And does not has the most simple function: Searching something an getting it marked within one note. Only works on the pc using the browser.... GREAT my white a.ss
I have some levels of ADHD and always struggle from completing tasks. After using several apps, I ended up with Google Keep. I make a separate note for each day the night before, and pin that note as a widget on to my phone screen. This note contains a set of tasks for the morning, afternoon and evening, sometimes location based. Every time I unlock my phone, I will be welcomed with the Huge google keep widget.
I love using Google keep. I just wish the sort function was based on modified dates so that I can have my most recently opened/modified notes at the top.
I've been Keep'n for about seven-ish years now! Love the program. At first, I hardly used it and borderline forgot about it. The past few years, I've used it much more and continue to think of more ways for me to use the program!
I've been using Samsung phones for many years now but Google Keep is my go-to note taking app. Glad to see there's a bunch of us out there using this as our main note app.
Keep works so well for me. Especially the label feature. I have a bunch of different labels; Personal, Work, Tech, Bicycle, Medical, Home (Repair). I like that I just have simple notes with images for things I do as a technician (wiring and so on).
Keep has been my main note taking app since it launched. There's really nothing like it, especially since a lot of apps require subs or payment and are overly complicated.
have tried many other note taking apps because of the ability to put notes in folders and even have secure folders... but the amazing syncing between devices and cross platform and how snappy it is to load and find things keeps me coming back
I'm an Apple Notes user, but I will often use Keep for very quick "sticky" notes. Just like Apple notes, the simplicity is underrated and is not bloated with other nonsense. Keep up the great videos!
I used it to write my diary and it was nice and easy to organize and even quicky export to Google docs as 1 pdf. I just hope it has the option to put them in chronological order cuz so far when you copy to docs the ordering goes in reverse where the recent days are first. Overall a good feature tho.
Well, I most of the time use keep to make a shopping check list. Besides, I use the notification based reminder very frequently. I note down important event like going to buy books after few days, or having a picnic or program after a week, and set continuous reminder before the event to get myself fully prepared before the event. Also, keep small important notes related to study, which I can find right away by searching the note.
great app, but i hate that the delete note button is hidden under the 3 dots on the top right. So stupid. just put it right there next to Pin button on the screen when you touch and hold a Note. Also we need the feature where you can lock notes with a pin or fingerprint
The only 3 changes I'd make to this App to make it totally amazing would be to add the ability to create sublabels, link a note to a calendar event/ have a note show up as a calendar event, and allow for the ability to have different text structures in one note where I want them. For example, a checkbox section, then a photo with text under it, then checkboxes again. 👇
Saya masih memakai Google Keep sampai dengan saat ini. Bahkan, coretan tangan keponakan saya 8 tahun yang lalu masih tersimpan dengan baik, walaupun saya sudah beberapa kali berganti smartphone. Terima kasih Google Keep!
Keep Notes is my only note making application. It's simple, intuitive, and functional over aesthetics. I have numerous labels colour coded to find them easily with some notes with colourful backgrounds. Sometimes it is jittery when scrolling and swiping from the left to open the labels menu. But all things aside it is easy and syncs up fast even on mobile data.
Google Keep is definitely the best. It may not have many options, but regardless, I use it the most out of all note taking apps (OneNote for stylus and Samsung Notes for PDF editing).
Have started using Google Keep more over the past couple of months or so. It's not bad actually. I like it's simplicity and the ability to collaborate so easily. I wish it worked a little better with Talkback on longer notes because if you are reading through a long note every time you return to it you are pushed back to the top again. I also wish we could have nesting notes or some kind of folder structure. The labels feature is not adequate enough for me.
Keep is best at what it does, I wish there is a centralised app that could store documents, sheets, but as of now I just love how every app like docs sheets etc are web based apps.
New to Pixel and decided to go with Keep. One feature would be helpful would be ability to scroll within a note. I have to constantly slide up or down to scroll especially longer notes can be annoying.
My second most used app/service from Google (Gmail app/service being the most used one) Plus Keep made my life so much easier through the years, no matter my device I always had full access to it, no stupid eco system exclusive apps (looking at you Apple and Samsung) or subscriptions. Which makes me fear Google is going to kill it at some point, or change it so much it becomes bad and that in the end will kill it. Knock on wood they just leave it, it's such a great and complete product already.
No doubt about it. It's one of the most valuable Google service to me! I can't remember since when I've been using this. It's the bestest note taking apps.
It is a quite useful application, but it would be great if it allowed you to change the shape of the notes to ones similar to those that appear on Android 14.📝
I use Keep, but the things that bother me are that it keeps all the pictures in the notes on top, not in between notes, which is annoying when I make workflows in the tech industry. Also, I can't import small videos, both things Apple Notes can do, by the way.
