If you're a parent and you commit a crime, it doesn't matter if you have a kid or not, you're GOING to be separated from your kid!! It's no different than police pulling over a car that has a trunk full of cocaine. Even if there's a kid in the back seat they're still gonna arrest the driver and separate them from the kid!!

It's no different than getting pulled over for speeding with your kids in the car. You'll get a citation and maybe a warning from the police officer to "slow down, you've got kids in the car, lady!"
