THE BEST!!!! I'm in awe every time I hear him play. 🥰🎻Can never get tired of Maxim. Bruch....RESPECT. I'm lying down with headphones on and feeling every emotion there is.
Beautiful music and beautiful soul. Maxim is an artist that does God proud. We were made in his image to be creative , passionate and loving. Imagine what kind of earth we would have if everyone lived out their creative potential. This sort of creativity is no mere product of mindless evolution.
"And I watch out for what happens in the world, and I try to look behind the curtain, and I'm glad that nobody could steal my soul" Kurt Masur 1927-2015
Vengerov tem um som tão claro e suave, ele sente a música de uma forma tão incrivel vemos isso em suas masterclass e interpretações melhor violinista vivo e um dos melhores de sempre.
Vengerov has such an amazingly smooth, controlled and expressive sound. This has to be one of just a handful of truly moving performances of this concerto. I just wish Masur would have fastened the tempo in some of the "crucial" moments. This performance, along with Cho-liang Lin's, are two of the closest to my preferences in tempo and phrasing.
sol corda vuota, nota più semplice del mondo da fare, quando ancora non sai suonare, un incubo per i professionisti! In questo concerto hai tutti gli occhi puntati!
excellent version of bruch - when was this recorded. IMO the best bruch i have heard is by a mr tibor varga - i highly recommend everyone to check it out. you will not be disappointed
i have to agree Tibor's is better. I've listened to a lot of versions of Bruch, and though Maxim is fast becoming my favorite violinist of all time, something about his interpretation here rubs me the wrong way. It's just a bit too... flow-y. I feel like the piece needs a bit more "edge" to the bowing like Tibor's.

to me Vengerov is in a category by himself,i do not think that there is a better violinist in this time than him

Sin duda, la mejor interpretación es esta, la de Vengerov. Su digitación es perfecta, las notas NO LAS EMBARRA Y Sus matices son justos,

1:17 is where the cool part starts
Siempre digo que ningún violinista le llega a Perlman pero Vengerov me hace dudar....y dudar en serio
hear, hear!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@cnewtonc
he is just different..
I'd like to see perlman playing shostakovich the way vengerov plays it...
RIP Kurt Masur
7:18 - 7:28 !!
0:09 - 6:28
there is only a violinist, he is better than all the others, that's "Jascha Heifetz", unfortunately died.

Gorgeous, of course, but I wish I could see him playing to maybe pick up some pointers on what exactly he's doing to sound like that with this piece.
In your opinion.
@hajdul Maybe at the time of the recording, but he stopped playing that violin ages ago, and now plays the "Ex-Kreutzer", which I think he owns...
stradivarius= vangerov . no vangerov , stradivarius is nothing . the best violinist of the history
Perlman is the best. End of Story!
one brass player :P
