35 years ago I checked on Switzerland. It didn't specify the amount but enough to support myself (and or dependents) until well past retirement age. Plus it required fluency in two of the languages of German, French, Italian or Swiss.

Good heavens: I certainly didn't expect such strange replies about immigration: I am dual citizen as I was born in Germany, my father was Army, but I had to prove that I qualified and there was a fee of around 200 or so Euros. All that stuff about 400K to be a US citizen is nonsense. Please put a URL to back your facts up.

From 2016 to 2021, 1.3 million people were admitted into Canada for permanent residence. The US admitted 5.7 million that year. Proportionally, Canada may be higher, but that's because so much of the country is literally empty. It's still no excuse for excusing illegal immigration.
