People say this just works but with my experience it just doesnt. Unable to enable RTX HDR. I have done all the correct steps. I have an HDR monitor. i enabled it in windows and disable dauto hdr, but in the new nvidia app, it comes up error unable to apply new setting and cannot get it say turned on. Why is this please can someone help me thanks
SAME PROBLEM ! :(
i cant even add game filters? how can i fix?
i dont have the RTX HDR for some reason (4080)
Now can you tell me why when i open filter effects using alt+z it shows to launch supported game even though i already have one launched, and will not allow me to enable dynamic vibrance? really frustrated would love some assistance if you can?
The dynamic vibrance thing is incredible it makes the darker areas much darker and the colors brighter just don't over do it a little goes a long way
if I apply different settings(overclock) my GPU, are they permanent? or do I need to launch the app every time system boots to apply?
I'm asking this because I plan on moving to linux soon, and I'd prefer not to need extra stuff installed(and not to lose settings)
Update ruined all my filters lol. Was perfectly fine was able to access Rtx HDR and dynamic vibrance. Now when I go to access my overlay there is no filter option.
Did they bring back Game Stream?
That is GEFORCE NOW which is a separate app. But in WinOS this can be done directly from supported Web Browser, you just need to log into your account.
Does it detrimentally effect game performance like the original N. Experience
It will definitely come with a ton of telemetry and bloatware, I'll stick with my og control panel after removing everything with DDU and installing just the driver with NVclean install
Is this a replacement for geforce now, does it have the cloud gaming?
No more camera settings like in the old GeForce exp?
Can the fps counter enlarged?
How do i change recordings direction on this app? Unlinke GeforceExperience i think i cant
Where is web camera option?
Can’t use the new digital vibrancy on Fortnite? How do I know which games are supported
where is ssrtgi filters ?
I installed it (plus nVidia Studio), and yes, they did say it was in the beta phase. When I used the nVidia icon in the taskbar to switch from Intel UHD to nVidia RTX 4060, the screen froze. I was stuck on the Intel UHD screen. No mouse movements whatsoever. But Windows was working.
My Rog Strix has advanced nvidia Mux Switch, whatever. So you can switch between iGPU and dGPU in Win11 itself. Not sure if MUX is buggy and caused the frozen Windows display?
Fortunately, I had programmed my laptop power button to "shut down" if pressed inside Windows. And so I did. Rebooted, y went back to the old nVidia normal driver.
thanks for spreading the beta i had problems with shadowplay in geforce i couldnt even start the overlay i can now skip the headache with the beta app thx again you where a help even though it wasnt the main point of the vid :]
I cannot find how to change the file path for recordings? anyone?
Why am I getting an N/A for the Frame Rate overlay in the Statistics view?
I cant find the autotuning feature in the new alt+z menu…
anyone know how to remove the mic icon and the instant replay icon? I cant find anything about it anywhere
Where are all the streaming options ????
This really is missing a whole heap of options that are in the nvidia control panel, hopefully these come across
Yup. This Nvidia App seems like a step backwards to me.
Thanks for the video. I tested it but now i can not find webcam or settings for webcam. How to get webcam over gameplay?
This any answer on this? I just bought a new pc and I have to go back to GFE to get the overlay. Shitty videos like this waste so much time. Did you find a solution?
the hdr option went away for you at the end of the video , i never had one to begin with i was wondering how you got it back
i think i might figured it out someone mentioned in the comments something about mulit monitors so im going to try to restart with one monitor
that was it , you cannot have 2 monitors on at the same time , idk its that b/c one of my monitors isnt hdr and the main one is or if it would work with 2 hdr monitors , i dont have 2 yet !
still no fan curve like afterburner?
I cant find the one click overclock tool like in geforce experience app!!
The new overlay is surprising missing a few key statistics from the old one like GPU energy usage. Otherwise new control panel and RTX Vibrance/HDR are great additions.
i also dont think the gpu tuning features are there at all
My microphone is not working anymore with the nvidia panel even when the correct mic is selected (my mic is functionnal everywhere else)
Same here, I can't even change my mic, adjust the volume sliders, or even HEAR my mic in recordings.
@@moaijima same i reverted back to old version and i’ll wait for a fixed version
@@spacewalker0 which version did you go back to? or did u go back to Geforce Expereince
