Health message needs to be kept simple. This is far too complex to be practical. Just have a whole food plant based diet. Stick to Indian foods(fruits, veggies and lentils), avoid ghee and dairy and most non veg food. Workout 5 days a week and run 2 times a week. Sleep 7 hours and don't drink alcohol. That's 90 percent of this. Love the book by Micheal Gregor - How not to age
Indian people are quite ignorant about diet. By avoiding non veg and ghee you are very much prone to weight gain. Eating excessive carbohydrates and less protein is making Indian unhealthy. Excess carbohydrates, less physical activity and junk foods loaded with sugar is making Indians obese and unhealthy. Anything which spikes insulin is causing weight gain. Non veg doesn't spike insulin but your so called healthy dal, chawal and roti spikes insulin. Insulin is a fat storage hormone. It is very important to check insulin spikes. If you want to lose weight you have to eat a diet which is high in protein and less in carbohydrates.