The issue is whether Google Keep has a real future. Google recently stated that they will transfer reminders to Google Tasks, without necessarily being clear about the roadmap for Google Keep.
I agree with all that you have said. I have also used Keep for 11 years since its inception. I have a ton of notes saved web pages, and UA-cam videos. I have so much that I can't get to them. Unlike Google Photos, one can not search or filter by Creation Date or Modified Date or filter a given month from past years. It takes forever to Page down or Cursor down in the Reverse Chronological Keep on a desktop(because you have to wait while the screen is redrawn -even on fast computers and fast internet speeds). Google could easily make date searches available like they have always done in Google Photos. While these dates exist for each note, Google hides access to them. I never understood why Google has refused to make these basic DATE features available. Until Google allows these basic date features, most of my Google Keep Notes are unavailable. Howard
For me the problem with it is that #1 the app doesn't remember where i left a particular note, so let's say i have a note that's a very long list, in samsung notes when i leave the note and re-enter it later the app takes me to where i left off in the list and i don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom from the top again, that's not the case with keep, every time i open the note it takes me back to the top. #2 the notes appear too big in the main menu The only thing that keeps me from switching to samsung notes is that keep syncs my notes to my google account which is important for me
I really like Google keep. It's really simple and I've been using it for years now. My biggest gripe with the app is how laggy the animation is when you hit the plus button it's been that way on all of the Android devices I've used
I use keep for notes and reminders, but I use tick tick for my tasks and habit tracking. I have been toying with amplenote recently which has a full GTD brain dump system in it, but the other two have easier input with tick tick working from your notifications and keep working with assistant.
It needs to become what Apple notes is. Right now it's not a one stop shop for all things document. Integrating Lens in keep for OCR, creating PDF, hyoerlinking notes, perhaps also mindmap templates and Google recorder for voice to text lectures, meetings etc. will help a great deal.
I just started using it just to voice type quick ideas that popped into mine haven't really fully immersed into the app. Can anybody expand any possibilities with this app
If you want to make pdf annotations you can upload the pdf to google books and highlight text and write notes for it there, and then it will make it into a google docs document for you.
Simply LOVE Google Keep! They way I am able to organise within it is so simple and effective. It had some issues few months ago where it kept logging me out or dtop me from adding new notes. It's fine now and I hope they KEEP this going unlike few other Google Apps. Also upgrade it a bit with few user suggested features.

I kid you not, this Gemini, google assistant and incredibly useless bixby (I used to have a Samsung) pushed me to Apple. I love android and I’m pretty sure I’ll be back in a few years but it was just so confusing and frustrating. The problem is that I’m getting far too cosy in their ecosystem 😅
@@Rinnara21 i agree. I havent gotten rid of my SAmsung S23 Ultra yet but i am very close to getting an Iphone later this year. i know once i cross over to the darkside i will not be coming back to Google or any Android phones. i wish Google would just get it together ASAP!
I’m afraid I don’t share the glowing joy of using Google keep , I tried to like it and use it on and off for a couple of years on different devices mostly for a shopping lists , but some things just drove me mad about it . For a start as someone with big hands and fingers I always found the hit boxes too tiny and I couldn’t find anyway of separating apart or making them bigger. Rearranging the order of items on a shopping list , I couldn’t find an easy way to do it without rooting around . In the end I went back to apple notes which is not perfect either , but I find it easier to use.
Great video! The only reason I don't use Google keep is because it doesn't have a lock within the app. I like to lock certain notes with a password. Yes I can download app that would lock the whole app but I rather have it offered within the app like other note apps.
I’ve mostly transitioned off of Keep Notes, still use it for quick notes, but am mostly using Standard Notes, which is cheap, has some more features than KN, and more private than KN. Otherwise KN is great, way better than M$ OneNote, which is way too complicated and bloated. However, I use all 3 products for everyday use for personal and work.
I have an iPhone and an Apple Watch and I use google keep simply because there’s NO NOTES APP on the watch!!!!!! BUT, there’s Google Keep for my watch so if I leave with just my watch (which I often do) I can still check grocery list and all that
I use iPhone and Apple Watch too and I have my groceries list on my reminders app and add items there through the watch. If I leave my phone at home I’m still able to see and click on items using my watch.
I use it constantly. Its simple, yet with just enough options to make it functional without any un necessary bloat.
Can't even add a table there. 😂
@@echo4910 exactly, I wish it was like Samsung notes if not better 😢

Same
Me too
Out of curiousity, do you label things, or just add notes and later search by what you need? And what sorts of content do you add in there?
Pin feature is already there. Hide is also available
Google Keep has been amazing, the only thing that I would like to have is the option to lock individual notes
Facts I've been saying that for years.
I hope it gets more features like that
