That's a nice little building , put a wood stove in it and i'd live in that thing . You could've hooked it to the back of the tractor but you got it moved anyway , that front loader is nice for so many things
Enjoyed the shed moving video. Pops Sonny was certainly a huge help with this project. Good idea to not mess with the landscape since you don't currently have a water issue.
I bought a set of hay forks with my 4540 -- I use them all the time -- it would have worked great on that building better than the bucket -- you did good
Nice move. We moved our 8 X 12 chicken coop And our 10 X 10 shed from my old house out to the homestead, about 8 miles. That was interesting to say the least.
Im about to move a 12x14 with a 1526. Will video it and post on my channel i started. Waiting on the ground to dry a little longer. Good job on moving that one.
Great jobs guys! The Mahindra might have come off the ground a little bit but she is Strong Bubba. Hank you owe Sonny a Steak Dinner! 😁 And some Tylenol!!!
I thought about that. I'm curious if the weight would have been too much for that way? That's a good question though. Maybe I'll try it that way with the other sheds I'll need to move in the future.
I was afraid the front end would lift off the ground because of the weight. If you pull while backing the front end will push down and the back end will lift .and the back weighs more than the front...but I think when I move the next shed I'll at least try it that way to see if it works better. Thanks for the comment!👍
Better to pull from the draw bar if possible. Pulling and lift ing with the bucket would tweak your bucket out of shape. If you need weight in the front a bucket of dirt or a log in the grapple will. Do glad it all worked out. Take care.

I wish I can afford one of them tractor 👌

I sure did enjoy having him down for a visit. He'll be back in the fall and make some more cameos 😁
I was here to see how the chains attach to the skids. Drilling the hole and running a pipe in there is a good idea.
Don’t you love it when a plan comes together? Good job folks.
He’s on that jazz again.

Yeah, I have at least 1 if not 2 more bldgs to move the same size...definitely learned from this move. Great comment!
Every building move is a whole new scenario. You never know how it's going to go.
This is going to help me save some time on moving a little she'd. Thanks for sharing your experience
I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment 👍 good luck on your endeavor!

Yeah we had a little mishap on the sharp turn, but, life goes on! Thanks for the comment 👍🏻
Good work Hank! That looked heavy but the Mahindra handled it just fine! Take care my friend!
Thanks Dave!
your helper really a helper, lol, 👍

Trust me, he's gonna make me pay! 😁
Looks like Sonny and the Mahindra 4540 did all the work and Hambone did all the talking. 😂
Somebody gotta supervise!
You got er' done and with no major mishaps
Yes sir. The Mahindra 4540 did great!
Think I would have hooked the chain to the 3 point and dragged the shed. You could still raise the three point and lift the runners off the ground.
Yeah I did another one that way 👍
Was there anything inside the shed when you moved it? I’m about to move one just like it, but just a few feet with some stuff in it.
Yes. We cleaned it out. Maybe a couple hundred pounds of stuff total.
Thanks for vid. Do you think that size tractor can move a 16x20? Keep up the gd work
Probably, if you hook it up right.
So cool!
I wonder if it would have worked to hook the chain on the 3 point in the rear somehow, and lifted and turned it that way. Just curious.

@@HamiltonvilleFarm I think the 3 point can lift more than the FEL but I could be wrong, that Mahindra FEL is a beast....
Why not pull from the back draw bar?

Thanks James👍
only thing i would done doff id pull from the back tractore then it wont lift back end up
Is there a brown cow inside the brown house
It makes the chocolate milk 😂
Should have trunk tractor around and pulled from box blade
Thanks for watching
Sonny!!!!!!!’
How not to move a shed
Pretty sure it worked. Just because you would have done it different doesn't mean this way was wrong
@@HamiltonvilleFarm I like to take care of my stuff not fuck it up
I started with woodglut plans.
