more infos in the description of course!
greets, Mario
That sandpaper trick from Lee @painless360 is golden; my Dolphin, Penguin, and Airloader are all rocking some 600 grit now lol
Great choice of music in this one, Mario, my head was bobbing to the _shuuuut up up up_ until I realized I was being gawked at by my girl :)
Awesome flying and review, Mario! 😃
This little plane is really impressive... It's so small, but yet so smooth!
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks Mario! For the one shot, where o fly thru trees and s buddy chased me, this was also a Mario ;)
those aerial shots, phantastic!
Thanks, I'll forward this to Raphael, I agree, he did a great job with his drone!
Great video. Thanks for sharing the Iflight heatsink, I'll be ordering one today.
Nice unboxing, build. Awesome flight video. The sequence from 4:50 leading up to the move at 5:25 was spectacular. A shoutout to the camera pilot. Overall, another excellent edit.
Great video, loved it mate! Well done.
Und schon wieder ein Flieger mehr auf meiner Wunschliste. Nice review
Meine auch MfG
Ja der ist auf jeden Fall spaßig. Ist auch gut zum verfolgen von langsameren Fliegern
Love these types of videos
Wieder ein tolles Video. Die neue Brille steht Dir gut. 👍
Danke, dachte zuerst an die fpv Brille, aber die ist doch alt;)
that was fun, maiden and music montage was brilliant. ps. my first little runcam hd cam i made a lens hood that closed over the lens in a crash, i did contact runcam with photos but they said they had other ideas. it wasnt easy to show how and why it worked in photos but it did work really well. probably worth looking into with an 03 unit now
Thanks Mac, I guess I should just print the whole nose in tpu and make a little bumper for lens protection. Also I use nd filters as a layer of protection against scratches.
Greets Mario
@@Rcschim yeah did that thing where i put a foam (from the runcam box i think) lens hood on which showed up in the camera and i slowly cut away till it was out of view, then realised if i cut an angle above and below the hood would be forced down or up in a crash which would cover the lens, wish i could make one for the hero6, so tired of buying nd filters.
That was a relaxing flight. You have convinced me to get a wing... and learn iNav. 😊
Wings are fun for sure! They give you a direct sense of flight, wind, scenery. Was on vacation, flew an Air3, but now I need to fly fixed wing again!
Reviews are what we live for. We buy, we FLY.
You also need to check if your elevator servo is secure as mine was loose and popped out when I adjusted the control horn that I have to re-glue and put screw on it.
Great video! The Penguin is quite the plane isn't it? It's not quite like anything else I fly, but super fun in it's own right! lol
Yep, high alpha creeping thru the woods would be its speciality ;)
Thanks for the very nice review! I'm curious, how's the flying experience compare with the Dolphin?
Hi my Friend! It flies fun! Can be flown much slower - but has a bit of a YAW wobble if you fly faster than 100kph.
Can fly high alpha and then VERY slow (have to train this - then I can fly thru the woods ;)
it likes to be flown in smaller area, maybe with obstacles - near to the ground. up in the mountains it would feel a bit out of place I guess..
@@Rcschim thanks for the detailed information. For me, the Dolphin is almost too small and so the Penguin is defenetely too small. I enjoy a more long range and fast flying wing, so what you say finalize the doubts for me about the Penguin. Thanks again my friend ☺️
Lovely flying. have you any stabilized footage of it using gyroflow? i fly quads, and wanted to switch to this wing. I would want to do cinematic low flying and was wondering if this would be a good choice. Please advise.
Yep, normally I stabilize o3 footage because I don't like the shakes. Especially on wings. The penguin was not my fav plane tho. Liked the dolphin more. But yes, for cinematic low alt flying it's maybe an idea
Great video. What was the reason for the crash during auto launch?
Only one motor started for some reason.
Later I changed so that on auto launch the motors start after I use half throttle rather than throwing.
This way I can check better if both are spinning.
May i know how to mount the O3 transmitter?
It is mounted on the plastic parts for the nose, quite easy to install, but a bit exposed on crashes ;)
Rcschim, want to share. I use O3 with iFlight heatsink with 5V cooling fan mount on heatsink. I am able to power on Heewing Ranger T1 in fully enclosure while grounded. With fan still spinning, it can be grounded indefinitely without worrying about overheating.
iFlight heatsink for O3 is a must have for anyone who puts O3 in fully enclosures with vent. Or add cooling fan when in doubt (ie: summer season)
I enjoy your video, I am in market for one more fixed wing that can pack up in a case for portability. How do you pack up? I see servo wires still in there after you remove the wings?
Yep, heatsink is a good idea. didn't do it yet but have fans on my bench.
my flying buddies did tell me also how great the T1 is. Currently I'm back to copters again - love their steady flight...
looking forward to flying the Dolphin in Spring again tho. And maybe the Mars and ARWingpro. Didnt like the Penguin enough to keep the O3 in there - went on another copter. Maybe I'll use one of my old Vistas to have an easy ground level basher plane? it flew like fun for sure (and such a thing is great for FPV meetings).
greets, Mario
@@Rcschim Yes, I wouldn't send my precious T1 as ground level basher. 😂 That is why I research about Dolphin. Their page says it can steer thru trees in a park and has good low speed without stalling.
If you have any more ground level basher wing to mention, please do share. 🙏
@@kibbycabbit I guess you meant Penguin instead of Dolphin here ;)
My fpv 900 from tech one was a nice careless flying wing until it was grounded. See fpv meet 1-23
Glad you use delay for launch now. Shake & Bake is not the way to go.
I use it with delay on all inav planes normally, but here I forgot this option initially. Also bad if you have 2 motors and not both arm for some reason...
oh no! Dont shake and throw!!!
