Great job guys!! Looks good and is functional!! Of course there is always somebody in the comment's who would do it this way or do that and the famous "if I was building it I would" but pay them no attention!! Great video y'all and God Bless!!
I've enjoyed this build, just realized I've been watching your channel and I wasn't subscribed. Sure thought I was. Good news is UA-cam has been recommending your content to me. I'm building another barn like this one in my woodyard. Take care!
Hey Hank Ryobi is a reasonable priced handyman Product here in Australia 5 year warranty, Tradies seem to go for the more expensive brands due to constant heavy use ,but when it's all said and done it's the skill of the user more than the brand ,I'm a Makita fan good product good price . But mate you are truly blessed with good friend . Kym Adelaide
@@AnthonyRBlacker Ahh I did not know that I'm currently looking at the Ryobi 18 volt pole saw 299 dollars come in kit battery charger and power head and extension pole 100dollars cheaper than Makita so definate option Kym Adelaide
@@kymw7833 with their newer battery system, my personal opinion is that they are quality cordless tools for a homeowner. Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Looking good Hank. Takes a lot of work to put that roof on. Lots of measuring to make sure you got things right. Lots of up and down work. Working on the roof is not the easiest. You were all safe and took care and no one hurt. Yeah. Many thanks to your friends for helping. Thought Wiley was going to help. ???? Take your helpers out for a nice meal hank. One question. Will the pole barn sides stay open or are you at some time going to put walls in????? Looks good Hank. Nice going. Thanks for everything and appreciate your helpers. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve. Retired Air Force veteran.
It helps save batteries a little if after you have the screw in the bit and the drill in position touching the steel roof panel where you want it use your other hand and give the drill a sharp smack on it Straight down.. it helps the screw punturethe steel and start faster.
Nice job! Now load up,head north. At first west bound interstate head west. Find I-20 west and exit in Longview Texas. When you get there just ask for Amos and I'll take you to my farm to build me one.
I'm not a builder but I've helped on a few roofing jobs and we always put the screws through the ribs of the roof sheets, almost guaranteed to leak if you put the screws through the flat part of the sheet like you seem to have???
I've done both. My house is through the ribs of the metal and doesn't leak...our guest house and both pole barns are in the flat area and doesn't leak.
HAY HANK, LOOKS GOOD!!! YA, WE HAVE THE SAME STYLE FOOF ON THE CABIN. ALSO ON THE OTHER TWO RENTALS, WE'RE DOIN' FOR EXTRA INCOME. WORKS GOOD FOR US CAUSE THE SNOW JUST SLIDES RIGHT OFF. HAY I SUBED WILYS CHANEL LIKE YOU SEAD, SO DON'T PUT THE HURT-LOCK ON ME, BROTHER... OK... STAY COOL... PEACE...
I'm going to compare prices at Lowe's and Home Depot, I'll see what a metal roof costs, that's all I'm interested in doing to a house I'm trying to get.
Be nice to see a safety harness on the man in the basket.........easy to flip him out when moving! Also so easy to rent some pipe staging , couple sections that roll a round.
Thanks!
Thank you so much. It's truly appreciated
Good guys that help. Hard to find good help these days. Nice job.
Great Job Hank and the guy's on getting the metal roof bolted-on top. I helped my brother put-on a metal roof on out tool shed, it an't easy..

Did you not have wood end pieces to finish off your purlins and attach the sheet metal to stop wind movement's?
Yes the kit has them. I eventually need to get them put on. Got busy.
Hello Hank, too bad for the sheet alignments that are not right. You have to work on the string.
A little Belgian.
We got it straightened up with shears and also a gutter 👍
