Do you also have a UA-cam tutorial about the Google Task-Keep integration. I get a little bit confused if I should use both or just Tasks of just Keep.
Wow! This video is worth watching. I like the way you explain how to use Google Tasks. I have already watched other YT video tutorials about GTasks but I struggled when I tried to do it. Great really great 😇👏
If only Google allowed us to rearrange the Starred Tasks List manually. This forces me to do that last step of dragging the to dos into the calendar or creating a new Task List and moving each starred item on to it. Not a huge deal but definitely an annoyance. The rest of the system seems great.
loved this video, im the kind of guy who spends more time planning things rather than doing it, and it's painful so thanks for helping me to create an actually useful and simple productivity system Now my question is, should this video be stored in my google keep or somewhere else ahah
Good stuff, I have some tasks that won't let me drag them into a newly created list. One is tied to an email, another is tied to a calendar invite, is that an issue?
I’m missing something. How do I get to the page of lists that you show? Is it in Calendar? That’s what’s showing in the top left corner. My calendar view does not offer lists like this. Or do I create the lists in Google tasks?
Now, somehow you're persuading me to go back to Google Task and quit TikTick. Maybe a short test for a short period will handle this problem. Thank you for the confusion lol.
I've tried just about every note taking app I can get my computer on. Do you know of any app that meets all of this criteria? I can think of one but that's about it. Am I missing one? • Website app • Mobile apps • desktop app • offline access • reminders • syncs well • Nesting and subfolders • reminders to email • email to app • free or low cost • generous note limit
You are by far one of the most clear concise and organized explainer/teacher I have run into yet. Thank you for making these videos brother!
What a wonderful thing to say! Thank you so much for watching and sharing!
G.Tasks needs Tags and a search bar on tip
Totally agree
@@gemiro1234 actaully tags and search are available on Google taskboard. Tags is apremium feature (you can try) while search is free on the board
I can live without tags, as I have 'tagged stuff' in Keep,i.e. Labels, but search for Tasks would be a huge time saver.
Do you also have a UA-cam tutorial about the Google Task-Keep integration. I get a little bit confused if I should use both or just Tasks of just Keep.
Stay tuned! Later this year, there will be more integrations between these 2 apps.
@@Simpletivity What do you know that we don't?
For one, reminders in Keep will soon sync with Google Tasks and therefore also be reflected on your calendar.
@@Simpletivity I have been wanting this features for years! Finally!! If you have any more info on timeline, etc. I am all ears. Thank you!!!
Stay tuned, I'll be sharing more as these features are released.
very amazing, I love what you just taught me!! Thanks a lot!
I'm so glad you found it helpful!
this is great, thanks. Is there any way to report on the list? I want to report how many of Urgent tasks on this day etc - THAT WOULD BE AWESOME
Can you do this in the Android app? Or do you need to organise on a pc or lap top? Many thanks
How did you bring the emoji menu?
I'm on a Mac. If you right click on the cursor area in the title it'll bring up a menu with the Emoji and Symbols option.
For windows, press Win key & "."
Thank you,. This is so effective
I'm glad you found it helpful!

That's a very good point. Thanks for sharing!
This is a great tip! I'd like to try this with the Eisenhower Matrix 😁
That sounds like a perfect way to use this method!
Another great and fun video. Thanks!
Maybe one about Google Sheets & Calendar integration?

You bet!
this is very informative video- thank you for sharing all these tips
You are so welcome!
Great video! Thank you!

Thank you for this!
Great idea, thanks
You're very welcome!
Can I view the G Calendar in a week view but instead of time grids it shows only all the tasks that I have to do in any given day?
You could do this by selecting Tasks from the Calendar list on the left and then selecting: Display this only.
I’m missing something. How do I get to the page of lists that you show? Is it in Calendar? That’s what’s showing in the top left corner. My calendar view does not offer lists like this. Or do I create the lists in Google tasks?
Só queria que os eventos fossem ao mesmo tempo tarefas para poder marcar como concluídas e por um tempo de 4h de execução
It's really simple and useful. Thanks.
You are welcome!
Is this part of Google suite out of the box, or is this a simplicity thing ?
Google Tasks is available to all Google users.
@@Simpletivity This kanban style interface for Tasks must be something relatively new. Thanks.
Yes, this full-screen toggle view within Calendar was introduced within the past year.
For me a good video, thank you!
You are welcome! What was your biggest takeaway?
I need subtask
I need color coding for each list
You can add Sub-Tasks here within Tasks. But color-coding for each list is not currently available.
Good video but, dude, how do I access the emoji list?
If you're a Windows user, just hit Windows Key + . to have the emoji menu appear.
how you can put an icon ?
great video.
Thanks!
Seems off limits to my smart phone Google calender..
Google tasks needs collapsing drop menus for sub tasks
Hi Simpletivity, can i delete my current gmail account and create a new one.
Thanks for your time
Good video

Maybe a short test for a short period will handle this problem.
Thank you for the confusion lol.
TikTick is not free and the interface is not so friendly
Is it possible to have custom colors for each task list on Google Calendar?
Sorry, not at this time.
awsome
Is there anyway to assign different colours to different task lists in gcal?
good
what I dislike about google task is how it manages the subtasks .

👍
You cannot close tabs individually in a group. That is a disadvantage.
Flaw: in reality a task can be of a combination of Important, urgent, fun. that is not represented in your method
How so? If your task is all three, pop it in any list you like. Star it and you can still do what Scott did in the clip.
