That's a really slick and clean install! It looks awesome! It gives the truck a much bigger appearance at night, with all the high marker lights. I almost want a rack like that on my JT so I have a place to mount lights. I'm looking for a way to haul a 16' canoe so I'll need a rack of some sort. Thanks for sharing your project, nice work.
Appreciate it! It really does grab attention at during poor weather, and helps with clearance since the Jeep is higher than normal. I have nothing but good things to say about the Frontrunner rack. I miss removing the roof sometimes, but overall the pros outweigh the cons for me.
Honestly, the longest part was trial and error with the initial batch of screws, removing the sheared one, then making another hardware store run and looking for new screws. The project itself really wasn't too bad. I took my good sweet time measuring and marking the spots for drilling. I wanted to make sure it was correct the first time! Yeah, I wanted them just below flush with the top of the rack. That way, they're accurate for clearance purposes, and also they stay out of the way as I mount my RTT, eventual awning, etc, like you mentioned.
Thanks Glen! I actually had thought of that: wiring the fronts to the factory fog switch, and the rears to the brake/turn circuit. I do already have four 3/4" accessory brake/turn lights on the rear bumper in place of the parking sensors, so I thought it may be overkill to have these firing all of the time as well. I could end up changing it down the road, but for now I think they work great and will add a good degree of safety and awareness.
@@TerraOutdoors They do look awesome! You are doing a very good job making the Gladiator your own! Love how we can do that with them...just like my Harley as well LOL!
@@glenlittlefield9869 Appreciate it! They really are so customizable. I'm really happy with how it's coming along. For sure! I ride as well. I have a Honda Africa Twin that I have outfit for adventures too. I have some trips planned for that as well. That'll likely start making an appearance on the channel this summer when it's warm again.

looks like it took awhile to install. Good to have the lights under the lip of the rack in case you install something that hangs over.

Very nice! Would be cool if you could link the rear lights to the break lights....
Thanks Glen!
