Just installed the newest nvidia drivers and was having issues with a purple line on my screen. Figured there was an issue with the drivers, so I looked up how to clean install an older driver. This video came up and was a huge help!

I just upgraded from my gtx 1080 to rtx 3080 I have G force experience it says everything is updated also do I need to do a clean install or can I just leave it as it. I already installed the card and didn’t think about removing the old drivers.
I plan on doing an upgrade. So you physically install the GPU, then the GeForce experience automatically changed the device for you? Or do you have to manual change it in the app?

Hi bro, i wanted to ask i use the apps and it failed twice and then download it manually and it download take so long while i have 50mbs internet speed, any idea how to solve the slow download ?

Did you restart your PC? directx usually comes with the driver package or windows itself. You can download it from Microsoft though. For example DirectX 11 is here www.microsoft.com/en-us/Download/confirmation.aspx?id=17431

I tried to update ready game driver on Geforce, but when I express install it, it says it cannot continue and not compatible in this version of window something like that. I tried DDU and manually downloaded it on the nvidia website, but when i install it again, same problem - not compatible to this windows. I have a RTX 3060
i followed same path but after i installed driver and restart Pc i have a black screen and monitor randonly sleep kinda . Any solution ?

If your just bought a new graphics card, would you select custom under options because your installing brand new gpu driver and not express?
You might be upgrading from another Nvidia card that uses similar drivers and software. Custom gives the most choices.
