothing had worked.. I started using the Ordinary rosehip oil about 2 months ago and within a day, no exaggeration, I saw a difference and now.. All that texture.. Gone..
    I bought 4 bottles as back up lol..
    If you are wondering where to start with oils and have texture.. I highly, highly recommend the Ordinary rose hip oil..
    Oh and also I use it on my daughter's acne and it has helped clear it up.. It's definitely worth a shot..

      Wow that's a nice suggestion I must give it a try, def, I'm suffering from adult acne and some days my skin is perfect and others just looks texture and drives me crazy! Thanks!!

    • @JPMJPM
      @JPMJPM 5 років тому

      It has smoothed out the ‘pits’ that acne left behind? Old scars? If so, that’s incredible! Does that oil absorb quickly (like grapeseed or sunflower oil), or is it a bit heavier? Thank you!

    • @whoathatsanicememe3093
      @whoathatsanicememe3093 5 років тому

      @@JPMJPM no, I still have some of my bigger pitting scars..you know ones that I picked to death.. BUT.. . They are definitely diminished in texture though and a lot smoother in appearance.. I hope with prolonged use they too will fade away completely.. But if not I'm still so much better than I was before I started using it... It has also helped immensely with congestion, you know those little bumps that form and never quite surface....and like I said my daughter is using it as well and it is definitely helping with blackheads and even the bigger ones she gets seem to go away within a day or two..
      It is a heavier oil when first applied but does absorb after about half an hour or so.. I never wake up greasy feeling.. I usually apply it about half an hour or hour before bed and I haven't had any issues with it transferring to my sheets etc..

    • @JPMJPM
      @JPMJPM 5 років тому

      Woah Now That's A Nice Meme Thank you for responding! I have super dry skin and never had to deal with acne, but I’m going to see what this stuff will do for my skin. Maybe on top of my sunflower oil after it has absorbed!

    • @Mamado88

    I adore facial oils. What you say about them as far as keeping the water and oils in your skin makes so much sense. I use one every morning before makeup, and I don’t notice a huge difference in how my skin looks first thing, but by the end of the day, if I haven’t used an oil, my skin looks so much drier than it does on days when I do use one! Thanks for a great video!

    Loved this video! Frankincense is my jam. Thank you for stressing the need to air on the side of caution when using essential oils and using a carrier oil with them when using on the skin. I hear so many horror stories from people who do not follow this advice. Essential oils are medicine and should be treated as such. They have so many healing properties when used correctly. 2 companies that I highly recommend if you're not in an MLM (do your own research though) are Rocky Mountain Oils and Plant Therapy. They test and certify every batch of oil produced and publish the certifications.

    There is an organic skin care company near me. I’ve tried them all...Rosehip, Squalene, Barbary Fig, marjuca or Maruca or whatever...probably I’ve used over a dozen types, and gave them all a chance to work their magic. Basically, I came to the conclusion that none of them had any miracle properties, they are basically just moisturizing. I’ve recently been seeing a dermatologist, and she said use them if you like them, but a good, basic, fragrance free moisturizer with peptides and ceramides is going to work just as well, if not better.

Since they are products of nature,Drs. can't write prescriptions for them. Healing oils can clear up conditions resulting in lost profits for drs. 💙

    Elle, I have a bad case of milia under my eyes. I was told Retinol was good to get rid of it. I've been using Roc Retinol Eye Cream its helped some but they arent really clearing up. What are some natural things that I can use to clear them up. I'm desperate.

    I'm curious about your thoughts... I recently watched a video here on UA-cam, from a legit dermatologist. I love her videos, and she seems very knowledgeable. But this one (actually two) videos, she goes over why oils (ALL oils) are actually NOT good for your face skin. Her explanation is that when you use oils, they fool the deeper layers of skin to essentially "turn off" and not do their job to heal, hydrate, turn over, etc. I've never heard this, and I even went looking for more info and found none. What are your thoughts? The UA-cam was Stefani Kappel if you want to hear it yourself. I feel the benefits of using oils are evident.

    Hi! Are fragranced oils harmful during pregnancy? I was using Ren new clean sunscreen and it is full of essential oils, thank you!

    • @thorabast8817
      @thorabast8817 5 років тому +1

      Fragrance oils are synthetic,whereas essential oils are pure plant essences. Fragrance oils should never be used topically or internally. Essential oils are very beneficial & therapeutic if used properly. Some should not be used during pregnancy. Check google to see what oils are safe & what should be avoided while pregnant. 💙

      @@thorabast8817 thank you, it's quiet confusing searching on Google, some sites says it's OK, some say it's not. And they never mention oils on skincare, it's always the ones you smell

    Squaline is good for acne prone skin? I'm acne prone & bought the Ordinary's squaline oil a while back. After using it, I started breaking out even though my skin had previously been through a purge. Is it possible my skin was purging again?

      @@ElleLearyArtistry I'm actually an oily skin gal, but find the dryer oils great for my skin. I also used to run from the word oil, but now I understand it much better. There's probably an oil out there for everyone, but not all will fit everyone, for sure. I like rosehip seed, grapeseed & jojoba
