Jordan Peterson: The radical Left is guilt-tripping the West into oblivion

  • Dr Jordan Peterson discusses how to win the culture war, with insights from Soviet and Nazi dissidents who stood up against tyranny and compares their struggles with clampdowns on free speech today. He sits down with The Telegraph’s Steven Edginton in a wide-ranging discussion from why Britain was a miracle for the world to if he is addicted to Twitter:
    On the culture wars:
“The right lacks vision. They play a rearguard game. They don't have a compelling story to tell young people. And because they're conscientious, conservatives are conscientious, it's easy to hoist them on the petard of guilt. And the psychopathic narcissists of the radical left are unbelievably good at that.”
On the personal versus the political:
“I think you have to get your psychological house in order before you can be even remotely effective politically in the fundamental sense. Otherwise, you're just a tool of ideology or your own ego.”
    On Britain:
“English common law is a complete bloody miracle … what a phenomenal accomplishment. And so, yes, I think that makes Britain singular and worthy of tremendous admiration … It's a country that's suffering from far too much guilt at the moment.”
    On Twitter:
“Twitter isn't optional, it's how I sample the culture. Is it a biased sample? Probably.”
    On slavery:
“It was the British who decided hands down that slavery was wrong and then did something about it. And that is documented historical reality.”
    On the EU and France:
“A lot of the centralising tendency that's characteristic of the EU can be laid at the foot of the same spirit that motivated the French, the French revolutionaries … I see the French Revolution in itself as a reflection of something deeper, which is the continuing manifestation of the spirit of Cain.”

The psychopaths have worked for decades to dumb down people through 'education' and 'culture' via mass media.
So now they don't hide at all: they know the general population is very dumb as they have created their morality, their intellect, their analytical abiliry, their psychology.
For a critical thinker point of view the world of the mass psychology makes no sense: it don't follow the rules of reason, nor the rule of interest. It follows the rules of conditionning by ivan pavlov and skinner. People are animals and have been tamed.

More manipulation, they swing us from left to right, always steadily getting more and more tyrannical. Study the history of 'democracy' on a macro scale to see this pattern. Many 'dissidents' are held up as heros like this by the media, how does that make sense? If Peterson was a genuine dissident, we would never have heard of him, unless we truly dug deep into the underground. He is an academic, playing his role, nothing more. They defined the playing field and still do. They need to provide an outlet for citiicism and resistence, like these interviews, so we feel like something is being, or will be, done. Meanwhile they continue to progress the program.

It is amazing to see an influential person in public unafraid of a silent pause, the cardinal sin of modern media, to consider his answer and deliver it in a coherent and articulate manner, if only our Leaders behaved with a fraction of that level of awareness, where would our various communities, societies, nations and humanity in general be today?

Every minute of this interview is delightful. Intellectual, nuanced, and original, both Jordan Peterson and Steven Edginton were absolutely phenomenal. Along the way, JP even made me question my own character and mindset. It's a political interview but it actually addresses so much more. Notably, JP uses psychology to address political issues with an enthusiastic desire to candidly dive into complex questions. Teaching us about history, society, the philosophy behind political movements, the way evil politicians manipulate well-meaning people, and linking it to biblical stories & values, his viewers are given the opportunity to break through the poison machine in favour of meaningful reflection on the state of the world.

It was quite poetic how the spoken words matched the calm visual of an older man with a grey beard giving simplistic truth to a younger man in a natural peaceful setting. The truth was all around them yet because humans have the capacity to communicate though vibrations the complexity of language was just broken down by Jordan into simplicity and truth and then back again into the backdrop and the visual of the two men and what that represented and round and round it went.

Wow - I think the Dostoevsky quote of "Every man is not only responsible for what he does but what everyone else does" is pure genius for those who can grasp the concept. It forces us to consider every consequence of every decision and action large or small. For example: Tribalism and wars only ever happen if we (each of us) allow differences to be amplified to the point of hatred and mistrust then allow psychopathic leaders into power that leverage that division into conflict. Clearly we are responsible and our elected "politicians" take that to the next level.

/\ pyramid hierarchies are artificial and integral to capitalism/profit, there has to be a very large base in a capitalist hierarchy in order for profit to be generated, profit is not possible in a natural bell curve hierarchy.

As a leftist, I've been trying to get my fellow liberals to introspect and see this. They do not understand what it means to use 'black magic', which seeks to subvert conscious decision making by appealing to the unconscious needs, wants, and desires. The humility has been lost everywhere, and we are becoming increasingly small-minded - yet I believe it's those who have many of the right ideas and desire to improve things (the 'good left-handed path' or leftists who are well-intentioned but are 'captured') which need to break through it most of all. It's not a coincidence that there are certain leftists who met the same fate. JFK. MLK Jr. John Lennon. The options today are just an illusion. A hydra has many heads.
More so, here on UA-cam - it's predominant leftist channels whose comments are ferociously censored by an algorithm... and I mean FEROCIOUSLY. I have to speak in code like I'm Lenin under the Tsarist censors...
